Moon's hotel room antics are the stuff of legend - Townshend told a story about the time Moon first discovered the existence of "super glue" - a giant light bulb apparently went off over his head - and then all the furniture in his room ended up super-glued ... to the ceiling.

JEEEEZUS, ANOTHER great interview with Keith! My gosh, I'm so happy these gems are coming out of the woodwork! I had no idea! Someone get Jeff Stein and have make "The Kids Are Alright Part 2", seriously. This was obviously stuff he couldn't get his hands on back then. So much has surfaced since, and he's the guy to do it. They keep talking about making a Keith Moon biopic? Bad move. They should make a Keith Moon documentary. I don't want to see an actor do these bits, I want to see the real Keith. Every clip he backs up everything you've heard about him. Bad and good. Especially the good, thank God. (And thank YOU, Reelin' In The Years. I hope someone licenses this full clip from you soon and puts it to good use! For Keith's sake.....and our's as well!

The Keith biopic has been dead for many years. Mike Meyers was attached for a while, but he is, obviously, way too old to play Keith. Given that the core fans are in their 60s and 70s at this point, I doubt this will ever happen. He no longer has the name recognition to drive a project.

@@gabbleratchet1890 Yeah, whatever, I'm not interested in some internet moron's opinion about how movies get greenlit. That's pretty idiotic, by the way, they make movies all the time about people whose core fans are long gone, what alternative reality have you been living in your whole life? I'm happy if they never make a movie about Keith Moon, it would be atrocious just like 99% of the biopics made about musicians. (or are you going to actually argue with me on this? Please make me laugh.)

If this is the Who's "first concert in 7 or 8 months" as stated by the interviewer, then this is from the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany, 11th August 1972. The interviewer sounds Dutch, but the voice coming over the intercom announcing The Who are due on stage is a German accent.

The sad thing is that he was sincere in his desire to stop drinking... Well, at least he didn’t turn out to be a bitter old jerk like "Mister Pete. T" or in an other style, Krist Novoselic
What would have happened to pure souls like those of Kurt Cobain and "Moon the Loon" in the age of internet and Iphones?
