"I don't like going inside grocery stores?" My good man, you have like two dozen videos proving otherwise.
🤣🤣🤣😂..
He's never out of 7-11
38
7-11 is not really a grocery store, it's more like of a convenient store. It's a different thing
What I like most about Mikey Chen is his honesty. He says it as it is, if the food sucks he'll say it sucks.
He tries not to with small businesses, but yeah with big places and franchises he has no problem being honest
He is actually too lenient most of the time. If he has any reservations at all about a dish, you can be sure that it is terrible.
hes honest only when its from big corps. dont see the honesty tbh
I love how Mike Chen always finds something positive to say about what he's eating, yet still stays honest in his overall review!
I bet, if Dolly Parton knew some of that food wasn’t good or fresh, she probably would fix it❣️😊
I 100% agree with this
"Mystery meat crunch" is not a phrase I'd have ever thought would be a compliment... and yet Mikey makes it sound delicious LOL
Dollywood is my home park!!! It’s so amazing, and I love seeing people from all over the country coming now. It’s grown so much over the last few years
People are over Disney's divisive and perverted antics! Go to Dollywood instead!
I’ve been seeing ALOT of Disney people the last few times I’ve been there! This year actually I met a really nice family who said they actually enjoyed Dollywood and the smokies WAY better than Disney now, and it doesn’t require taking out a loan to enjoy it
The prices of the hotels really reflect the influx of tourists unfortunately lol. It used to be the cheaper option than going to the beach but now it costs about the same.
First time hearing it from someone from the west coast. Gotta check it out!
After watching Mike travel all over the world and try all kinds of cuisines, it was super fun watching him try some foods I grew up with for the first time! Pro tip, Mike, pimento cheese on the fried green tomatoes is a game changer.
Ms Parton makes sure her people are taken care of. That gives the park down and up loyalty.
You gotta go to more Southern Soul food places. I'm pretty sure that theme park is doing very basic versions of Southern Food
Mike, if that fried bologna sandwich had a homegrown summer tomato on it, that would’ve elevated it to 100 out of 10! It makes all the difference in the world! Plus, it should’ve been on either white bread or toast. 😋
Agree
I was fixing to comment on that ! Fried bologna on a Texas Toast.
We always had it on white bread.
Pimento cheese was the "sauce". I've had it twice and it was delicious. Dollywood is the best!
Definitely needed to have a melted slice of mozzarella cheese!
One of my favourite dishes I've ever had was at Elizabeth's in New Orleans. They did something called Eggs Redneck which was like eggs benedict but with country ham for the meat and a base of fried green tomatoes instead of the english muffin. Truly an enlightened combination.
Holy crap that sounds delicious
Is it just me, or does it seems like everytime he has Korean bbq, he says he hasn't had it in a while? 😂
I suspect his definition of awhile is like…Two days? Maybe a week?
he loves it so much even a couple of weeks feels like a while
A while.. depends on how long you intend to live. With all that meat intake.. hmmm
Love fried green tomatoes! Also bologna is the underrated spam substitute. When its fried, chefs kiss! ❤❤❤👌
Can't believe I've eaten fried green tomatoes, and Mike hasn't ever. First time I've had something he's never tried before!🤗
I'm so excited my town is finally getting a Korean BBQ joint. I saw the sign and all I thought of was Mikey. I can't wait to try them out.
i like how he still tries to salvage the food and how it often leads to some pretty unique ideas
You should've tried their sausage with peppers and onions and turkey legs! So good
Mike you looking 'healthy'! 😂
That peach cobbler looked like the best part of the meal!
That whipped cream!
Dam that hair cut tho 😂😂😁😁
First day of 3rd grade cut 🤣🤣
Anyone else lose their mind seeing the way he holds and displays any sandwich/burger?
GRRRRRRRR!
Amusement park food is always a crap shoot, because it's inevitable that some things are better than others. You gotta love Dolly Parton, though, because she's a class act and an American musical icon. Korean BBQ is always a good way to start or cap off your day, too!
No joke I think I walked by and saw you for a split second, (I’m mad at myself for not saying hi lol) I work there and it was the end of my shift. I’m so glad you stopped by!
Love that you got to stop by the ATL. You could spend a month on Buford Highway alone.
Look how this barber massacred my boy
That's cause it's a poor quality glue on toupee lmao
I’ve always wanted to go to Dollywood looks like a lot of fun 🤩
The whole area is beautiful. Especially when I was a kid.
Lord have mercy 9.99 for a bologna sandwich😭 You could buy your own loaf of bread and deli cut bologna for that.
Absolutely love Dollywood. Aunt Granny was amazing when we went. The price was great 4 adults and 4 kids $175...Glad you got some rides in.
Those cinnamon buns looked good! 🤤 Hope you both had a fun time! The Rachel and Joey joke.. 🤣👍
I see Mikey Chen new vlog notification. I click. Eating bfst while enjoying Mikey share his delicious food adventures. Thank you Mikey for bringing smiles to our faces after a long day or just watching while eating. Appreciate you tons from your fans, subscribers ❤😄
Maybe that means yet that week! Lol
Fried green tomatoes with ranch dressing is very good together.
I love the honesty from Mikey!!
We ALWAYS make fried bologna sandwiches to close out our family BBQs. Around 8 or 9 pm, last call goes out and the bologna goes on the grill. We put it on potato rolls with mustard and grilled onions. DELICIOUS!
Oh my goodness I would like to go to your family BBQ I love a last call meal!
I’m from the South and love fried green tomatoes…it’s all southern cooking
“It’s definitely hot and savory outside.” 😂 Yes, yes it is
I love Dollywood!! Only been once back in high school like a decade ago! But I’ve been dying to go back!!! HUGE Dolly fan🦋 I’m planning a trip for next year hopefully!💛
Owner sees Mikey Chen come in.,... walks into kitchen:
Good news! Mike Chen is here, we will be FAMOUS and have many customers
Bad news! Mike Chen is here and its all you can eat... call our suppliers for an EMERGENCY ORDER!
Hey Mr. & Ms. Chen. I always enjoy your content.
It always amazes me how much food you can eat Mike when I watch one of your videos.
I always enjoy watching your adventures. Thanks
Mike, That commercialized cafeteria food at Dollywood can’t hold a candle to all that good Asian food you’re used to eating.
Did ya'll hear me yelling at about 3 min in when Mike walked right past that Dollywood fudge? I've never felt food regret on behalf of someone else before.
Mike as always enjoy your videos. My grandma always fried chicken in an iron skillet (not deep fried) and after turning once she would put the lid on for about 12 minutes then take it off to crisp up the skin/coating. We always bought smaller whole chicken and disjointed it ourselves and soaked in buttermilk with seasonings over night. Every part was used including the neck, back and giblets. Wish I could make you and Christine some!
He really came here and tried everything we normally eat🤣🤣
I was just thinking that. I wish he would go try all our everyday foods in real yum restaurants instead of amusement parks.
So glad you both had fun .
You should visit Loveless Cafe outside Nashville by the Natchez Trace. They have awesome food including the best Fried Green Tomatoes. And don't forget the world renowned biscuits!
I love going to pigeon forge, Dollywood so much fun. My favorite thing was the dipping dots and funnel cake.
Food looks delish another amazing video Mikey 🥰🥰🥰
Love Pigeon Forge, celebrated our honey moon in the mountains right next to Dollywood
I could live off of fried green tomatoes. A plate of that, some collard greens, pecan crusted chicken with honey butter and some skillet cornbread is my favorite dinner!
Missed this one. I went to Dollywood when I was 16 so 30 years ago. We saw Crystal Gayle and Eddie Rabbit in concert too. We stayed at a Motel that had cabins..bc there were 10 of us. Best time ever.!
Uploads left and right from you, I love it.
My man. I spent a lot of time as a child and teenager at Dollywood with my family. I loved the place. So many good memories!
Hey Mike hope you enjoyed DollyWood!! It’s funny to see people visit what’s in your backyard!
I never heard of Dollywood before. Thanks for introducing it to me
Everything look great I love how you are truthful about what you are eating!some other channel's say everything is good t
I love Dollywood! I had the BEST fajitas and chocolate ice cream of my life there!
I remember going to Dollywood before it was called Dollywood. It used to be called Silver Dollar City before Dolly Parton bought it.
Was anyone else reading every single sign Mikey passed by in Dolly Parton's voice? 😅
Hey Mike/Christine. Hope the day is going well... It's the chicken for me... Yum, 😋 Enjoy you'll. Everything looks good... 😋🐞🥰❤️
You are taking me back to my childhood with the fried bologna sandwich, never with a hamburger bun, always with white bread and lots of mayo.
I think this is my new favorite video on RUclips one of my favorite RUclipsrs going to a place so close to home and to also learn you came to Knoxville is so cool keep up the awesome vids and the good eating- Love from Knoxville
Fried green tomatoes and fried bologna sandwich! Yum! You are speaking my language! Thanks Mike!
If Mikey Chen was an x-men, his superpower would be being able to taste things with his eyes. His predictions on how things will taste merely by looking at them are almost always correct.
Ive been following your videos for many years, can't believe you visited so close to my home !!!! Dollywood is a place I never visited. When you live and work here, not much time for play. Now that im a shut-in and disabled .....I can only visit virtually. Still glad to know you were here :) Big fan, love you
As early as possible and I hope you read this. You NEED to try Kumru. Turkish sandwich. Make sure you have ketchup, mayonnaise and peppers as condiments for preferred bites.
Always love your videos MIKE
keep it up and stay healthy
Me from Singapore 🇸🇬
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have, always wanted to go to Dollywood. Thank you for this awesome video💗💗💗
I miss Dollywood so much. Soaring Eagle is my favorite ride. They have great vegetarian options all over. It’s just nice to walk around. So glad you got the cinnamon bread before heading out.
I would love to go to Dollywood one day. 👍😊👏 We used to fry bologna when we were younger…with eggs for breakfast if we didn’t have ham. It was alot cheaper than ham. That meatloaf sandwich looked delicious. That’s what I do with leftover meatloaf. 👍😊👏
I haven't been to dollywood since it first opened and there was only a couple rides lol. We are headed to pigeon forge in a few weeks. I can't wait!! We love it there go every year. Those foods are exactly what I had at granny's house. Especially the fried green tomatoes!
So awesome! I’m going to Dollywood in the fall!
My mammow in Mississippi would be proud of you for eating all those good southern meals.
Fried Bologna Sandwich for $10 is criminal
Next time in Atlanta you should check out Heirloom Market BBQ. It is both Korean and BBQ, but it is not Korean BBQ. It is a married couple. He is from Texas and cooks the meat like you would expect in Texas. She is from Korea and makes the sauce using Korean flavors. They serve it with Korean style banchan pickles instead of the usual dill pickle slices. It is so good.
One of my favorite theme parks ever!!
Awesome!! Going there next week!! Looking forward to eating what you recommend!
Compared to theme park food I have encountered in the UK that looked AMAZING !
I was thinking, if he wants disappointment, he should try a theme park in the uk 😂 as he only visits london, the easiest for him to try would be thorpe park
@@milkonbean yep, Thorpe Park or Chessington, equally disappointing right!!
Fried green tomatoes are amazing!!! I love them
Dollywood definitely didn't know Mikey was coming, or they would have served him 120% quality food. 11:34 Prices: Remember, it's Appalachia. 18:00 Again, Appalachia. They're glad to have jobs.
If you got the money to spend all over the pigeon forge area they could care less who you are
I'm a little late, but the owners of Thrill also run KPOP BBQ in north Atlanta, which is way cheaper at like $28 a person and just as good. The owners are also awesome every time I've met them.
Mike Chen never fails to make my belly growling my mouth watering and myself craving for FRIED CHICKEN oh yeaaah it's a great buffet in Dollywood
Mikey is getting a little tubby now his extravagant eating is catching up with him I think.
Yummmm
All of that food at Dollywood looked unseasoned 😭😂
All that food looked horrible and overpriced
Thanks for a new video to eat my breakfast to
I went there during spring. It was worth getting the food pass to do a tasting. If you do it with more then yourself you can taste more by sharing. They give you a big portions.
I wish I had this type of Big Mike Energy!!!
I’m from the south and that peach desert is actually “Peach Crumble “, peach cobbler is made with a dough similar to biscuits but not as thick and has butter drizzled on it and corse sugar crystals
You're in my neck of the woods!! This is awesome to see you eat where I've eaten l. Also, I was raised on fried bologna sandwiches lol. Except we added mayo and cheese😋
I totally wish you could taste my garden fresh FGT! Love your videos!
Fried green tomatoes are freaking amazing! 😋
I am a manager at thrill, Glad you came to visit us!!!
Awesome video great footage 👍🏿 👏🏾
16:02 thats why I love Mike
Love your truthfulness
Knoxville, my hometown! Go Vols!
🧡🤍🧡🤍
We have passes and go a few times a year. We just love it!!
Yo man, I really love how enthusiastic you are about food while also being able to give an unbiased opinion. It's been great watching the show mature, you remind me of a G-rated Bourdain.
Thrill Korean Steak and Bar is my go-to Korean BBQ place in Atlanta!! So glad you liked it I immediately recognized the place when you walked up to it lol
