Currently, I am working as a internal food safety auditor (2 years of total experience) and also preparing for GATE exam in life sciences. I would be very happy if you recommend us additional skills or courses wrt to Food tech that today industries are looking which we could work on while pursuing Masters. Also, what we really need to take care or manage our anxiety while persuing Masters coz two years of time is very crucial and stressful. Would be very happy if you offer some tips.

I don't know how to say but this channel is amazing even when I was doing my grad I was thinking of creating awareness among students about food technology you are doing great job...
So at present I am doing nothing ...
I had done my M.Sc from B.H.U and after doing this I was not interested in doing PhD but my mentor was thinking and even said that I should go for PhD...
Next I was thinking of getting job in industrial areas and thinking about govt. Job in food technology ...
So what I find without any source they don't even call you for interview n all so with broken heart I choose to go for teaching line and got the job and than after months I quit it.
Started preparing ... Fssai release job ...
Crack first phase of the T.O exam and than not able to crack further...
Given NET exam 3-4times just small marks ...n not clear...
Frustrated and given up all hopes...
Since Feb 2020 searching job ...
Thinking ...n thinking
I don't know where I am lacking ...
N now it 2021 ...
I am not creating any negatively I love this course ....
I don't know if this course is not their what other course I can do ...no I can't doing other...
It just I can't find a way ...

Please don't be sad, or hopeless, dont lose hope or anything like that.
If you want to stay in this field then prepare better than before and give it your best shot in the interviews or anything. See what skills are required to crack those. You may consider upskilling to get better outcomes.
Or you can see what are the good things, or sarisfaction this field gives you. If you can find that satisfaction in any work of other field then you may consider them as well. Its not bad to switch fields. See what will serve you better and do that.
Please have a positive approach, only then you will see good things or oppurtunities. keep learning. Dont loose hope. Nothing but good times ahead. ✌ wish u lots of luck

Sir your videos is very nice and knowledgeable. Sir my request is to make the video on food technology related all government exam syllabus and current updates of government job vacancies.
I have completed my Graduation ( BSc in Biotechnology). I am planning to do MSc in Food Processing and Preservation but many of my friends and teachers are suggesting me to continue my Master's in Biotechnology. I am seriously confused right now, my interest is in food sector..but because of all these I am in a dilemma. Can you guide me? And what do you think about MSc in Food Processing and Preservation?
Go with your interest, that way you won't regret not going with what you wanted. It's your life and not your friends' or teacher's life. Having said that, ask them the reason why they're saying what they're saying. There's struggle in food technology. And the struggle is enhanced if you have done post graduation from a college that does not provide placements.
I'd say that if you want to pursue food technology, go for it. But be aware of the struggles that you're going to face. However, the struggles will be there for any domain, if you really want to be the best.

Because before starting a new thing it's better to know positive and Negative sides then students will tackle with problem with more patience. I most like your replaceable skill comment it's a very true and now the solution is how students make themselves industry skill oriented. sir i am 28 years old i had passed my 12th science (55%) in 2009, is there any college or online web portal from where I can get knowledge and a degree, I generally watch all nutrition videos on youtube channels (Indian and foreign) at beginning i used to watch them just for knowledge and now it has made my interest very intensively .
also, suggest college or any other source which is less expensive .

Choose MBA if you want to go into the corporate world. Choose Msc if you want to go into research or food plants.

I've heard BHU doesn't have placements..Don't know about Pondicherry University. I think at the end, you'll have to put effort to get the job. Course will be more or less the same.

Sir, first of all thank you so much for making this video. Sir i have completed B.tech (food technology) in 2020 . I appeared and cleared GATE(XE) this year but i didn't apply for M.tech (there was chance to get admission in IIT Kharagpur food processing since my rank was good enough) . I m preparing for state PSC etc but family is not supporting for that because it will take time (exam, recruitment,long process)so they are telling like prepare for bank exam etc. They don't know much about GATE and they won't support about private sector too .
So i have to take decision but sir i m confuse whether I should do M.tech (IIT Kharagpur) or should i apply for job ??
Sir i need to be financially independent . One more thing sir will it be possible to get good job after m.tech ???? I mean is there any difference between salary etc if one do job after b.tech or job after m.tech ? Or M.tech is just for research purposes and all , not for job ??? What will be good sir ??

There may or may not be much difference between the salary package of Btech and Mtech. Mtech is not necessarily for research, you can go for job as well. If you want to go for a job in the industry, just go for it after Btech. Since after Btech, you'll have 2 years of experience if you do a job but 0 years of experience if you do Mtech.

Yes you are eligible but you don't need msc to start a business.

looking at the current food safety scenario in india is very devastating, where 99% of FBOs don't take it seriously and this creates a domino effect. If the food science, food tech students aren't able to survive, not even make ends meet be it PAN india, less and less students are going to opt for it. Which in turn is going to affect over all FSMS structure in the country. Neither there are jobs in the government sector nor in the private sector and this situation has worsened because of COVID-19. BTW i am a Food Tech graduate from the top tier institute of india called NIFTEM.
Thanks for quite an interesting take on the given matter. Indeed, lesser students may opt for this course if more jobs are not generated.
Sir I am a Bsc Fisheries student, but i am interested in Food technology.. So i think after completed my Bsc fisheries honours I go to Msc in Food technology.
When I complet my msc degree then go to search any type of government job there I can faces any type of problems???

Hi sir I 12th pass student in 2018 and I was preparing for neet since 2 year after 12rh now I want to leave neet and study graduation because I want to become a reasercher I know about that if I do microbiology than possible for bt getting my dream bt miy interest in food science so I try for applying a college bt he all confused me in food science, food science and nutrition, food technology would suggest me which course is better for me I hope you will reply me
What have you chosen , I'm also in similiar situation.
