Through the Woods is such an excellent graphic novel, Emily Carroll is a fantastic author and illustrator. I just checked out another of her graphic novels, When I Arrived at the Castle, and I'm excited to read it.
Besides Six of Crows which I loooooved, I recently fell in love with The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein, OMG was it good. Technically finished it in early Nov., but was ready it during Oct. and I really didn't expect to like it so much but it kicks a lot of ass. Would deff recommend!
So many great books! I highly recommend giving The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich a try. It's a mixed media spooky thriller, and totally sucks you in. Loved it!
Ooooh I read House of Salt and Sorrows this month and I LOVED how atmospheric it was!! I hope you'll like it when you finish! You've made me really want to try a Neil Gaiman book now as well lol
bookshelf control I need to finish that book omg!! And yessss! His writing isn’t for everyone but I love him!! I’d totally recommend the audio for the graveyard book or Ocean at the End of the Lane if you’re into adult magical realism!❤️❤️
