The band was really smart about that. The thing that trips up most bands, and most endeavors in general, is the money. Too many times the songwriter gets far more than the other band members and might even own the band. With Rush they always split everything evenly three ways. With no money woes to fight over, they were able to stay on good terms and stay together.
I met you guys in the 80's, around Subdivisions. You literally saved me, in ways you have no idea. Now, on the ninth of Dec., my brother who introduced me to your music, died and my nephew, who went to be at his funeral, came down with Covid. Amidst all of this, I came upon postcards you sent me, and my girlfriend, when we met you at the Capital Centre in Largo, MD. back then. You have saved me, yet again, and I thank you for everything. For inspiring me in my darkest days, throughout my life, not to mention your amazing music. Merry Christmas...
These two could probably pull off a stand up comedy routine just by being themselves. Incredible musicians, beautiful relationships (including The Professor). The best band ever.

I absolutely love Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee's unreconstructed non PC approach to drinking which is both 'refreshing' but also, in their case, nothing new. At the end of the 2010 Rush film there's a lovely sequence just before the titles when Alex, Geddy and the sorely missed Neal Peart are all sitting around a table drinking wine. Lots of it. In fact all three of them were all fairly obviously four sheets to the wind but loving each other's company. Next time I see that sequence, I'll probably shed a tear. God love them for it.

Who Cannot Love these Ol' Friends thats been through the Mill with the Endeavors that Follow, when So Many "Mystic Rhythms" Form within a Group of These Three Gentlemen.
rip Neil
I am so excited I can’t even speak……to see Geddy and Alex together again after ..well…..everything…I’m am overjoyed…and hoping to see this beer in the US …❤️🥰🙏
It's good to know that Alex can still crack Geddy up.
Who wouldn’t want to hang out and laugh and drink a beer with these guys?
I would!
@@bryanlentz7160 My dad’s cousin happened upon them at a Richmond Braves game and might have gotten a few seconds of tape of it way back when he worked for a network here. I might have been at that game or another but we never would have dreamt they would be handing out in general admission seats. Man, we should have gone looking through the crowd seating.
Just need Bob and Doug McKenzie to show up to make this ad complete.
Alex never stops being himself. He's never given a shit.
Amazing that they can still share their lives with us after losing Neil. I miss the band so much but this really makes me happy to see
Yin and Yang at it again! Love it! I'm 60, and have been a huge (I have been dieting lately though) RUSH fan since the mid to late 70's (around 'Fly By Night'). The sheer joy and musical ecstasy these 3 music mavens have given me all these decades is something I cherish and hold dear! P.S. I can't stand the taste of beer, but the humor is always appreciated.
Our heroes in one of their many, many precious moments.
Miss you guys...NO! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US COMPANY ALL THOSE YEARS...PEACE
Oh how I miss these guys.......
Absolutely love these guys !!!! Rush has always been such a HUGE part of my life !! Only us RUSH nerds can understand the importance of these absolute geniuses !!!!
I’m sure Neil is probably smiling down from heaven.
I love that they keep making these videos
I can watch these guys banter all day.
Another reason to love the relationship that RUSH is and was.
Geddy, Alex and Neil are so much more than Rush. And THAT is a stellar level to achieve rarely seen by most people in their lifetime.
Thanks for sharing this with us. It may sound corny to some, but it makes the world a better place. ✊👍❤️ 🇨🇦🇺🇸
I watch this over and over and I LMAO EVERY TIME !!✌ You two need to do a speaking Q&A tour !!! That would be sooo nice for your fans. CAN YOU SAY SELLOUT !!!😆
