I would suggest after bachelor degree in food science, go for a job but not for masters and after some experience do mba and become a Manager, so that u will get good high packages. Dame sure i feel this is a good advice.

You forgot to mention domains like sensory evaluation, plant and machinery designing, food plant auditing, patent analysis, packaging, consultancy services etc. Food tech is really broader than the fields mentioned in this video.

Home science on the other hand focuses on domains like textiles etc. There's only a small portion of nutrition covered under home science. I hope this helps. I don't know how she said but, wherever I've seen , companies prefer mtech than btech. And btech graduates get in the first two years- 10-25k which goes upto 50-60k till next 5 years, whereas mtech passouts get - 35-50k which goes upto, 80-90k or even more.

I can understand that the companies are not providing internships, but you can brush up your knowledge, master communication skills. For maximum package, I think every industry provides a package which looks similar in the beginning. As a fresher, focus on the experience and not the package.

She can go with any MBA stream. It's not about the course, it's more about what the student does with the course and how the student utilizes the opportunity. I'd recommend her to explore all the domains under MBA such as marketing, HR, operations, finance, Agri Business etc. and then choose the one in which she is most interested. Also, I'd recommend to target IIMs since that would also allow her to build a strong profile and have a rich experience. Hope that helps.

Doesn't matter.choose graduation in food technology as b.tech in chemical and food tech or b.sc in food tech. By giving mht-cet. B.tech in aurangabad university is better
First of all Prefer btech food tech Over bsc food sci. N tech Then, both may help, but pcb will be better Because the basics of technical part is covered in physics.

check the recent QCI recruitment notification . There is a great opportunity for food technology graduates. As this is only for food science and tech graduates competition will be minimal. If u crack this exam u will be directly recruited to IAS level gazetted post.

There will be no difference in salary either uh have done bsc or master degree in food tech-definitely there will be difference and company gives priority to candidate who is having master degree specially while uh r applying for abroad/gulf countries. Not all companies prefer mtech. A lot of small and medium scale companies want just bsc or btech graduates..just to that they can pay less.

You can pursue HACCP Level 1 course.

for food technology what should i focus on PCMB or PCB or PCM
PCMB is the best combination. Otherwise you can go with PCB or PCM. Either one.
Doesn't matter.choose graduation in food technology as b.tech in chemical and food tech or b.sc in food tech. By giving mht-cet.
B.tech in aurangabad university is better
First of all
Prefer btech food tech
Over bsc food sci. N tech
Then, both may help, but pcb will be better
Because the basics of technical part is covered in physics.

Yes a little bit. Food technology will teach you application of food science. But food processing and management will teach you another aspect of management in food company

check the recent QCI recruitment notification . There is a great opportunity for food technology graduates. As this is only for food science and tech graduates competition will be minimal. If u crack this exam u will be directly recruited to IAS level gazetted post.

There will be no difference in salary either uh have done bsc or master degree in food tech-definitely there will be difference and company gives priority to candidate who is having master degree specially while uh r applying for abroad/gulf countries. Nowadays current situation of food industries in India is that most of the companies are offering 10-15k pm maximum for fresher candidates after lot of struggles instead of only few mnc company. So Bsc food tech is better for those candidates who wanna to apply for government job like fso. Thanks

So go for masters, but i belive that experience matters alot as it is food comes. Can we do job in analysis or in R&D after completing b. Tech ??? Is their scope in future to do job after completing b. Tech degree??? Or can we do some specialization like in baking and confectionery technology...???

But the major problem is graduation in irrelevant stream that just not meet the eligibility criteria of any IIT college.so is it worth to give gate in this food technology stream as it will get problematic in admission ahead lacking eligibility.pls help me to take further decision .request .

Hi. First of all, food technology is not about cooking. If you're interested in cooking then it is advisable to join a course like hotel management/home science. Food technology is about the application of sciences to process a food product.
