The fact you stressed on is completely valid but in my recent experience during my internship at one of India's leading food company I saw that they just stress on work experience hence there are many people at very good posts even in processing division who have no degree in food technology but are still there just because of work experience. Not just me many of my friends have experienced the same in the food companies they went to.So what about hundreds of food technologist who pass out every year, everyone is not able to or interested in pursuing PG degree, the job options are so less in our specialized field.
Btw your videos are great , CFTRI prep ones are my favorite, very useful thank you.

Sorry for interrupting... but here in korea, food industry is not that promising. Most of grad students turn their back after working in the field for few years. The pay is bad, the working environment is bad and the job is not open for everyone. Industry itself is too small in Korea. Very few large companies are okay, but they pay bad and they dont hire much.
