- The followup video to the NECA Predators, this vid looks at my repainted NECA and McFarlane ALIEN Figures!
Video pretty much speaks for itself. Repainted several of the 7 inch NECA figures and a McFarlane Alien to be an ALIENS version. Had a lot of fun with the versions, especially ALIEN 3 and ALIEN Resurrection. Love the sculpt work NECA did on those and I believe they did a much better job on the Aliens than on the Predators. As a collection....

i have the 40th anniversary big chap. Figure looks like a movie prop. But there all awesome i just wish neca would make a praetorian already...
0:34 I love the first alien of the original movie I like that the ends of the dome are dark because the absence of eyes makes it look more threatening and fierce.

You cannot beat the original A L I E N movie!!! The other sequels, prequels and spin-offs either suck and the ones that don't can't hold a candle to the original film its lightyears ahead of ALL of them! And you DEFINITELY can't best H.R. Giger's original design the Big Chap is THE perfect organism! Greatest creature design in the history of films.

Got to correct you on one thing, there was NO CGI Alien in Alien 3. It was a 1/3rd scale puttet, and a guy in a suit for close ups, do use the old photochemical way of compositing the alien into live action shots. On the Alien Legacy Blu-ray set there are behind the scenes documentaries for all 4 films they're broken up into featurettes one of the featurettes is about the full-size alien suit, there's another one about H.R. Giger and his involvement in the film, and yet a third documentary on the alien which talks about the puppet. Alien 3 according to the special effects people that made it was probably the last photochemical movie ever made. In terms of compositing. The following year Jurassic Park came out and changed everything. So the medium and white shorts I just a puppet running around in front of a blue screen like I said composited the old-fashioned way like they did but the Star Wars films in all the other films that ILM worked on up till Jurassic Park.
