Your blank button underneath the left driver side vent is to toggle on front and surround camera for XSE premium plus package - not for heads up display which is always on.
Thank you very much! You have the most informative video I’ve seen on this. I just purchased the 2025 XSE and it’s really confusing on some of these buttons.
Took me a minute to realize that I bought the full package. The top view camera is amazing. Allowing you to see a front/ back and side view on your display of your car while driving.!
I thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial. My question is how do I find the miles per gallon accurate display on the cluster I have 950 miles on the vehicle and I can’t get more than 35.6 miles per gallon
Miles per gallon greatly varies based on environment and driving habits. You can try to reset it by holding OK to see if it gets better. The MPG calculator is pretty accurate, it’s all based on how you drive and the environment. Also, MPG improves after you break the car in.
Hello Sir! Thanks for your video. I just have a question about your dashcam. I have had one in my lexus, but there was no way to really hide the power cord. I see that yours comes down from near the roof buttons. Please share how it is hooked up. My dashcam saw a car go through a red light, hit another car before being flipped over. CHP was so glad I could send them footage! Thanks for your time.
Hello, I wired my dashcam along the top edge of the headliner against the windshield (see video). The wire drops down around the rear view mirror and it should be just long enough, if it’s too long just wrap it around the mirror once or twice and you should be good.
Hello, Thanks for the video! I bought a 2025 Camry SE a month ago. It is my first car. The auto-dimming rearview mirror works well during the day, but at night, it's too dark, and I can’t see clearly. Is there a way to turn it off or adjust the settings? I don’t see any other buttons besides 3 Home Link buttons underneath the mirror.
I am unaware of a button next to the right of the shifter. To reset the trip meters, you will need to use the steering wheel controls to scroll to the trip meters, then hold OK to reset.
I installed the dashcam by running the wire from the center console to under the glovebox to along the A-Pillar and up to the headliner. The wire comes out of the headliner by the rearview mirror and connects to the dashcam there. The camera I got is a Boogio branded one from Amazon. Got it while it was on sale for $30, works great and I've had it for over a year.
Thanks for the video. Waiting for my car to get it and wanted to get a head start on the functions. Does the dash cam drain your battery when left plugged in and car is off? My dash cam warned me that some cars "run hot" even when cars are off and, in those, cases the dash cam may drain car battery. Can you confirm whether this car "runs hot"?
This car does not run hot. As soon as you turn it off, all power is cut off to anything plugged in the car. There will be no battery drain whatsoever. Thanks for watching!
@@DNDrives Can you elaborate on how the dashcam is powered? Our cigarette lighter port in our 2017 Camry is down by the console so we have the wire to the dashcam hanging vertically down to the console. Yours appears to be plugged in by the rear view mirror. Is there a 12 volt plugin there somewhere? Thanks. Great video. Our 2025 SE should arrive this week.
Whenever I hit the cruise control button it just changes from regular cruise to adaptive. I just set my cluster to not show the cruise control stuff because it was bothering me how it said adaptive cruise control so large
Yeah unfortunately mine does not. I’m not sure if I got mine before they started adding it from the port, but every single one I’ve seen at the dealer recently has one installed

me too 😅😅😅
@@DNDrivessometimes when I'm driving the screen shows me "sit up" it on&off I don't know what it means thank you 🙏🙏🙏
There’s a sensor on the steering column that senses if you are paying attention while you drive. If it says sit up, it means it can’t detect your eyes
Thank you for answering my question!🙏🙏🙏

I just purchased an XSE. The dash is somewhat different than my '22 SE. Thank you very much for the walkthrough.

You mentioned in this video another video you made about the “gauge cluster”. I can’t find that video. Can you add the link in comments??

Thank you!

Usually there’s a button but on my car there’s no button neither. I don’t see anything in the owners manual about turning it off neither unfortunately
Helpful video, quick question, which dash cam did you get?
I got the boogio dashcam from Amazon
in EV mode if battery allows you can drive no faster than 20 MPH before the engine kicks in.
I believe it’s more like 25-30 MPH, I’ve gotten it up to 26 but I haven’t really tested its limits.
@@DNDrives good to know. Thanks for the reply.
whats the - and + on the left and right behind the wheel
Those are the paddle shifters. Since this is an eCVT, they just control the RPM of the engine, there are no physical shifts in the transmission
There is a button just to the right of the shifter, what is it for? How do you reset Trip A and Trip B

I see u have a dashcam. Did u wire/ power it through the rear view dimming mirror?
Nope, just through the cigarette port
