Wonderful film Eddie! I am am American living in Vietnam the last 30 years and have viewed and commented on some of your videos from Thailand. Back in 2001 I was in Brasov while on a trip with a Vietnamese company that I was doing some consulting work for. Brasov is in my humble opinion the most charming pace I have ever been. That trip to Romania remains the last place I ever thought when I was young that I would be actually be on a working trip to... an American working for a Vietnamese company in Romania! Anyway... by the time you see this comment you will have likely been through the castle and I assume you will have loved that place as I did as well. And if you have time I suggest you get to one of the Black Sea resorts which at this time of year are so beautiful (my trip was in June 2001). Ps.. I think that youtube uses that copyright issue to get out of paying a lot of money since the music is usually only a matter of seconds with other background sounds making it useless to anyone looking to simply enjoy the "music". And funny that they can find a second of music instantly yet they can't pick up a fake account account with a copied avatar. Anyway... I look forward to your continuing videos from Romania and elsewhere.

Brasov, Romania is an authentic medieval city and the gateway to Transylvania! So beautiful and historic in Piata Sfatului, Council Square. I read you can ride the cable car up to Tampa Mountain. I rode cable cars while in San Francisco, they are fun to ride and everyone likes talking with each other. It was fun seeing the KFC sign, and the sign does blend in well. So many lovely shops and places to dine and stop in for a drink or a beer. Yes, all those buildings have such amazing facades and the architecture screams of its incredible history, The side streets hold many interesting small shops, and the folks there looked very friendly. The food and open dining atmosphere is so tempting- especially those pork ribs! I read Brasov has a population of 253,000. Did you confirm when it became a city? Wiki thingy says 1235 AD, and archaeologists found humans were there in 95000 BCE (Before the common era). You mentioned how the people dressed in jackets while you were comfortable in a light shirt, I find that happens here as well, when folks from the warmer southern states come here in the fall, they find 60 degrees cold and wear a heavy sweater or jacket and it comfortable and wear a light shirt. Excellent video, Eddy. Really enjoyed this one. The video quality is exceptional, as well. Have you learned any of the Romanian languages?
I haven't picked up the language here, but I'm soaking up the culture. The people here are polite and helpful when needed. I didn't make it up the mountain, even though, I love cable cars, but I have visited Bran Castle. That was terrific. Vlog coming soon. Thanks for your info, Mark. Good to hear from you.
Great comment Mark. 👍 btw, thanks for being so generous $$$ with the live streamers. Takes a special person to behave like that, and I'm sure they "really really" appreciate it.
All looks very appealing Eddy, like yourself when I'm on a city break I like to get away and visit the smaller towns where the prices aren't so steep and the bars and restaurants aren't all packed out with tourists. This all looked very pleasant.
I was planning to give Brasov a miss when I go in September....looks like I need to change my plans ! Great video eddy, you certainly came across an atmospheric town there.
Great to see you full of enthusiasm Eddie ! When I was travelling, the best days were when my energy levels and enthusiasm levels were high. Then an empty carpark would make me happy. But when you come to a great place that you can explore, window shop, have some food, get up a mountain - well, you have energy for days.
So much beauty in the sights. There's also a lot of beauty in things that I'm not seeing there. Hope the EU doesn't get it's filthy fangs in there anytime soon.
