    You should go to screamtown, it’s in Chaska. It’s scarier than valley fair a lot of people say and it’s got like 7 haunted houses

    I was sadden cuz my son Phillip Boos couldn't do the Undertaker becuz the person said they had all their people. Cuz he didn't get his application in on time. Why apply every year since you have been there 10 yrs. So he found another place to work at. Then the boss from here called and asked him why he wasn't not coming back. He told him what the lady said. Here she was wrong. But after that he won't come back.

      I've never heard of a Squishmallow before reading this comment. I just googled it and it looks like it is a type of plush toy. Is that correct? I am extremely glad I went as well. I also have a video of ValleyScare's final weekend up on this channel. I too am very disappointed by the cancellation of ValleyScare. I can't say I'm at all optimistic about the new event. I mean, it is simply a family event that leans more kiddie. It wasn't made for people like us at all.
      I still don't understand why they can't do a family event during the day and ValleyScare at night like they always have been. They can still significantly upgrade the kiddie event and have the Haunt as is or a bit modified.

    may i ask why the cleaver maze got such a low review? great video!!

    • @rollercoastermotor1665
      @rollercoastermotor1665  2 года назад +1

      Well thank you!!! I wouldn't really say I gave it a low review, but I would rank it the lowest of all the mazes that I did. I still really enjoyed it though. There was not a single bad maze in the park. Subjectively speaking I guess I'm just not as big of a fan of straight up gore and blood as those two things were featured very heavily in Mr. Cleavers. I also felt other mazes had better set design and better use of effects with either lighting or cheap animatronics. Mr. Cleavers did have a certain type of cheap animatronic (for lack of a better word) that I thought worked extremely well though.
      The problem with ranking mazes is that someone has to be last and unfortunately for me it was Mr. Cleavers. Sometimes it also depends on how well I was able to interact with the scare actors. That can come down to good/bad luck right there. I can't say I was too fortunate in that regard with my Mr. Cleavers walk through.

    @mrbig5219 2 года назад +3

    Great video. Could you answer a few questions for me? I'm trying to decide if I should go this year, it'd be my first haunt.
    What made 2019 better? Did this year have less mazes? Were they short staffed so there were less actors in the mazes and scare zones? Just trying to decide if I should go this year or just wait until 2022. Your input would help
    And we're masks optional for the Halloween haunt?

    • @rollercoastermotor1665
      @rollercoastermotor1665  2 года назад +1

      I believe there was one more maze in 2019. The mazes and scare zones seemed appropriately staffed. There is also no show in the Galaxy Theater. There were also some specialty food and beer options available from Surly Brewing in 2019. There are no specialty food items just for Haunt this year that I am aware of. They do have the MN Eats building though which has been open all year and had a different vendor in it each month. The Arcade was always a bar for haunt except for this year. There are significantly less alcohol options due to this. Food service everywhere around the park is significantly less staffed than in 2019 and many food service locations are just outright closed. I'd really recommend eating before going into the park and avoiding the food service there. There are much less options now and the service is fairly slow.
      I also can't say I am a big fan of the new no bag policy and no camera's in scare zones policy. I believe both rules are new for this year.
      Masks are only required for guests that are not fully vaccinated and the park is doing nothing to check for vaccination status. So they're mostly optional I would have to say.
      The biggest thing to me is that the park feels way less busy than it was in 2019. The park is still requiring reservations and limiting capacity due to staffing. This isn't really a bad thing exactly, but I always kind of appreciated the hectic vibe of the park when it was absolutely full and numerous rides had hour plus waits. Though I also always went with a fast lane pass back then so the length of lines didn't hinder my experience. I had zero issues doing all of the mazes, scare zones, and some rides without a fast lane pass this year.
      It is still a very good event and I highly recommend you go. It's just hard not to compare it to 2019, because that was the last time this event happened. I understand that there are different realities now and the park did what they could. Just gonna hope that 2022 is closer to 2019 and appreciate 2021 for what it is. Still a great event and very much worth going to!!!!!
      If you've never been to ValleyScare before then none of these differences will stand out to you. I highly recommend you go. I still had a really great time despite noticing all of the differences.

      @@williammanthey6763 Yeah Dark Harvest was very much missed this year. There is quite a bit of potential to improve ValleyScare in so many ways.
