I like ur channel man keep it up.. iv had the same thing with the norma match sometimes its awesome and sometimes you get several flyers out of the same box.
You’re spot on with your next steps imo a little more weight up front will give you more stability . I have a Sako that shoots very well with sk + and sk rifle match . I may have hit the lottery on the brick of sk rm. everything I own shoots it lights out . I believe you will squeeze even more accuracy out of your tikka . Just keep the chamber clean . I find the barrel likes to be seasoned and takes a while to tighten up if I clean it good . Since I’ve been focused on the chamber the rifle shoots . … I don’t see many guys give the tikka a good effort like you are doing . You will be very happy.
The rifle is good enough to shoot an ammo to its capabilities. It is what it is with some ammo. Good video. I’m tracking your use as it parallels my new Tikka T1x.
It really did. I need that anchor for my fingers, I can’t just let my fingers hang of the side of the grip with my finger on the trigger. There’s no consistency there. Then if I were to anchor them like I had to in the first video my trigger finger is at a 45 degree angle to pull the trigger. It don’t work.
As i said in the previous video, try Sk standard plus and Sk long range. My Tikka shoots lights out with those ammos. I got mine in a t3x varmint stock. The stock it comes with is just to small for a full grown man! I'll be watching you... allalalala long.....
I was going back and forth between Bergara B14r, Christensen Arms Ranger 22, and Tikka T1X; Tikka won. Bergara ($1000), Christensen Arms ($850), but Tikka ($650) plus enough left over to buy all the needed parts to make it shooter friendly.
Pursuit of Accuracy took the barrel off stock off and removed the black plastic barrel bed (not sure if that’s the correct name of the part). Said it improved the accuracy.
@@RimfireSS Do YOU recommend removing it? I just shot mine for the first time today. Nothing special …I used cheap ammo……7 to one inch groups …and worse
@@102Montana you can try it, shot the same for me. Check you barrel and make sure it’s not hitting the stock anywhere. Also try some better ammo. These rifles are hit and miss, some shoot real good some don’t.
Hello....I bought this gun since one month , in France it's very expansive as munitions......and now the laws are very hard for a good citoyen , but for délinquance they have war's guns.... So , Tikka Tix IS very clean , thé shoots are smalls on 100 yards and 200.......I use CCI velocitor or stinger less précise. I enjoy this gun......ciao.....sorry on my english.
It’s the Victor Titan cheek riser. Works great but you do have to drill 2 holes in your stock. The riser comes with the drill bit, screws and even the driver for the screws.
Mine shoots Norma tx22 and Match well. It really likes Lapua Center X though. Might want to give it a try.

Only thing I hate are the magazines. Had a few problems when it got real Cold out.

Another great video to watch thanks Don. I need to get the new grip replacements for mine. Made a huge difference from the first video.

That thing shoots that eley really well! Cool setup man.

Sure that wasn’t my video? lol I have one where I shot it with and without the barrel bed.
@@RimfireSS No, you may have too. But I just listened to his comments on the TIkka …

@@eddycamp2492 no problem, I'm glad you like your Tikka, it's definitely a great rifle. Thanks for watching and commenting
Fit is everything
Absolutely. Think the main reason I was having trouble shooting it was the angle of my finger on the trigger with that first grip angle.
Thanks. Good info. Blessings
You are so welcome
Great video. That Norma is really inconsistent when I shoot it
It’s terrible
Have you tried Wolf, Eley 10X and Eley Match?
I’ve tried the Wolf and Eley SABR and it shoots good.

Victor Titan. Great versatile cheek rest.
What cheek riser is that?
It’s the Victor Titan cheek riser. Works great but you do have to drill 2 holes in your stock. The riser comes with the drill bit, screws and even the driver for the screws.
Does the rifle come with the check riser?
No it doesn't com with the cheek riser.
