    The fact that Shazier walked to give the steelers first draft pick only two years after that was absolutely amazing. As a browns fan i dont think i could have any more respect for a steelers player ever

    I remember hearing about Goodwin's son and being heartbroken, but then to see him bust that huge TD and then collapse into tears at the end, man, I was tearing up too.

    I was at that Pro Bowl when Kobe died, found out just as we sat in our seats, still can’t believe it. The whole stadium chanting Kobe when it was announced at the stadium was amazing! 🙏🐍

    As an Eagles fan, the Shazier one has me saluting the Pittsburgh organization more and more. They never onced turned away from Shazier and his family. They still allowed him to retire at his own time, and still to this day, keeps him under the organization as if he still was playing. Class Act to the fullest by the Rooney family!

    I worked as a carpenter for a while in Pittsburgh
    And I had the honor of working in Ryan Shaziers house
    I’ve got to say Ryan is a very humble man and he is a great guy to be around
    It’s really unfortunate what happened but he doesn’t let it stop him and I respect him for it

    I have been a Bengals fan all my life so you can imagine how I feel about the Steelers. I was watching the game that Shazier went down and it was crushing to me. To see someone so young and absolutely loaded with talent cut down in his prime like that was devastating to me. I miss seeing him on the field even though he usually kicked the shit out of my team on numerous occasions. Bengals nation prayed for him from the moment he went down. He is a total class act, he was a complete bad ass on the field, and he handled his injury with a style and grace like no one I have ever seen.

    The amazing part is that the doctors told Shazier he wouldn’t be able to walk again but he is able to walk and I know a lot of other people don’t like us over here in Steeler Nation but it was nice to see the unity of the Entire league to wish him well and pray for him

    yo Shazier may have been an absolute legend if he wasnt the result of a freak injury.. He is a legend in his own right though by relearning how to walk and showing that injury what a determined mind set, and will to power on can do! Hate the team you played for..     I'm a steelers fan. I remember watching that game when shazier got hurt... I remember them talking about how he always led with his head when he talked and that he had to fix that about his game just the day before. I hated seeing that happen to him... I wanted him so bad to recover and come back to be the HOF player I knew he could be... I literally cried when that happend

      I met him in a restaurant a few weeks ago. I could tell his injury still affected him greatly because he always was waking like he was limping. It was sad yet inspirational at the same time. Even with the virus going around he still gave me an autograph. He Is a great dude who I wish was still playing

    I still remember the tears I shed when Sean died. He was my favorite player by a mile. Watching him play was like riding a roller coaster you had never ridden before, you knew something exciting was gonna happen, but didn't know when or what it was.

    My dad was there when Shazier went down, and after the game called me in tears. It was such a nasty injury, I could barely keep it together watching on TV.

    As a New England Resident that game vs Baltimore is one ill never forget because its the first time I rooted for them to beat us. Torrey Smith and Ryan Shazier, such bad things happen to good people and thats what makes it so much more sad. R.I.P Tevin Jones
    Also prayers for Steve Gleason the guy who blocked the punt vs the Falcons as for he was diagnosed with ALS.

    Worst moment in 53 years of being a steer fam brings me to tears everytime I see it What a remarkable man Ryan is his courage in how he has rehabbed to walk again is in matched best a chosen man of God I am glad he’s not gonna chance playing again just not worth it And his platform and how he has brought awareness and help for spinal cord injuries is that of a miracle as he is He’s doing so much that will help millions just love Ryan and admire him
    More than any man He is one of a kind

    When I heard and saw that Shazier was retired I was tearing up, Especially when he got injured. I'm a huge Steelers fan so it was pretty tuff.

    I commented a year ago, on Shazier in this video as an Eagles fan, now I'm back to say RIP Gleason of the Saints. He was the beginning of the Saints rebuilding after the Hurricanes. Later suffered with ALS. Now he takes his place twice from this video. From NFL fans family #FlyGleasonFly!

    torrey smith losing his brother hit me. i know the pain of losing a sibling. its beyond debilitating. i cant imagine competing at that level same day.. his mind must have been in muscle memory mode and shock... gah

    Shazier had a great career ahead of him sad to see him get injured like that so talented and had so much potential I watched the game he got injured in I was in shock when that happened .R.I.P Sean Taylor such a legend he also had CRAZY potential as well.

    I'm a browns fan been one for years but when Shazier went down that hit me different. Just cause someone is on a rival team and they get hurt I'm not gonna cheer. Love my Browns but When Shazier walked again I was as happy as could be. Major respect for pushing through
