15:45 I can attest to this. Pulled up at the gym, looked to my right and saw James looking at his phone. I hadn't looked at social media, so as I was walking into the gym, I was left wondering what Bengals news was breaking. 😂
"Protectors do it with more than just the shield. We do it with the sword." When I read this quote from Peters, I thought it was kind of prescient that Burrow had given his O-line swords for Christmas.
Also, I really hope this choice improves our run game coordination so that Chase Brown can be even better and elevate his game to the next level! We need another running back to replace Zack Moss to complement Chase Brown and our running game!
I've been listening to your stuff since I first heard you on 700wlw and 1530. Your growth is noticeable. You used to just sound like a fan! Now you really know what is going on. I only get my bengal news from you.
You guys and most of your demographic are way too young to remember the Jim McNally oline days. In the 80s the CINCINNATI BENGALS were widely known by EVERYONE to have the best offensive line in football. Our QB had all day to operate and do whatever we wanted. We closed out games by pounding teams with the run and when we got inside the 5 we scored rushing tds. Not bulldozed like recently. Imagine a land far far away when these things were real with our franchise and it all happened under Jim McNally. So....if Jim McNally praises Peters then you should breath easier. I did yearn for the nearest sword when first heard this too...but was ok instantly once saw McNally posts.
Anyone who coached up Michael Jordan to earn money from Robert Kraft has to be a solid oline coach. If Jim McNally likes him EVERYONE on this site should like him
Coached the worst ranked o-line in the league the last 2 years, hasn't stuck anywhere, lacks almost any real good top level NFL experience as a position coach, sounds like another cheap, lazy Bengals' hire like Pollack was (another cast-off). If he proves me wrong, great, but it's more proof Taylor is unable to fill his staff out with real talent or experience. This was a hire they needed to absolutely hit 100% with the right person. Instead we get an inexperienced cast-off coach who has been fired from 2 losing teams. Great job Bengals.
This organization is going to do the same with the Defensive Cordinator job as well. The Bengals don't pay established coaches hell they don't even interview any
@@BengalsTalk if they decide to go with Golden it’s the same kind of move they always make!!! The point is Zac can’t have an established coach because that person would be a threat to take his job!!! Going this route as usual will not make us better!!! Joe Burrow will leave Cincinnati at the end of his contract and why????? This ain’t rocket 🚀 science
I like your show but I think your hoping for hope. These are professional football players how a front line coach is going to change anything you are going to get the same results until the owner hires scouts and changes the way they do contracts and change front office it's just going to be the same old thing.
Come on Bengals organization. Tired of seeing Burrow get smashed all the time. If this is your guy I hope he takes a good look at what's been happening and guts the OL.
I kept saying that Mike Brown and Co. Should have gotten Derrick Henry or Saquon Barkley! It makes no sense that the 2 best running backs in the league were both free agents and they didn't even try to get either one of them! Since they let Mixon go this was the best move to make! They chose Zack Moss over Henry, Saquon and Mixon! All three of them made it to the postseason with new teams! We would have been in the playoffs with any one of the three of them! One of them would have been the difference maker in one of our losses which would have gotten us in the playoffs at 10-7 with no need for assistance from any team to get in the postseason, especially not the Kansas City Creeps!
@@flunder50 They chose not to be even better! Think of how good our running game would be with Chase Brown and one of them! We could have had that one-two punch like the Lions have with Gibbs and Montgomery!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the running game didn't lose games. Defense because of the front office lost us those games not because we didn't get henry or Barkley. If they got a couple defensive lineman that's what would have won games. Stop blaming Zack and the offense
@franklinscott3rd273 You think I don't know that the defense is a big reason why we lost so many games?!!! My point is that if we still had Joe Mix, or if we had acquired Henry or Saquon, then we would have won one of those games despite how our defense played! And we would be in the playoffs!
Why would they.He is probably going to ask for too much money. Also,he has never lived up to his pre draft hype.Just an average DE.They can get a better player at pick 17.Until they dump Hubbard, they don't need another de.
@@bhenry8985I don't mind Chase Young, but those numbers are nothing special. Hubbard in that same time, has 24 sacks and 5 FF and everyone and their mother wants him gone.
Frank pollack didn't do a good job here that's it! I know alot of the bengals media gets connected to these players and coaches but we just got to be honest he wasn't a good oline coach him and Lou have trouble connecting to and developing young players
Can’t lie I’m underwhelmed by this hire. I really wanted Rudolph from ND. But I can say that no one besides Jim Turner can be a worse OL coach than Pollack.
The Bengals went cheap again looking for a bargain salary for a coach. They’re never going to change their ways because they put money ahead of winning and Burrows career could be shortened because of it.
This organization continues to be the poorest run organization in the league. Terrible hire. When is Joe Burrow going to get any kind of decent protection?
How bout you do some extensive research before being a complete Jerk because if you did you’d know the Patriots O-line gave Scott nothing and he brought in Michael McCarthy who has been on some historically great o lines as well.
@@b0ssatr0n91 unfortunately much like every fanbase except for the Queefs, we have a couple cynical sad dudes living in the 90’s Bengals era that think everything sucks because that’s the team THEY saw when their frontal lobe was developing. Fortunately, we have forward thinking fans that are ready to embrace the right kind of change and it’s never easy but mostly the middle aged/ young audience tends to stay optimistic because of our trust in Burrow and the pressure to succeed. Why would bengals waste Joe burrows careers by these hit or miss decision and not go for somebody who is proven at their position ? Is it because they don’t want to spend money ? Or nobody is willling to come here because of the organization reputation ?

They need some athletes at guard.
Both of their guards, and center.Rated near the bottom of the league.According to PFF ratings. So really, they need two guards, and a center.
We need to get Jack Sawyer from the Bucks!

Do you guys believe that we have the personnel on the o line for coach peters to be successful?
Is Trent Brown returning?
How about a new head coach!
