- This is a full room tour of newly updated Deluxe Studio with a standard view at Disney's Polynesian Villas. This is a Disney Vacation Club room, but it can also be booked on Disney's website as a non-member.
These rooms sleep up to 5 people. There is one queen bed, a brand-new Murphy bed that pulls down onto the couch, and a single pull down bed. They have also updated the carpet and many other smaller items throughout the room.
This is a unique deluxe studio in that it has two bathrooms. This is not normal for the deluxe studios, so this can be a huge advantage for families. The first bathroom has a toilet, shower and bathtub, and sink. The second bathroom has a shower and sink, no toilet.

Nice room. I do like that decorative tile in the showers. I hope they do more Murphy beds in rooms instead of those uncomfortable sofa sleepers. Shortest straw gets stuck on that one 😁

I think this room is on the 3rd floor. Second floor rooms don’t have a balcony if I recall. 😉

That’s true for cash hotel rooms, but DVC rooms all have balconies on both the second and third floors 😊
@@HereWithTheEars I looked back at pictures and I stand corrected! We were told second floor had no balconies when we checked in but we were in a DVC room. 🤷🏻♀️

Would you recommend a block/room in particular? We are 2 adults so we would prefer to be a bit away from the kids pool, but not too far from the amenities!

Hello and thank you for the tour!! Do you happen to know where all the DVC members do laundry?
The first floor of the Moorea building has the laundry room.
I didn't realize there are two bathrooms in the studios. Are there also two toilets or just showers and sinks? What did you mean by "the rooms in the hotel". I just booked for July and this will be our first Poly stay. I love that there are still rooms with Lilo & Stitch! Is this only in the rooms not in the main building?
The hotel rooms are the cash side that are not DVC studios. They have a different layout and design than the studios. The extra bathroom has a shower and sink, no toilet. There are no rooms in the main building. They’re all in separate buildings around the resort.
Is the queen Murphy bed as comfortable as the regular queen when it has a thinner mattress?

isn't BLT older than the poly villas? Why didn't they refurb BLT first? It could definitely use those pull down murphy beds. The pull-out beds at BLT are revoltingly dirty. Long in the tooth is the understatement of the century.
BLT is definitely due for a refurb. We’ve been told they’re working on test rooms, so hopefully this resort will get some much needed work done soon 😊
I thought those rooms used to have a second toilet or was it always just one?
It’s always been just one toilet, but two bathroom areas 😊

No it doesn’t
So there isn’t a real fridge in the room to store foods in?
You can store food in the mini fridge, but if you want a full fridge, you’ll have to stay in a 1 bedroom villa or higher. Studios only come with mini fridges.
Why not mount the soap and shampoo in the recess in the showers?

No it won’t.
It's true tho, a friend of mine who is taller than 5'5 was able to fit on the bed and sleep comfortably.
@@TheDisneyPastor it can be done but you have to be ok with your feet hanging off. I’m 6’3 and if I was invited by friends or family and I had to sleep on it, I’d make do and just be happy to be there.
