False prophets need to call attention to themselves. Unlike the true prophets of the Bible, these false prophets are simply not humble. Their showmanship exposes them. True prophets of God have come and gone but God has left for us the one all sufficient record of His message He delivered to them, and from them alone to us, and God has not abandoned His Word leaving His elect to interpret His Word on our own... He has given His elect the indwelling Teacher, the Holy Spirit of God, to bring us the true light of His Word. Jn.16:13,14, and 14:16,17.
