Grab your opponent with whatever button you have decided to bind to grab. Then press the control stick in the direction that is the opposite way your character is facing. Congrats, you've performed your first back throw. Go get em, kiddo.
Franchezco Lamont,I've encountered a FG Ness and all he's done was the following: "PK Fire!" *I shield* *Gets grabbed* *Gets Back Thrown* *FG Ness uses F-Air* *I manage to get back on the stage* "PK Fire!" *I shield then roll away so I won't get stuck in the PK Fire and then get F-Smashed* *I got grabbed once again for using my only option of escape* *FG Ness Back Throws me again* *I die* I'm pretty you've might have been in similar situations like that right? You'll barely even see a FG Ness use PK Flash :I
Random Guy111,the only thing that's shitty about it that it lacks speed and control,I'm sure you already know what the pros of using PK Flash, but I'll list them anyway. .Does a lot of damage .Can destroy shields with ease,or at least wear down shields quickly .Kills early with lighter characters .Has good knockback .Can be used to gimp recovering opponents *IF* timed correctly, but otherwise you're screwed.
Ness's Pk thunder 20% Pk fire 11% pk star storm 123%!!!!!!!!! Lucas's. Pk thunder and Pk fire 45%??????!!!?!?! Nintendo' are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ness! Paula! Jeff! poo! !!!!!!!!!
It's a lot less useful, but did you know that the very first hit of dash attack also locks? Just the first hit, though. It is possible to get this, however, and is very neat. EDIT: Never mind, I see it was utilized in a combo within this video. Don't mind me!
Villager is easy to play, most people aren't used to him because they can see his aerials being used after throws but he isn't a grappler he is a zoner. Basically, Villager relies on using his forward and back airs to get stage control and get a lot of hits in for good damage, he basically plays like Pikachu but with more options and range and heavier with more kill power. Villager is very balanced, he has one of the best recoveries in the game, an excellent projectile for combos and zoning, and his down b applies a lot of pressure while edge guarding. To put it simpler, forward air, back air, and dash attack are good approach options, or when you want to attack, and are good for getting kills off the side, back throw is his kill throw, but, like Ness, it only has good knock back GROWTH, which means it only gets stronger the higher your opponent's percent, so it is very bad at 0%, if you get a grab at zero just down throw and get a 50/50 aerial or tilt. Also, don't spam side b with Villager, it is a very good move and I encourage you to use it, but it has a lot of end lag just like Ness' and besides, forward air is better in every way, and if you recover by holding side b than you can't snap to the ledge so always use up b to recover. Side smash is also a good tool for ledge pressure, it can kill very early and works good on characters with slow recoveries like Ganondorf, Falco, Samus. If you side b and hold while being next to a wall the rocket will immediately disappear allowing you to side b again and again and you can use it to stall or to slowly wall jump and recover, you can wall jump after summoning three rockets, but that is a bit advanced, just practice with Villager in team battles online and try to get used to his great range good luck man.
DerpFace92 it's refered to as PK rocket actually it's a smash bros original move like giga bowser. PK Rockin is Ness' special move from earthbound. It's those circular blasts of psi he uses in his air and neutral and dash attacks like Lucas' hexagon blasts are weaker versions of his special attack pk love.
to be honest, PK Rockin Ω should be Ness's final smash, because he doesn't even learn starstorm in the real game. To be fair, though, he doesn't learn pk fire, pk thunder, or pk magnet either, but PK Rockin is his signature move.
Suggestion, brand new to the series... add button input to screen... I suppose most of the people know what you're talking about... I'm on Wii Brawl not even SSB4 yet though so...thanks
You mean forward air? There are side smash and side tilt, but no side air (only forward and back air) Anyways, you just simply forward air, and jump while moving in between aerials when necessary.
YourAverageLink I'm not offended that you hate Ness, I'm used to that. I'm offended that you think Ness is good. He's one of the easiest characters in the game to kill. His up b blows, if you even know a little bit about fighting Ness you basically win. I love fighting Ness, it's a free win.
Grab your opponent with whatever button you have decided to bind to grab. Then press the control stick in the direction that is the opposite way your character is facing. Congrats, you've performed your first back throw. Go get em, kiddo.
PartyMartin28 Don't forget Side Special ;).Styles has a vid on this too.
This kid a has so much tech, and people still decide to PK Fire all day and rely on back throws.
Franchezco Lamont,I've encountered a FG Ness and all he's done was the following:
"PK Fire!"
*I shield*
*Gets grabbed*
*Gets Back Thrown*
*FG Ness uses F-Air*
*I manage to get back on the stage*
"PK Fire!"
*I shield then roll away so I won't get stuck in the PK Fire and then get F-Smashed*
*I got grabbed once again for using my only option of escape*
*FG Ness Back Throws me again*
*I die*
I'm pretty you've might have been in similar situations like that right? You'll barely even see a FG Ness use PK Flash :I
Elijah Bradshaw because pk flash is absolute fucking garbage and using it in any scenario will guarantee you getting punished
Random Guy111,the only thing that's shitty about it that it lacks speed and control,I'm sure you already know what the pros of using PK Flash, but I'll list them anyway.

Elijah Bradshaw I'm glad I went out of this phase of a Ness main.
Elias Boomstick,I don't mind at least a few PK Fires every now and then.
*says hard punish game*
*uses down tilt repeatedly*

Wassup man!
I crack the game from wii u sooo i have all the DLC characters 🙃
Ness is better
did someone say... Ness?
No. They said "Okay".
BobaAsdf
Oh... Kay
PK Flash may be risky and slow but it's powerful enough to kill early
you can say that about every bad move in smash bros history
It's a lot less useful, but did you know that the very first hit of dash attack also locks? Just the first hit, though. It is possible to get this, however, and is very neat.
EDIT: Never mind, I see it was utilized in a combo within this video. Don't mind me!
Jacob Sandvig feelsbadman

great video! do you think you could do a villager showcase?

I'm gonna end confusion real quick. The actual name for PK Thunder 2 is actually called PK Rocket
No, it’s definitely PK Thunder 2.
You’re thinking of PK Rockin, which isn’t in SSB4.
DerpFace92 it's refered to as PK rocket actually it's a smash bros original move like giga bowser. PK Rockin is Ness' special move from earthbound. Hey look a bunch of other people without lives I have seen comment on other videos and live streams before
@@ranya5456 Ok?
Only thing you need to know for ness: "PK FIRE!"
PSI Magnet is for anti-approach mind games. It stops your aerial moment so you can counter approaches.
used to main ness. he's my secondary now but this helped alot
RUclips uses Tips and Tricks video on Viewers.
Its super effective on For Glory!
It's the PSIcho from the Snes
Ness
When edgeguarding and your opponent has to commit to a very predictable recovery plan, you can sometimes get em with a PK Flash
Suggestion, brand new to the series... add button input to screen... I suppose most of the people know what you're talking about... I'm on Wii Brawl not even SSB4 yet though so...thanks
the hell does this mean god im just trying to figure out what a jab lock and a frame cancel is
Great Vid man
No PK Fire followups?
Awesome.
you can make a combo with grab dawn and jump forward jump forward... finally use pk fire and charge the bat congratulations you shlash the enmie
Correct me if I’m wrong but is there a dlc Nintendo skin for ness for smash 4 or is it a mod?
I saw this at 4:49
Lol i’m a noob and i main ness. I use PK Fire to keep an enemy still then get up close and hit them with PK Flash or a side smash.
Ness is live Ness is okay
How do u do that combo when u are doing side air constantly
You mean forward air? There are side smash and side tilt, but no side air (only forward and back air)
Anyways, you just simply forward air, and jump while moving in between aerials when necessary.
Energy how are you uploading so frequently
i like making youtube videos xD

@@unded6094 exactlly or how u have to write it
Falco.
Needs Ness combos? PK FIRE x999 to back throw. Sigh...
PK fire can be easily SDI'd out of. Any good player would capitalize on the lag afterwards
Ring'd Draggy I know this already anyways thanks xD. It was to describe FG ness in a nutshell
The Georgix The Year is 20Okey. Everyone starts using ness again even tho its not 2015 anymore.
Sorry i betrayed you Omni😢
Ummmm. Omni quit smash 4. What are you talking about? xd
Charm (kinda)
Um all around character? His recovery is garbage
It's easily gimpable, to say garbage is a huge overstatement.
Dubb Okay sure. Maybe just bad recovery. You can still get hit my the pk thunder 2 when he's recovering, tech the wall while he falls to his death.
Dubb its pretty bad. its like a bottom 5 recovery
All of his options, are bad & easily countered.
As the great Isai would say "don't get hit"
What have you done... now this character is even more cancerous than before. Ness is not super fun, he is super annoying.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Hey guys I found the For Glory scrub
GameMaster WLC At least I don't play Ness. Don't get offended cause I don't like who may be your main.
GameMaster WLC I play a lot more offline than online though.
YourAverageLink

GameMaster WLC I didn't say ness was good, I just said I hated fighting him. I think he was mid tier.
