wo-oh... Bruh now ma boi is gonna be more brutal than ever with all this gang of propellers when taking of! can wait to here how it will sound like and all the improvements! And also I Really like how they stayed faithful to the original design. A thing Bombardier unfortunately didnt do with the q400.
As an ATR maintenance technician, I'm glad that a different anit-ice method is being used. Now if you can only do something about those air cycle units.
@@sadiporter2966 I work with ATR 72-600 and Embraer 190-200 and E-Jets E2 at Azul Linhas Aéreas here in Brazil. I'm sure I'll work with the new ATR EVO and most likely the new Embraer turboprop.
Everyone is labelling ATR as a very dangerous aircraft and aircraft maker. It isn't, every aircraft manufacturer has had at least one crash to their name. It doesnt make every plane of theirs dangerous. Dont take one crash for granted that their entire range will crash too.
Beautiful plane! Looking forward to fly on it! most of the people doesn't realize the benefits of turboprops! I guess they are the future who knows data will talk, by now simply lovely.
@@daviigaming6424 not unless the propellers are in the back, like a Piaggio Avanti, or the new Embraer turboprop (by the way, did you even watch the video?)
I honestly thought ATR would be a bit more innovative when it came to a new aircraft. This is basically a modified ATR-72/42. Not much has changed. Embraer is working on a regional turbo prop with the engines in the rear which will greatly reduce cabin noise plus also allow for lower landing gear. The aviation world needs more than a slight revamp of tired old designs. A push forward is desperately needed.
Why tho? While I see your point, the aviation industry is more about functionality than cool-ness. For ATR with such a mass-produced airframe keeping a similar design makes the aircraft way easier to maintain and handle with existing infrastructure
We maintenance technicians will see hell while changing Pw127 engine ignition leads. Why cant you design the clamps which are holding ignition leads upside down.. So that we can fasten them easily
How many people have been killed and severely injured in ATR aircraft accidents? Was it 600+ since introduction? The video talks about reducing cost for airlines, efficiency, reduced maintenance but, nothing about increased safety. I will never place a toe on any ATR family aircraft because it may be used to identify my body if I did and I have nasty toes.
You couldn’t have gotten a few more people who could both remember lines and muster some enthusiasm? Only Stephen speaks like he cares and doesn’t look like he’s reading blindly off a teleprompter.
GREETINGS FROM The United States i hope that The US Airlines American Airlines United Airlines Delta Airlines and other us carrier can purchase the ATR EVO to add it in their fleet!
So the engines are hybrid as in the fuel types they can use not being partially electric like in cars? I think it's a great idea getting rid of the boots.
As long as you make it more maintenance friendlier than the 42 and 72 im all for ita. When it take 10 hours to open the fuel panel, when it would take only 30 minutes to do the same job on a dash 8 or any other plane, ugh
The biggest improvement: switching to eight-bladed propeller spinners. This allows for slower propeller speed for the same performance, which means less noise and lower fuel burn per passenger.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time flying ATR, it's a great aircraft that is unbeatable for short segments. Now I understand the political need to try to apeace the environmental mob, but if you want to sell more aircraft, just tell airlines that by burning less fuel, they can be more profitable. Now that sells. Since it's still early enough in development, I always thought that the design needs landing spoilers, invaluable in a strong crosswind to keep the wings level. We all know that crosswind landings aren't the best feature of ATR aircraft due to the narrow main landing gear. Thanks.
Woah, 8 blades! Now that looks cool indeed. Looking forward for more improvement for the long-successful ATR turboprops!

Can’t wait to fly 📣
Very nice to fly! I like ATR's!
Any new benefits added for passenger experience/comfort? Like noise reduction, larger windows etc? Also excited to see the cockpit and new avionics.
Pretty sure noise reduction will be there, it's kind of a standard for new aircraft isn't it?
NEVER ! I was a Cabin Crew of ATR. Sounds like hell and cabin is hot as hell. This is the worst part of ATR. Freaking hot in cabin
I’ve always only had 1 concern when flying. Take off and land safely. Wait…that’s two things.

What will be range same as current ATR or will be Increased ?
Looks like it has same fuel tanks as ATR 72-600.With 20% fuel consumption reduction, logically that range should increase by 20%.
