    For anyone who just wants to play with the old Renegade set and doesn't care about having vintage parts, you can buy a custom sticker sheet from Brick Sticker Shop that replaces all of the printed parts with stickers that can be applied to more common parts. Obviously your set won't be "complete," but if you're planning to play with it instead of selling it, it's a whole lot cheaper.

      I think that’s a reasonable option - plus there will have to be some part swaps for a few of the non printed parts

    I never had a problem with our cats taking any of my LEGO. One of our cats when I was much younger would follow my mom up stairs while she was putting my laundry away, and (cat's name was Buffy) she played with my LEGO wheels sitting under a cardboard hanger for my "Luftwaffe" base when I was into WW2 airwar over occupied Europe phase of my LEGO building history. I recently ordered some LetBricks train MOCs so I've already started my New Year's resolution to slow down on buying LEGO sets and focus on my projects, even though I part out maybe 75% of the LEGO sets I purchase, it still seems overwhelming to buy all of those even on discount. LOL

    That 2x2 tile with grille is what keeps me from even trying this set… The part isn't available outside the US (and very rarely Canada) at all. I'd have to place two orders in the US for 20$+shipping for one part each…

    The Renegade is quickly becoming one of the most expensive sets I have "PARTED" together. And I cheated by buying a parts lot for the set.

    I did the Renegade without the yellow 2x2 tile and the yellow nose cones. Very happy not to spend that extra 100+

    I remember the yellow space wings being only in Blacktron and very expensive

    Hey Jaabo- Can you show us how to download the store inventory for a backup? Over a decade ago, I got hooked with your Bricklink tutorials.

      Ok I’ve got to do this - remind me again if I forget. I’ve never actually done it but it’s something I should do once a month at least

    #BAT: once you retire, will you become a LEGO hermit and move into the basement? Like Howard Hughes? lol

    Do you separate your newer bricks and vintage ones like I do to try and complete sets probably?

    • @BrickTsar
      @BrickTsar  6 дней назад

      My store is almost exclusively modern bricks. My personal collection I try to use the vintage parts mainly in sets from 70s and back. Stuff from the 80s and 90s I don’t worry about other than specialty pieces.
