Just found these. I'm loving every minute! What an awesome group of guys!
Will It Start is the greatest series ever. I always rewatch the older ones.
A lot more to come!!!
@@SparksMotorsCo Amazing! I could watch at least 5 each day!
@@SparksMotorsCo Could you please add Alan and Jose to the thumbnail on the Will it start vids so that I know if they will be in the video?
That's a great bit of kit! It would be good to see it pimped out for the yard as a shunter unit. José is hilarious! 😂
The whole place is like watching Abbot and Costilla
Hope y’all are paying Jose well and taking care of him. Allen is a beast human.
Absolutely
Alan is related to Big Foot
Jose and Allen are the best
hes here illegally so they only pay him 35 cents per hour. if he bitches about it they'll call ICE on him and send him back to venezuela. he sleeps on the office chair in the shop.
I drove one of these Tugs for UPS at the SFD airport back in the early 1990s. They'll move a mountain if you can figure out how to hook up to it 😅🤘🏼🇺🇲
I ran a warehouse tug like that in the military, it was a gas version slant six dodge and it had no cab. We used it for moving rolling stock like aircraft engines and the like.
He yelled “hola niña” when Hans walked up 😂😂😂😂
I used to drive that tug at Hercules. It was used to transport explosives across plant, when I used it we were transporting tooling.
Hercules by Pinole? Worked at that plant as a Millwright. So long ago I don't even remember what we were repairing.
@@robertmceuen3630 Hercules at Bacchus, Magna Ut.
@@dennisthompson7707 Many years ago there was a Hercules powder plant in the town of Hercules. North Central Ca. near Oakland.
Congrats guys
Getting the tugger going
The Wizard digging into the knowledge of yesteryear and applying it today.... rare and hard to find...like someone we all recognize! Lol! 🤯💪👍🤠
Love this series-so Wizard! And La Niña made me laugh. Love ya Hans!
I wanna be the tile guy. I have been doing it for 25 years and all new houses. I am going to the freedom factory the beginning of the month.
Allen just walking around with a lit blow tourch kills me 😂😂
These are called Airport tugs or a tow tug or tractor they are used in airports all over the world and range from $17,000-$60,000 And can go right about 20 to 25 miles an hour. and usually have a T4i diesel
I think Alan and Jose need to have an adventure series
Another great video. That sparkler adds a nice touch..................................Did you see what I did there!
Keep it so this man can use it to move the black hawk around
You guys rock keep up everything man great people you guy's are
Allen is the best. Watch every video he is in.
That was great watching and learning about the history of the Tugger. I wanna tugger and I want it right now.
One of Al's signiture Hi-vis jackets with Sparks Motors and the Wizard on the back would make a cool giveaway. A new one of course.
Great stuff
Yes that is definitely worth watching. The will it start video with allen 😅
Looks cool I hope you get it started
It's a tow tractor commonly referred to as a tak 32 (-32). It's used for hauling around support equipment for military aviation. This one looks to be outfitted for munitions or Lox hauling (liquid oxygen). Drove them plenty of times in the service 3cyl diesel engine I believe.
In the 70s we used them in an aluminum plant and they called it a shop mule. Powerhouses!
12:52 HANS to the Rescue!!!!! 🛟
What is it😵💫 Jose a tow tractor Allen after looking it up it’s a tow tractor 😂😂😂 JOSE=🐐
ALLEN=📖🐛
Its an old military tug that would pull live ordinance or TNT for mining operations.
Do you have a specific name or model?
@SparksMotorsCo United Tractor SM40-A9 or possibly SM80 is what it looks like you have. The diesel engine swap is because the low combustion point of diesel compared to gasoline or lpg counterparts to reduce the risk of fire or explosion when hauling ordinance or explosives.
@@Mrdieselblooded I think you got it!!! Thank you for sharing
We used tugs for ground equipment in the 80s but ours were gas 225 slant 6 with a 727 automatic. We didn’t need them to be permissible for explosives or munitions.
They have a diesel in it because there's not ignition system so no sparks no boom.
And you can also find those engines in International Scouts btw
since it's not too dirty, I am thinking maybe an AMMO factory or munitions factory?
There is a rocket manufacture on the west side of the valley that may have used it to move propellant.
You are right, I was probably one of the last to drive that one before it was taken out of service.
Looked like the ones we used at Thiokol.
BABY FACE almost burned it up NOT listening to how He was told to hook up the fuse link.
Luckily we caught it!
Interesting equipment. Now you just need to find a buyer!
I think we are keeping this toy. Too useful in the yard.
I have one of those tuggs put chains on the rear and a plow on the front...pushes snow like a champ!
looks like a fun offroad go kart lol. tractor racing maybe?
Got to luv Allen just so fun to watch him get shit runnin 🤠👍👏👏👏
Yes we want to see all mechanical fixes!
Shout out to my fellow Mexican Jose 🇲🇽🔥
We use those to pull trailers with torpedoes on them
back in the 80's when I worked at the transmission shop we had an airport tug called Egor with a scrapped tire strapped to the front for pushing dead stuff into the shop.
these guy are going to own ever piece of old broken down heavy equipment In Utah
Multi purpose. Tow vehicles too, plow etc. I've drove one
Intrinsically safe is the correct terminology for xplosion proof
Good morning sir❤..
Bring back the Muscle!
We better have some tug-o-war videos with that thing, full send!
I would love to have it i wanna take it to some carshows and use it to pull my trailers around
Used in a mine?
Maybe, my guess it was used to haul ordnance.
It just looks to good to be used in a mine.
That’s a great possibility as well. Honestly it has been very difficult looking for more information on these.
Great content,
Hey guys lets do this 🥤😎
Would this be too heavy to be a Sparks Motors golf cart?
Ron's just s mouth we don't need to here!
thats the cutest mini tractor :D
All you need is a wizard, and a Mexican.
Those two could get anything running.
The orange octagon with the 1 on it means 1.1 or mass detonation and as the guys said, it was most likely used to move munitions
That's what I was thinking of, a munitions factory where they make ammunition, bombs and explosives. They usually would be a contracted civilian supplier.
correct answer after you looked it up 😂😂
Leave it to the wizard to realize it's a mining/ ordinance vehicle.
Hmmm...I wonder if that's the same nissan motor that IHC used in their Scouts, in the last year of production?
I Appreciate the video
That my friend looks like a tug from an airport or even from a steel mill
Sweet
Homemade honey is the best… However I would not eat battery acid laced honey.. You may hallucinate once and take a dirt nap.
Military ammo bunkers, to move ammunition around military bases. Military does have some that aren’t military plated
I had one of those an it was called a toe motor,
110% wizard on this one!
I watch for the wizard!!
That engine looks like a nissan SD33 very common here in Australia in the early nissan Patrol 4x4's
That is true, here in Finland we have Nissan Patrol with that engine. Turbo and naturally aspirated.
If Allen can't fix it nobody can! Dude just has the gift for working through things!
Jose did
Allen goes by the book Jose does what Mexicans do a Mexicanada!!🫡🇲🇽 ayayai!!!
You have a light airplane tug used in the military, and if I recall was used to move up 45t, though may be off a bit but what I do remember is I used one to move H-60's around for four years. And yes it is simply a small tug and should have a couple of plates with model number and specs listed.
The phrase you are looking for is " intrinsically safe" . Have known the phrase for years as I used to such equipment in a fuel depot.
I can’t watch these videos when the mustache man narrates. A face for radio and demeanor like a high school principal. Made it 30 seconds in. I’ll be back for the next video that Hans/Diesel/Alan does.
We love you too 😘
Possibly cause he has an intimidating personality but is pretty friendly 🤣 he’s cool man chillax
@@Aanclto sounds like you met Caleb before.
Would have seen Alan if you lasted just 1.5 minutes longer😂
@@SparksMotorsCowe have bunch of them at work, you can used them for anything, we used them to push heavy bus around at work.
Hey what’s up bros how y’all doing much love
Allen should take it up to the Bunker..
Very nice video
ITS ALIIIIIVVVVVVEEEEE😂😂😂 the lil tugger is alive!!!!!!!
engine looks like from nissan patrol iii 3.3 D
The wizard knows all lol.
MORE JOSE RESURRECTIONS!!!
If Alan is there, it will start
"I can hold the light for ya. Just don't yell at me, dad!" 😂😂😁😁🤘🤘
I feel like the use that to load planes or military uses
My brother had an International Scout with that same engine. He used to smoke out the neighborhood every time he did a cold start. It was a shame when it got overheated really bad and trashed the engine.
Nobody beats the Wiz!
I think you should turn it into a burn out vehicle and enter it in a burn out contest
It's a brush tractor. A sweeper.
make sure to reinforce the radiator and avoid basements *wink* *wink*
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾✌
Contact Robby Layton for paint 😊
kids in a toy store :)
It is basically a trailer shunt.
Maybe from some type of refinery
Glass is bulletproof for rocks
I would love to see an equipment tour
AIRPORT TUG.
That’s the closest thing we could find but it is rebuilt to haul explosives.
Looks like the same as a Nissan SD33 diesel used in scout II and scout travelers in the late 70s. I’ve got one on a pallet in my driveway.
was thinking it might be a Nissan Industrial Diesel engine. If it is 6cyl (looks to be) the crankshaft itself is a highly desired by Datsun/Nissan guys who drool on Z cars. If I understand it right that crank can be swapped into Z's to increase compression. (longer stroke). BUTT.. other side of coin is..... that is why this 6cyl Diesel is hard to find one running.... so that diesel engine is entering the "collectable" zone.
Fix it up and paint it in a Heavy D Spark-color and use it around the workshop.
love y'all
Is this live or is it prerecorded?
maybe
Cool yes it a puller can pull a lot of trailers your crew rebuild an make special trailers for recovery of trash an like that antenna u did u gonna have off road train.
