But besides that variant, I think the ashen/husky variant is my favourite.

This feels Great variety of wolves is amazing
The next layer of progression after tools and armor:
Accessories:
It Increases player’s stats like hit points, block reach, jump height, inventory slots… . An Additional heart icons will appear for the player.
Accessories are crafted with blocks of ore (blocks of diamond, iron…) and unique loot from epic dungeons.
They have levels just like tools and armor according to the ore it’s made of, just like armor and tools.
They are spread through the dimension they are useful for, for example to craft the one who extends block reach, one should go to caves(trail chambers), adding inventory slots -> the end, adding breath points/bubbles oceans and adding hit points/hearts -> warden dimension… .
Sounds a lot like Terraria, and I love it.
11:20, it was referring to the update Block Texture that looks like a dirt block with the text “UPDATE!” On it in green, not the missing Texture.
I was just watching the java snapchat live, but i feel like more wolf variants will be added before 1.21
I hope cows,sheeps and chicken will have their own variations too just like Minecraft earth

I like the woods variant, might be nice to see a different wolf in oak forests where i usually build a base

OMG, I dont have a wolf pet in my survival world, but this motivates me to get a new variant as a pet!!

You cant change it, you have to go out exploring and the different wolves spawn in different biomes@@richardsmith3128

@@richardsmith3128 no all the pale dogs that you've already tamed before the update will stay pale, so you'll have to go and find the new types if you wanna get them
This will add much depth to every biome. This is actually a great update.
its great they finally listened after all these years! (well, partially cause they are still wolves). hopefully soon enough we'll have actual dogs with different breeds and color.

Fun fact: the African wild dog's scientific name translates to Painted Wolf! And yeah, the striped wolf is likely based on the striped hyena which is in a whole other family (hyenas are their own family in the feliformia suborder, they're not cats or dogs). Personally I would have preferred a hyena mob with a longer neck and mane and perhaps that could have spotted, striped, and brown variants. Overall though, a solid update. Just unfortunate this kind of rehashes a lot of the more negative stereotypes about hyenas just being dogs when they're extremely unique and fascinating in their own right.

@@CACgaming007 Unfortunately, they cannot, as I was building an automatic farm and I should have made the fox put a sword in his mouth but he did not take it But he took it in the Java version 😅😅😅
@@MRClock12 hmm? I swore a long time ago I saw a video of bedrock tips. One of the tips was to give a fox a fire aspect sword and it would work.

I need to know at everyone's playing on bc im on PS5 experimental 1.21 I can't find a single dog other then og skin. And that's in diff biomes, survival, creative and multiple diff worlds

80,000,000 possible looks to your wolf since you can dye the wolf armor about 8,000,000 colors and there is 8 variants. I'm joining the preview right freaking now. Even though I play on mobile, I'm finding a way to join the preview and convincing my friends to join and we might collab
After a little bit of testing you can’t get the black wolf to spawn in the the old growth biome only the chestnut wolf spawns

honestly, I kind of a think they were going to update the wolf because of the mob vote, I did vote for the armadillo, but I think because the armadillo won, we got these bad boys. which is not bad, It is just a little obvious after wolf armor was added.

Sadly, I'm starting to doubt any other wolf variants exist. Gone to five different Biomes so far and all I've found is the defaults. Haven't managed to find any of these Armadillos, either.

It’s based on the Florida black wolf. It’s not based on any dog breeds, none of these are based on dog breeds.
