Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the more flamboyant & wilder rock & roll singers of the time in the 50's-60's. He was nicknamed "The Killer". His piano playing & showmanship were legendary. He had a lot of hits such as "Breathless", "Wild One", "High School Confidential", "What'd I Say", "Another Place, Another Time" etc. His career faltered for a time when he married his 13-year-old cousin.

Jerry Lee Lewis was Elvis' 2nd cousin. His personal life was a bit of a train wreck, but when it came to music he was gifted. And that's why we are here, the music, and Jerry was the consummate musician, a very active piano player, and he would sing and play the hell out of a song. This is a very tame performance!

Unfortunately passed away October 28th, last year. Born in Sept 1935.. He was 87.
Dude has been around forever, and was around a bunch of legends in the 50's. Like Elvis and Johnny Cash.. He and Elvis roles were casted in the Johnny Cash movie called "Walk the Line".
You can see an older Jerry Lee Lewis featured in the Johnny Cash music video "God's Gonna Cut You Down", that was made after Johnny's passing.. Lots of stars in that video.
