Greetings from Finland! Some things that came into my mind:
    1. Hopefully we people from Nordic countries can drive better in Iceland than other tourists.
    2. If I ever come to Iceland and see you, I promise that I will say hi to you and not just stare
    3. Don't ever think about plastic surgery. You are beautiful as you are.
    4. Don't care about your accent. You speak very clear English and it is just normal to have a little accent when speaking foreign language. Most of the people in the world who speak English as a foreign language, speak worse than you.

Me and my 2 friends made a roadtrip all over Iceland and this trip surely fullfils our expectations. It's a bit difficult for a Greek to come to Iceland but i suggest to all my friends to visit your country. It really worths it !!
Greece is very beautifull too but with a very different beauty. I wish you come here one day..!! You know, my basic job here is a dance teacher. Specifically Greek traditional dances and i like very much to deal with and to learn things about the tradition, not only mine but from every country. I have of course a preferration of the nordic countries, especially Iceland and Norway so you could make a video of the traditions, main mythology tales, dances e.t.c of Iceland. I would really loved it and i think all the people would.

But somehow I stayed and watched. Funny thing that you are fascinated by Greece and the mythology 6:30 -
as for example I am very fascinated by Iceland and theogony/mythology and I find it to be my dream destination.
It is so peculiar how people from so different parts of the world feel a specific magnetism to distant places.
Plus tip - since I have been for quite many a year a scholar in a sense of Greek and Ancient Norse mythology -
believe it or not - there are quite many similarities in both cultures of Norwegian and Icelandic people and
Cretan people specifically both in mythology and in modern every day life and kept traditions.
Good to see people are interested in my country besides the islandic tourism in the summer.

Hi! How Icelandic sounds to me (native speaker of Swedish):
[speaking troll language] [speaking Swedish] [speaking troll language] [speaking Swedish] [speaking troll language] [speaking Swedish] ...
I understand many words and phrases, but all the stuff inbetween makes is very difficult or impossible to understand what you are saying. :-)

The first time I got interested in going to Iceland was back in '99 or 2000 when I saw the video CKY2K (skate/sketch video). The country looked so amazing.

The worst part of Iceland is you have to buy gas card for one specific gas station and there are several. You cannot just pay with a bank card or credit card at the pump. You have to get a prepaid gas card

Vikings didn’t go around “killing people” the whole world was very violent back in the day! They were great warriors, explorers and pioneers, I would be proud to call them my ancestors.

Vikings are those that go on a "Viking" or journey. It wasn't all about killing, they traded, settled and raided. It's part of our heritage and something to be proud of, IMO at least :)

I am a new subscriber and I have to say I love your channel. I love channels about Americans living abroad. I like hearing about far off places and why they are different and how are they the same and found this channel through your spot you did about "You know you are dating an Icelandic woman when..." which had a link to your channel.
As a native American English speaker I want to say you are very clear, understandable and very proficient.
Thank you for such a candid look into your life. I am interested in watching more.

Ps. Your accent is very cute, don't worry about it, even though you barely can tell that you have an accent.

Hey! Don't know how but just bumped into your channel and, let me say, I really enjoy you videos. Greetings from Colombia, hope I get to bump into you here or in Iceland one day!
BTW: Seems interesting that you accent is kind of similar to a Spanish speaking English.

At 3:45 I legit thought you had a teddy bear on your bed that had somehow not realized it was being recorded and became sentient (like the toys in Toy Story). It took me a minute to realize it was a cat! Thats what I get for staying up late watching g RUclips!
