I dont know what to do bro. im in a part of the world with no AA programs and i quit on my own several times but i really need that support system cause im not very strong i think. Ive been abused, beaten, insulted, cursed while i was being raised and as a grown up, the smallest things get me to a horrible place. It feels like the game is rigged against me. i dont know what to do bro.
@@okeanosokeanos2716 dude let me tell you something. I drank everyday for 8 years! That was after I did heroin for 5 years! And I did that because I was spending too much money drinking and doing blow for 7 years! That's 20 years of active addiction. I went to an AA meeting as part of my punishment for my 2nd DUI I got when I was 21! That was my last one also, though I don't know how. Anyway, at that meeting I mentioned why I was there and somehow the part of the AA creed came up where they say you have to give yourself up to a "higher power" because you have to admit you're not strong enough to quit on your own. I don't believe in God. I don't believe in religion. And I don't lie. Especially to myself. So I said that to the group and was basically berated for the rest of the meeting! I left there feeling awful and the first thing I did was drink. I never went to another one again. Fast forward 14 years and I was 35, broken, alone, no career because my father screwed me out of my percentage of the family business that I was 80% responsible for expanding! And I knew aa didn't want me unless I could lie to myself and say I believed in a bunch of shit I didn't! Finally I just snapped and decided I was done. I quit drinking and smoking that day and I haven't touched either since!! Instead of drugs, alcohol and nicotine I started exercising. Mostly running. It hurt like hell in the beginning but I still felt better in spite of it. I would put in my earbuds and get lost in the same music I used to listen when I was getting high and drunk and trying to cope with all the hurt feelings I had. Soon it became like I was fighting the whole by myself and I was going to kick it's ass no matter how much it hurt! I started to get addicted to that instead. Quickly. While I was going through this I decided to start my own property maintenance business. Fast forward 7 years and Im a completely new person and happy for the first time ever! And I did it alone! Don't ever feel like you don't have what it takes to overcome your addictions! You just have to immerse yourself into healthy ones. Believe me if you start running while listening to whatever music gets you fired up or stirs up emotions, good or bad, you'll see what I mean. It's going to hurt and it's going to hurt bad! So get some ice packs ready and don't forget to stretch. And also, don't set a quit date. You'll dread the fact that it's approaching and you'll think about it nonstop to the point that you're probably going to fail before you even start. Just do it. The few days are going to be the worst but keep going and be your own coach. Lose this attitude that you're not strong enough. I had it too. You are strong enough! Repeat that in your head every single time a negative thought enters it. Good luck man! You got this!

An underrated comic/ storyteller
Ho-lee SH¡T! He looks like a professional wrestler! Haha I remember the early years when he was super thin, sunken in cheeks, baggy suits, mop top hair, then he gained weight and got kinda chubby, weird haircut, kinda schlubby, and now he looks like a Texas Ranger haha good for him.
It's called "getting older". It happens to everybody.
And stopping the drugs he claimed doing...
He also does an excellent Colin Quinn, but now he is even starting to resemble him a little.

My favorite impression Jay does is Norm McDonald as a serial killer. I was down on the ground gasping for air for like a half hour I was laughing so hard.

He was the first guy to start doing that in the early 90s on SNL. Now it's obviously one of those impressions that everyone does (but I think his is still the best)

Yeah it the best and yeah, I think your right, his natural voice actually sounds pretty similar as Walkens. You can notice the similarities when he’s talking as himself in between the impression sections.
