If you want to go with a CHA based version of this build, make sure to grab 1 level of Hexblade and 3 levels of Aberrant Mind Sorcerer. Super cool flavor, a lot of the same spell options including Booming Blade and Shadow Blade! Happy New Year y'all!
Love this video, I’ve gone the exact same route, so far (currently at level 6) but took my first wizard levels a little earlier (4/2). Pretty much every step early matches your build here (took telekinetic, and mobile is next). Went with lizard man as my race (for the base AC 13). Loving it so far Note though you can’t use a shield while bladesinging.
I did a build with the MotM version of Shadar-Kai and took the fey touched feat as well to be able to constantly misty step around the battle field. I roleplayed it like in DBZ where the characters are moving so fast that to others it looks like they’re teleporting. I know your don’t talk about items in these builds, but i would beg a DM for the Sun Blade for any version of this build.
You do know that Grevious wasn't a Sith, right? He wasn't force sensitive at all. He used cybernetics to boost his strength and speed to match the Jedi. But if you paint him black, he could be Darth Vader.
Hmm simic hybrid is interesting that manta glide would work nicely with your temp flight and you could still take the tentacles/pincers claws making for a fun grapple semi-flight-n-drop build or a discount Thri-kreen free hand mage multi class😂
2nd time watching it. Now because of the analysis video and a comment on how this fixes some of a melee fighters biggest weaknesses. I want to build bugs bunny, so harengon with a maul. (I haven't really figured out the rest though) Edit: I think combining a lvl of fiend warlock (make sure to pick up armor of agathys and if you go higher armor of shadows will be very useful) rest in abjuration wizard, I know not very bugs bunny like anymore, but the basics are still bunny with big hammer.
While it's not following the theme or using the multiclass 😅, it does capitalise on getting as much damage as possible out of a mostly shadow blade sneaky ambush, but making sure you also have extra attack without losing spell progression, scorching ray and steel wind strike without using bladesinger is hard, but it has soo few hp. Anyway since this is the first of your videos that I'm seeing/commenting and/or subscribing on I can get away with it. I'll try to stick to video topic on my upcomming binchwatching. So bugbear, 3 gloomstalker, echoknight, rest bladesinger. Bonus action shadow, manifest echo (free action) 4 attacks ×2 (action surge)=6 shadow blade attacks and 2 booming blade/green flame blade attacks (with second weapon) with an extra 2d6 on each. (I have considered 3 assassin rogue but surprise is something you'll never get anyway + it guts your spell progression) Whenever you run out of your echo attacks you can always fall back on steelwind strike or scorching ray (+ action surge rinse and repeat mix and match depending on remaining spell slots). Gloomstalker and alert handle initiative (or if you want cheese it there's a a chronurgy spell you can pick up with either fey/shadow touched) on top of all of that you are also a wizard so you should be mostly good. The closest (though also interesting) alternative build is gloom stalker3, echo knight3, clockwork soul3 (here we pick up shield, shadow blade, scorching ray, armor of agathys, vortex warp, wither and bloom and aid), order cleric1 and rest in swords bard with our bardic secret snatching steelwindstrike and haste. Since bard can pick up polymorph and silvery barbs. Now you can order your allies around aid (also extra hp), vortex warp, dimension door, polymorph, wither and bloom, haste, silvery barbs quickened thanks to sorcerer and order in plate mail using slashing flourish on the opening round to hit more foes with the 2d6 ambush damage or just defensive flourish/bardic inspiration/quicken spell order them around. Only problem with this build is that it takes forever, so mostly 1shot only. Edit: oh don't forget to pick up tough and/or warcaster.
I would go for soul knife since you get extra damage, an extra skill, expertise, cunning action and your can't fail any check if you are proficient in it. This might be way too powerful tho
@@kongoaurius the separate psi dice pools is awesome too. The size of the die change independent with the subclass level investments, but the die totals grow with proficiency.
how does you calculate your stat Dex by 17? In the point buy calculator it can maximum at 15 and also to feats that +2 and +1 how does you put in Dex and Con because in DnD wikidot it said " the stat is +2 con and +1 what ever you want"?
Tasha’s cauldron of everything, which is the legitimate sourcebook those class comes from, has rules about swapping racial attribute bonuses amongst other choices at character creation.
Yea. I just saw that others had already posted that. Sorry. Maybe a good substitute would've been Asaij Ventress or even Count Dooku. Lol, I might have misspelled their names, but yall know who I am referencing.

I'm actually playing a Psi Warrior with 3 lvl dip in Totem Barbarian in my current campaign. Can't wait to get resistance to all damage.
Nice! I wish your DM luck in taking you down. Take that Tough feat and you are pretty much invincible

That's so fun! That kind of mobility is hard to turn down
I'm playing a thri-kreen Psi warrior right now, but I multiclassed into artificer mainly because of the concept of the campaign

Yea I’m think I’d picture him as more of a battle master whose he’ll bent on trying to emulate psi warriors.

I play a frog Psi Knight and I love him! Kroakus Kobain!
I really like this, im going to play it in my next campaign.
It's a lot of fun! You'll have a great time I'm sure

Same to you!
I have a mountain dwarf psi warrior I am torn between war wizard, abjuration wizard, graviturgy wizard, artificer, or soul knife was dips.
Yeah those would all work mechanically. It's really up to flavor
@@DapperSnapperGaming well it is a magic outlawed game with survival rules so it is a bit intense.

Valenar Elf using a Double-Bladed Scimitar Psi Warrior 14 / Warlock 6
Totally thought you were gonna go Thri-Kreen, but I love the idea regardless
Thri-kreen works great here too!
Boost for the algorithm
Appreciate you fam
Also I feel they should get that feat free as a Psi Knight
General Greivous is neither a Sith or a force user but thats getting into the weeds. I get the point of your build.
100th! 💪🏾
Why is it spelled psi for psychic, it should be psy
It's based on the word psionic
@@DapperSnapperGaming thank you
Grevious was never a sith....😅
Yeah you right. I did quite the dumb there
