I did my 2003 MIM PBass. I changed the Pickups to Pure Vintage 63's, Pickguard, All wiring & CTS 250K pots, new input jack, Bridge changed to vintage, Reverse Vintage Tuners. Sounds & plays great. I did buy the bass for $300 w/ hardshell case. Makes me Happy. Like the video & your channel.

@@BobHolland1949 that sounds like a nice upgrade and a great deal on the bass!

The original pups, albeit a brief demo, sounded fine. Ive just put some fender 60s CS in a $200 cort gb24 stuck rotosound flats on it a quality new .47 vit oil cap and new 250k cts pots and its lovely, really lovely. Total cost around $400. Its still not a fender though 😂.
The original pups in the cort were utter garbage, i think the original originals had been swapped out as it was 2nd hand, hence the upgrade. The neck is pau ferro and absolutely fantastic, the headstock is damn ugly. The body is heavy, meant to be poplar with maple top, which looks great. Next upgrade probs a fender neck if I can find a genuine one at a bargain price.
