I ordered the whale 500 2day!!! I needed a new filter and didnt know what to choose, but now i am 100% sure, thanks !!! Oh and one more thing if you register the new filter you get an extra 2 yrs guarantee, so not 3 but 5 yrs guarantee!!! damm I don't understand why this guy only has 11k subs, he definitely deserves more, but I don't like canister filter because I got my first 75 gallon tank couple months ago for free stand and filter and everything. Then the first thing that breaks is the canister filter and it was a fluval. Then i order some cheap canister from ebay payed like 80 dollars for it, but it's always getting stuck, so it's always giving me problems. But for the most part eh I somewhat prefer hang on back filters
My cousin runs a hob filter with a big sponge on his 75 gallon cichlid tank but depending what you got you could run 2 large sponges in it

@@HaYNFishKeeper You are a little outnumbered. Aqua clears have way more filtration surface area. They also move more water. Seems to me like you are a bit of a fanboy for that Italian company. Which is ok but not when it is super biased and not based on anything else. Love your tanks and your channel is cool. Just think you can be a little more transparent.
I got the tidal 110s and best part is motors r on the inside and when power goes out tidal self primes when power goes back on. Aquaclears well let's says good buy noting but a leaky mess. Tidals r takeing over the market now on the HOB better built 5 year warranty.

What size is your predator tank @Ha Y N Fishkeeper I was thinkin about putting one of those bass you got in a 6ft 125g think that would be ok or too small ?
My tank is a 120 BUT... it just a grow out for him Peacock bass get extremely huge, I have a 275g pond that he will be going into this summer, min size for 1 peacock in my opinion 200g they can get up 2ft

For a 240 I would get 3 but 4 wouldn’t hurt but it really depends on what you stock that 240 with
They look alright but I still prefer my aquaone ocellaris 1400. I've had most canister's now but that funky coloured thing beats them all for the price.

Question on your Sicce canister filters when you clean them does the out take of canister have to be underwater when you disconnect canister filter from disconnect? Or can I disconnect it when tank is empty. It seems every time I disconnect it when water in tank is half way done it doesn’t fill up canister all the way and I get bubbles. When you clean yours is water completely full in tank or is water beneath out take. Curious how you do yours .
That would be a great video if you cleaning it as far as disconnecting and water level .

Glad I found your page , I have a 50 gallon tank that I am raising an Oscar in . After 1 year he is over 12 inches from being a baby ! When I set my tank up originally I bought a carbon filter that attached to the back of the tank from the local pet store . The filter isn’t keeping up with the Oscar and his waste . What filter system would you recommend for a 50 gallon tank with a 12” Oscar . Please help ! I love your videos !

You threw out those two perfectly good fluvals 😂🐠. It looks like a great filter. Sicce here in Australia doesn’t have a huge market. Only there wave makers are very popular.
Fluval fx6 could be so much better a filter if only they increased their media trays. Hardly fit in any bio media. These sunsun/tray like designs are still by far the best.
You should check out the sunsun hw300 anc 5000 absolutelygreat filters for value for money.

You can fill up all 4 baskets with media if you want I only did 2 and you’re right but you definitely don’t wanna over fill the baskets 🤙🏽💯🤙🏽

The new fluval 407 is a better designed unit. Removing all the baskets at once and the vertical foam filters make the sicce unit look primitive.

Had the fluval 407 def was not im pressed with it all all. I switched to the whale 500 way better.
when I plug in the filter it makes a loud screeching sound and as much as I primed the filter, won't work...any advice?

Why would you put them right next to each other no water flow around the tank
Having an intake on each side of the tank is what you want if you have both intakes on one side there will definitely be dead spots on the side where the outtakes are… plus on a tank like that the outtakes aren’t going to be moving water like you would want that’s why I have two Sicce wave makers on it too 🤙🏽💯🤙🏽
I replaced the ceramic with the stuff the pond guru endorses that stuff is way efficient and not to bad on the wallet though the shipping took about a month 😉 but not bad Mel !!! See ladies and gents when you ball on a budget you can splurge every now and then 😉😉😉 stay up safe and blessed bruddahhh

Yeah when leaking it’s definitely user error people over fill it with to much media or they don’t double check to make sure the lids on properly I have 2 whale 500 whale 350 and a Eco 300 and none of them LEAK EVER… just my opinion that’s all🤙🏽🤜🏽💥🤛🏽🤙🏽 thanks Monica for the love and support

🤔 for biological filtration the ceramic rrings are pretty much garbage. They will serve you much better if you put them all in the bottom tray underneath the filter pads. This way the rings will act as a pre filter/ muck chamber and disperse the flow of water evenly through the filter pads.

I got a small whale filter for a 20 gallon after watching this video. It’s sucks ....instantly lost suction and output pressure.my HOB penguin 2 was doing a better job. Gonna take it off and leave my hob get a fluval 107 never had a problem with my fluval. NOT YOUR FAULT ... just my experience

I have to say that I am disappointed: You said "I hope you liked this product REVIEW". This absolutely did not have a feel of a product REVIEW. This, at best, felt like a product PLACEMENT, but actually a lot more like an ADVERTISMENT. There was not a single objective input of your own. If SICCE didn't pay for all those canisters and the HOB, you have been royally cheated...
