I love that your channel is not only building RC cars but also the skill sets to master RC car building, such as brazing, soldering, 3-D scanning, and 3-D printing
I would not mind that light on my TX. The other stuff needs to be in a pocket for me, but that light and wheel are good ideas. For a joke, you did pretty good at throwing a good idea or two in there.
I have to admit I thought this whole thing was silly and over the top.... until I saw the Chapstick holder. I gotta say that really sold me! Now we just need Matt to make an infomercial for it.... "For just $199.99 you too can own the HD Thingamajiggy, now with EXCLUSIVE Chapstick holder!!". 🤣 All kidding aside, great video! That steering wheel is legit..... sell that bad boy! 🤓
Just got mine in. Tried it on a part that was 3d measured with a blue light 3d scanner. At a diameter of 113.65 mm (verified diameter by blue light scanner) , the ferret measured 113.485. quite impressive really
That's a COOL idea for Tools, just a 4 way nut driver is all that needs added... Where's the print files to use LOL 😆 Thank's for Sharing Josh ⭐💯⭐ 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend 🎊🏁🤩🏁🎊
Dude I'm actually in the market for a cheap entry level scanner. I'm designing my own parts and having them cut by send cut send. I tried using your old code, no dice lol Thank you for this video man!
So while not perfect I have had some good scan. Just wondering if you have updated the firmware and how it is working for you? I just got my and never used it with the older firmware so I don't know what difference it made.
You joke but I'd would print that(minus the can holder and pic rail) any chance of stl and build list lol one thing you should have added a little slot so you could ziptie some zipties to it
I have the creality cr 01 scanner and was blown away by the first scan of the front of my dark grey car in a dark garage even, large scans is what it does. I am thinking of also getting a scanlizard for smaller things and between the two should cover everything from coins to cars. Maybe another with lidar for topology mapping buildings, and the self driving giant mower project that won't run over anything or into anyone or anything . The sabretooth 24v rc controller running wheelchair motors and maybe tank like tracks eventually moving snow from the comfort of the living room, or while vacationing many tropical miles away. 🤔 Rock on.
I love that your channel is not only building RC cars but also the skill sets to master RC car building, such as brazing, soldering, 3-D scanning, and 3-D printing
Thanks Brian, RC is my favorite excuse to learn new skills!
Wait, this is an RC channel?!
Excellent display of the scanners capabilities!
I enjoy your "techie" videos immensely. Thanks for sharing!
I like the rail adapter. Always looking for ways to mount cams or phones to my remotes.
Nice sneak peek of Spectrum’s New Rugged Radio.
Pez dispenser didn't make it after all. Bummer. Absolutely overkill, but the fact you nailed it first try. Speaks volumes!!!!
In true Josh fashion, the accessories are now worth far, far more than the radio. Nice.
Only if you're paying gas station prices for the batteries and red bull!
Josh, dude this is ridiculously cool. Way to go over the top again!
Comic relief aside, you have convinced me that I need to learn Fusion360 and then I need to pick up one of those scanners. GREAT VIDEO Josh!!!!
10 mins. into the video and I'm already loving it! 😂
Hearing you & Matt talk about new video formats, I've really enjoyed the different styles lately.
How many Skittles does it hold?
This may have been for fun but seems to be very useful. Really cool design and process to get to the desired result.
Your talent and creativity never cease to amaze. Awesome job as always.
Thanks Chuck, I love a ridiculous project!
Coming soon, to hobby shops around the world, the new Spektrum SLT-3000 Victorinox Edition.
Night vision scope instead of the GoPro.
Great build!!
I would not mind that light on my TX. The other stuff needs to be in a pocket for me, but that light and wheel are good ideas. For a joke, you did pretty good at throwing a good idea or two in there.
This is so rad. Great job!
Great practical demo of 3D scanning and some excellent radio accessorizing mods 👍
Excellent accessorizing may be a stretch but I thought it was fun!
Didn't expect that after the hints from the Wednesday live 😅 great vid 👍
NGL some of those attachments are brillian
I have to admit I thought this whole thing was silly and over the top.... until I saw the Chapstick holder. I gotta say that really sold me! Now we just need Matt to make an infomercial for it.... "For just $199.99 you too can own the HD Thingamajiggy, now with EXCLUSIVE Chapstick holder!!". 🤣
All kidding aside, great video! That steering wheel is legit..... sell that bad boy! 🤓
Thought i was alone wi all my crap on my gt5 but now i feel im normal again aside the orange can holder....well done my friend!
This is hilarious. Well done sir.
Cool video, missed the opportunity to do a 2 point sling mounts and a demo on how to go from front admin to RC control to rear admin.
When will these be available on the website?
Great video. Affordable 3D scanning will change the scale side of the RC hobby yet again, just like 3D printing did 😲👍
I sure hope that people dive in a want to learn CAD. It's a life changing skill!
Just got mine in. Tried it on a part that was 3d measured with a blue light 3d scanner. At a diameter of 113.65 mm (verified diameter by blue light scanner) , the ferret measured 113.485. quite impressive really
That's pretty tacticool Josh
You forgot the red dot on the pic rail
A flashlight on the pic rail would be cool too
I am all about this! Done for fun but you know.... somethings are very practical.
As comical as it was... 3 out of 4 people were like "well... I guess I do need somewhere to put my chapstick".
Fantabulous!
Now you need to create a shoulder harness to lug that controller around.
Remember the bathroom buddy from the movie Gremlins 😂
It reminds me of that.
This is super dope. I’ll keep the tactical jokes to myself on this one. Might need to implement some tac mods of my own in the future. 🖖
Please tell me you are gonna release the plans for this .
THAT THING IS AMAZING! I
Did not see this coming, radio to match TRX-4000 in weight
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I need that wheel!!
This was ridiculous, and that's why it's great.
It’s ridiculous, and that’s why I want it. Lmao so funny
Awesome vid! Should have a been a “Red Moose” can 😜
Oh…ok….you’ve used this one time and now you’re a professional huh!🤣 J/K hellafresh ideas. It only needs a popcorn maker holder🤣
😂😂😂 Love everything about this project. 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You should put that up on your my mini factory
Thank for the video! Do you think this new Ferret it's much better than the CR Lizard scan? Thanks!
The lizard has still been pretty reliable for me. But I have been favoring my Revopoint scanners most recently.
LOL this is freaking awesome
Great video👍BTW do you have the link where to get that ratchet?
StabbyJosh is going to be asking for those files. It will match his rifle perfectly.
No hotwheels holder ? 😅
You are the king of the nerds 😂🙌🙌🙌🙌
I need one immediately
All I could see was shaving cream squirting out of the top. For those of you youngins...Gremlins reference...the bathroom buddy! Great vid Josh!
New Concourse category. RadRadios!!
I am wondering how many people are going to try to buy it from you. Great job on the video. I may need to try that
Swiss Army Radio, now with anti gravity drive for light weight!
How much extra did the radio weigh at the end?
HA! This is great! Not sure if it should be painted red with a Victorinox logo, or painted green and called "The Homer"
That's a COOL idea for Tools, just a 4 way nut driver is all that needs added... Where's the print files to use LOL 😆
Thank's for Sharing Josh ⭐💯⭐

Your just missing a Honda Grom!
Asplenia. 😜
Can I get the file for this
Just need a rifle scope on that rail to get a closer look at gates! 😂
Dude I'm actually in the market for a cheap entry level scanner. I'm designing my own parts and having them cut by send cut send. I tried using your old code, no dice lol Thank you for this video man!
Scanner just arrived today!! I'm about to do my first scan! So stoked to take my parts designing to the next level!
You’ve created an electronic dumbbell.
Adds to the " accidental exercise " portion of the hobby
My radio is always tactical! 😅
So while not perfect I have had some good scan. Just wondering if you have updated the firmware and how it is working for you? I just got my and never used it with the older firmware so I don't know what difference it made.
Just so you know if you hold the power button on that light it goes to a red light
Please tell me that radio goes with the TRX4000!!! 🤣🤣🤣
All hail the EDC king lol
You should have called this video….How to make a remote weigh more then your crawler lol
Didn't you have to scale it? :O
I love it are you going to start selling them LOL
No holder for a ridge wallet? 😳
You freak me out McGuyver
Comic relief or not.... I think you just started a thing....lol
Do you happen to have a part number for that hex handle from harbor frieght? I’ve looked but can’t find anything like it
Ratcheting Right Angle Multi-Bit Screwdriver Set, 8 Piece - Item 92630
@@drowildcat2960 thank you. I have the icon kit but this one looks like this one will work well under dashes for blend doors
The chap stick and the drink, a little much. Everything else, would actually be very useful.
You joke but I'd would print that(minus the can holder and pic rail) any chance of stl and build list lol one thing you should have added a little slot so you could ziptie some zipties to it
Cool beans

Rock on.
What’s missing..
-Heated grip
-bottle opener
-tooth pick
-eat utensils
And…..
Tacticool!
I need that little ratchet though.... NGL. Time to hit up HF
I can’t wait for the comments on this! 😂
What's that bad Ronny weigh
I’ll take 2
Its a Swiss Army Radio!
Looks heavy
GBR!
Everything but the can holder lol
No crystal knob? #Iamdisappoint
Key words…. it’s a “tactical” radio people, not a tactic radio lol 🤣
I don’t think you realize what you’ve started lol
