I am nearly 74 years old, and live in a 248 square foot (23 square meter) apartment, in a retirement community in South Africa. I love the tiny space, which is where I have a French day bed, a quite spacious bathroom, and a tiny kitchen. My main living area is what I use as my professional calligraphy and graphic design studio, and a small sunroom (added by a previous renter),serves as my two-seater sitting area and is also where I keep my digital Yamaha piano. Some careful planning has created a semi-private bedroom area: a small glass fronted bookcase is perfect as a pantry, and this is backed by a chest of drawers. I find having most of my larger furniture on castors make it easier for cleaning (Africa is pretty dusty!)..I love the tiny space, as cleaning is a breeze! Our units are set in a lush garden which offers us extensive walkways, with lots of birdlife. I am blessed.....
This sounds wonderful! You should think about filming it and uploading to RUclips for the 50+ community seeking more authentic ways of living in our later years.
So funny, I started this (because this is one of my go-to kind of videos to watch) and I randomly thought about this girl who did a couple of tours of her small space. Hey, presto! It was you! So interesting to see an update. As someone else who lives in a Vancouver studio, I can confirm what a steal your place is. Can you explain a bit more about this art studio space you're going to have and when? I'm still in my same space (which is smaller than I was originally told) and moving bits and pieces around to make it as functional as possible.
This video was shown years ago about someone who works from home and it showed an office space like in a closet area or something. So this is the first time this apartment has been shown and it was a couple of years ago. I watched this because of the woman working from home and she had a little business that sold stickers and different little things and stuff like that. So I believe it's the same apartment cuz the woman had a dog too. So okay

haha it's me again! I also love watching this kind of video ☺ and the studio space is sort of an office space that's rented out for more creative uses
