Food technology is a branch of food science that deals with the production processes that make foods. Early scientific research into food technology concentrated on food preservation. Nicolas Appert’s development in 1810 of the canning process was a decisive event.
@Thanks for supporting food tech it is really trending and unique subject. I have masters degree in food tech. Govt. job is quite less but private sector is huge one can go beyond their desire and also run startup.
i always support food science degree if anyone get chance for study abroad go without thinking it will give international background.

I will start the school for food tech but i want to know, if this degree allows me to work in specific field, like only with fruits and vegetables for example, and not with everything at the same time like meat, fruits, biscuits, alcohool?
@@a.z1412 yes, you can work in a specific field like fruits and vegetables. But you'll have to study everything as a part of the curriculum.

Apply for positions in laboratories, quality Department. Don't rely on campus placements only. Make an account on different job portals like indeed and naukri.com. Hope this will help you.

Subjects here are very easy and simple.... So if you don't wanna work hard you can go for it

Sir, I am interested in these bcz from past few year I focuses on nutrition , diet, for these I always check what the carbs, protein , fibres .And from which food we will get that much of vitamins etc, when ever I goes to buy something I always check certification of packets their ingredients , there carbs , protein, kcl lvl like other stuff . I used to study about the benefits of all vegetables and fruits , which type of nutrition we are getting from them so is it enough interest for joining food technology
Food and nutrition is different from food technology. Food technology is the application of food science.

Since all classes are online, its hardly possible for some to concentrate and grasp even 50% of it, and since the teaching has to be continued, maybe reading the books you recommend can compensate for the loss faced during some classes.

Yes. It is possible to work in a specific field like fruits and vegetables and not alcohol or meat. Although you'll have to study all the subjects as a part of the curriculum.

Food Technology deals with application of food science. Food engineering deals with equipments and machinery involved in the process.

Do you have interest in what you want to pursue? Then go for it. Physics is not a major subject in these branches. But yes chemistry play important role.

Yes, you can cope up with maths because it's a subject and subject can be learnt. Some of my batchmates in B.Tech didn't have maths in class 12 but they were still able to perform well in college.

I don't know about hyderabad specifically. About whole India.. Future is quite bright.. Average fresher salary ranges from 3 lacs - 5 lacs per annum. Salary increases with experience.

Sir I am desperate to do food technology since my childhood and now after my boards I am not sure that I may get a good rank(maybe around 75%) and also my parents aren't interested to send me to the northern states. Can you please guide me about some good colleges In south India and also I am desperate to know about the competition in pursuing this degree. Can I get into some good college with 63% in jee and 75% in my boards??
There's institute like IIFPT in the southern region of India. I can't assure whether you can get into good colleges with this percentage but you should at least apply.

@@niranjanjoshi5781 yes bro USA is expensive in terms of accomodations and some universities fees are also high but some universities the fees is low (public universities) also ,in USA getting PR is very much difficult ) but in Canada getting PR chances are 99.99% , accomodations expenses are less as compared to Canada
So finally I would say you can calculate the total expenses of USA and Canada if u can manage the expenses then you can decide between Canada and USA
