Reyes won this match. Ridiculous decision.
Commentators are ridiculous too. Ex: 20:18, Reyes lands a beautiful left hook, and commentor dope says "nice hook from Jones on that one lands".
Jones always getting "warnings" about extended fingers (we know he is a cheap eye-poker... and late knee at end of 3).
STILL, Reyes wins 1, 2 and 3rd round, and Jones is dazed hard several times. Reyes for an easy points win, 1,2,3. . . .
4th even, but Reyes stopped all take down attempts, and had more strikes (though not "significant" strikes, whatever, Reyes was never harmed by Jones).
5th: Jones takes the round, after failing at another take-down.
. . .Reyes wins.
That's when we talk about match fixing. Judges fixed the match 100%.

Reyes ran and strikes were missing the mark. He got a good uppercut in the second but jones walk right through it. It do enough to be champion. He got his ass handed to him in the 4 and 5th.
Reyes won 48-47 but some judge's gave a round to Jones and scored it 48-47. Fine. But what idiot gave it 49-46 to Jones!?!?!?!?!??

@@donovans6472 I saw Jones get knocked down and Reyes get right back up every time he was taken down. The walking him down was the last two rounds....it may show aggression but he was not dominating and there is no way it was 49-46.

Jon Jones most dangerous weapon in the fight was trying to stick his fingers in Reyes eyes. The referee warned him what 3 times? Not counting how many he got away with.
Jon Jones was so so slow! First time that I have seen him fight, and I was expecting a lot from what I have heard about him. Looked like he was really tired and very slow with his punches and his aggression. The other guy, although he was running through out the fight, out pointed JJ. JJ could not even take him down and failed each time he tried.
Though Jon did appear slower than usual...he still won!
JJ did not look like a defending champ. He looked like he mailed it in and the judges DELIVERED.
Ufc has officially became pro boxing with this decision. 30 years ago I stopped watching boxing because of the corrupt judges and now here I am facing the same decision with the ufc.

I'm going to have to give this one to Reyes as well. Not only did he outstrike Jones, but he out performed Jones at every turn on the counter offensive and defensive measures. Hands down the biggest robbery in UFC history. At no point did Jones come close to finishing him. What an upset and Reyes not only beat him, but he did it moving backwards and side stepping Jones at every turn. Dana needs to have a discussion about the bias going on here within these judges.

Reyes outfought Jones all the way and shouldn't have been expected to stop Jones's forward pressure, because Jones had the advantage in size, weight and reach.

@@joco6851 Outstriking jones in the first three rounds, and the fight as a whole. Hurting jones in the first three rounds, to the point that jones was running away. Shutting down the wrestling game. And even when he gassed in rounds 4 and 5, jones only outstruck him by 7 and 5 strikes, respectively and never had him hurt and running the way jones was in each of the first three rounds and hell, even the beginning of the 4th.
Reyes won this clearly. Compare it to how strickland was robbed over a closer fight.

Great fight! Reyes did such a great job of regularly going to the body...rare in the fights I've watched. He mixed up the tools with a surprising knee. Yup the commentators seemed to favor Jones. If you just listened and didn't watch you missed many of Reye's great work (kicks low and high, upper cuts +, body shots, right hooks, gut kicks, in & out defence, multi-shot bursts, firing off the back foot, body kick defence, clean snapping jabs, impressive takedown defence, even scoring when he is tired, can't fault him at all) . I was thinking the whole fight that if it went to the judge's scorecards Reyes had the win. Reyes provided 6 scoring shots before Jones went for a desperate takedown in the first few seconds of the final round. Love how Reyes slapped down Jon's attempts to reach with his left poke/push/gauge. Jon is clearly a great fighter and can eat heavy shots (needs to keep those fingers in check). Reyes clearly won.

To take the belt from a champion, it is not just necessary to score points, you have to be forceful, knock out or make your opponent suffer. Apart from a few blows that Reyes landed, I never saw Jones in a complicated situation. If you want to become champion you have to be very clear.

I lost respect for the team that are responsible for these UFC after fights replay. How they were able to only select the clips to show Jones alone landing shots is next level degeneracy.
Yes they didn't show ryes 50 more shots , they fixed the replay shots like John won it bull 💩 .
O fato marcante em relação aos juízes, é que em uma luta bem equilibrada, mesmo que o vencedor seja o Reyes contra o JJ, os juízes vão decidir pelo atual campeão JJones. Com certeza!
