I been a Bengals fan since 1969....the owner ship is doing way better the last few years...i am happy with what they are doing....I don't like all the negative comments....but everyone is entitled to their opinion
Compatibility is crucial for the Bengals this season. We need to start strong and avoid the missteps that have plagued us in the past. Bringing in coaches who seamlessly integrate with our system and focus on developing our talent will be the key to building a stronger, more cohesive team.
The most important point you made there was the position coaches being able to develop the later picks and free agents into serviceable players and make sure you get the most out of the premium players. Sometimes I think Bengals fans want to sign every better player to a nice big contract, but the reality is with Joe's contract, Chase's new extension and hopefully Tee's new deal you just have to sometimes get by with guys who are "good enough".
weve been asking for change in one way or another all season. Some fans just cant be happy. Until we see it on the field all we can do is speculate. i perfer to speculate in a positive light, i wish that were contagious haha.
This is how I feel. This time around, I'm hoping that Zac is actually making the decisions and getting what he feels is the right pick. If it fails, well I think most of us felt this is Zac's swansong to get it right.
If Peters can come in and get the o line to play mean and tough then it will be a great hire. As with all position coaches most of us don't know squat about anybody other than the ones we have on the Bengals staff. Time will tell, Who Dey.
The second people realize talent is 90% of the reason for winning games the faster we will get somewhere. Coaching is so overrated. Front office is always to blame.
Im kind of getting annoyed with all the whining. This is a good hire for what they're trying to do. Same with the o-line coach. Just get them to play slightly above avg and it's an easy ring. Obviously the goal is for them to be great in all aspects but, its not really required. With that expectation off the table, it actually makes it easier to play. So being avg should be a breeze.
OC Line has to get much better to protect Burrow. Needed a change. I am not holding last nights game against Golden. Ohio State has an offense that is like a pro offense. Unstoppable!
Scott Peters may not be too bad if he fits the offense what a OT line coach they're looking for, have to support him and give him a chance and see what happens, I don't think it's a bad hire. Who dey Bengals!
its a cincy fan thing. gotta be the most fickle fans in sports. during the Dalton years they couldnt sell out a home playoff game. its part of rooting for bengals just like the front office is. just enjoy it all. If it wasnt for the brown family wed have no team at all. hope mike gets to witness a sb win in his lifetime
Interesting! I find it surprising that Al Golden would downgrade in both pay and prestige going from Notre Dame to the Bengals! I think Golden has his priorities wrong leaving a great situation at Notre Dame!
Cause the goal is to become an NFL head coach someday. Odds increase if you're a good NFL coach. Can't be a good coach in the NFL, if you don't take an NFL job. See how that works.
@@joshuakleiman1040 I disagree! Who's goal, depends on the person! The NFL isn't what it used to be! Notre Dame is Notre Dame! Sabin and other great coaches choose college over pros! Even the great Bill Bilicheck choose college over coaching in the NFL! It Depends on your preference! NFL is garbage anymore! I prefer college football! Also, Don't forget Golden left the NFL to come to Notre Dame! There is a big chance thinks don't work out in the NFL for Golden and then he is left out in the cold and won't get a job like Notre Dame again! Just saying, I don't agree with the decision, but to each their own!
If this guy can get Wilson, Pratt, and Hubbard among others back to being as good as they were during his time as LB coach, then I am all for it. The LBs in general have dropped off a lot since Golden left.
As far as the praise for Scott Peters, i really would prefer to hear what guys say about him who aren't already tied to the Bengals. I don't want homer bias
Not official till theres a co signature of someone with last name of Brown or Blackburn. Still skeptical they are going to match Father Flanagans signature
Whenever a guy says... is he going to be a good coach I don't know? that's a very very very very very very bad statement you have Joe burrow on this team you need to win now you need to find the modern-day Buddy Ryan's to Mike ditka's the guys who can make you win now
We have every right to question hires by a front office that is cheap and regularly keeps coaches who underachieve. We have a short window to win with the talent we have. So tbh we’d prefer someone with a track record of success on the NFL level
the zac- lou thing worked early on, so did the zac- pollack thing. but it didnt seem to be sustainable. if a younger more ‘hip’ guy from the same coaching tree as lou, and a younger’ hip’ guy from the same coaching tree as pollack can make it work smoothly instead of forcing it so much im all for it- don’t forget they arent that far removed from a super bowl! that being said if they brought in belichick and zimmer and kept pollack and screamed and beat the guys into excellence, id be for that too.
Patrick Graham has a much better Pro track record than Golden. The Raiders consistently overachieved with Graham as DC. Golden is a known face to the front office though, so we’re stuck with Golden.
James, I didn’t think you were that stupid. You actually believe that it was ND’a defense that really held the Buckeyes? I know you have a job to do but Al is a man defensive coordinator and that will not work. You need to watch what the Buckeyes did last night when they weren’t playing conservative because they had a 31-7 lead. Come on man, quit kidding yourself. If we had awesome cornerbacks, that might work, but we don’t. If they take Al, I will just wait for Joe to leave and he will because he wants to win. They will be lucky to win 8 games next year, the offense will have to score 42 points every game and that’s not what we want to bank on. Lou is a way better DC than Al, I am praying we don’t take him. If we do, I hope people boycott this owner!
Zac Taylor is hiring his last coordinators because this upcoming season will be another disappointment. Why even get rid of them to replace them with Kroger brand coordinators.
TBF THE Ohio State university had a massive talent advantage. I liked a ton of his defense schemes, he didnt get complacent, was willing to gamble and play it conservative on defense.
But he knows the team! And they talked to a whole 2 other guys! One of whom was actually a real candidate. Look, with the Bengals legendary success over the years, you simply have to keep it in the family, wouldn't want to bring somebody in without some kind of nepotistic incestuous connection
So you're saying... He was beat by the best most talented roster in all of college football? No one would have beat that team.. Outside Michigan 😂Michigan just has Day's number
'Compatibility', LOL! There is no Bengal fan watching the team that doesn't already know with any Football sense what the problem is. Taylor is a terrible Head Coach. The entire reason for the destruction of the Bengals players and play is Taylor. I realize the brass and owner do just about everything wrong. The owners have always been terrible for the Team. But every other coach has somehow been able to hold a team somewhat together. Taylor set out to dismantle a Superbowl team. There's no other reasoning.
I been a Bengals fan since 1969....the owner ship is doing way better the last few years...i am happy with what they are doing....I don't like all the negative comments....but everyone is entitled to their opinion
Facts tho 💯
I too am a fan of the latest leadership. We are in a good position should be optimistic.
Are you gonna be happy when tee Higgins leaves in free agency?

This guy has worked with Jim McNally and Callahan. These are 2 of the best. I am happy.
It doesn’t matter who the Bengals select, the positives and negatives will still be discussed ❤🏈
Im optimistic about Golden. Honwstly a top 18 defense would be an ENORMOUS upgrade. And could get our team to like 12-5
One of my good friend who worked on the Browns staff with Scott Peters had nothing but amazing things to say about the guy
I would like them to hire some people who are used to winning
The second people realize talent is 90% of the reason for winning games the faster we will get somewhere. Coaching is so overrated. Front office is always to blame.
Hello from snowy Michigan.
❤🎉❤
They also let OSU truck them in the first half. Reminded me of the bengals honestly

I would love to see a Bills-Commanders Super Bowl rematch. Redskins beat the Bills in the SB 34 years ago.
OC Line has to get much better to protect Burrow. Needed a change. I am not holding last nights game against Golden. Ohio State has an offense that is like a pro offense. Unstoppable!
How many players has he coached that are in the NFL now?
I think Notre Dame was out manned. Ohio State had better players and more of them. The defensive players at ND played their hearts out
ND had that game. They just didn't perform in the clutch.
@@MontrovantisND did not have that game🤣
Ohio State roster definitely cost a lot more money
I like Al Golden. His defense stopped Ostate from doing nothing. They're offense literally did what they wanted.
I think I’m more excited for Peter’s than Golden . Focusing on Joe I think is always #1. He was leading qb with bottom o line . Can’t wait
To your point say it out loud is it better to interview 6 potential coordinators or 2? But I am excited about Peters and what he can bring
Scott Peters may not be too bad if he fits the offense what a OT line coach they're looking for, have to support him and give him a chance and see what happens, I don't think it's a bad hire. Who dey Bengals!
Who dey 🧡🖤🏈🤫💪
Which he won't. We know who runs the offense (and has destroyed it).
@tinmanrobby Bengals had one of the best offenses in the NFL last year
@tinmanrobby The Bengals had one of the best offenses in the NFL this year, in scoring and yards, Joe Burrow, Ja mar Chase had great years.
Al makes more at ND then 90% of nfl DC.

I like Golden for DC as a coach, I like the fit, I REALLY dislike the process.
Who dey go Bengals 🧡🖤🏈🤫💪
we don't have time to say "we gotta get better". We must be our best, the first game and the rest of the season.
If this guy can get Wilson, Pratt, and Hubbard among others back to being as good as they were during his time as LB coach, then I am all for it. The LBs in general have dropped off a lot since Golden left.
Hubbard is washed. Too many injuries, no pass rush, time to cut bait.
I would have like to see Eagles asst o line coach T.J. Paganetti
Al Golden won’t move the needle for the team to win a Super Bowl.
Did you just say you don't think Eberflus is better than Golden? Come on man what are we doing....seriously
Woh day
I worked with McNally in 87 88 89 as a Martial Arts guy. Glad to hear. They lack technique. Been saying it but none of you even ask.
As far as the praise for Scott Peters, i really would prefer to hear what guys say about him who aren't already tied to the Bengals. I don't want homer bias

HEY LETS QUESTION EVERYONE. IF EVERYONE DOESN'T HAVE A SUPERBOWL MINDSET WE DIDN'T NEED THEM. WE NEED EVERYONE TO GIVE THERE ELITE EFFORTS
We should get someone who’s ascending not bouncing up down.
James, do you think we should target Tyler Warren (Penn. State) in the Draft, for Tight End? Would you be happy with that?
wasnt he here in 22?
Yes, Scott is gonna be another reason Joe retires or leaves after his contract is up or even earlier
How you lose track of the best player you defending? That don’t sit right with me
Rather have Eberflus

Where is the floor with these hires?
any coach who comes here will hurt their resume
Al Golden is simply not the best option out there. Maybe he "fits" our defense, but I'm just not sold on him as the guy to some in and turn it around.
Taylor isn’t going anywhere until his contract expires.
