Doc Quandary yeah I heard from a different tuner that is was difficult to tune but that was a while ago. Lund seems pretty damn capable seeing as how my drivability is spot on. I might buy one down the road.

It would be awesome to see a stock dyno vs the ford power pack 3 with fords tune then swap tunes to something like Lund or PBD and run again. See what they can do compared to the ford tune. Also swap filter out or just swap the CAI.

Question why do prefer vmp or Lund over bama tune? I have a bama tuner but I'm just wondering what the difference is. Please don't beat me up in the comments it's just a question, thanks.
Bama is fine but they have a reputation of being very "canned." VMP and Lund have a better reputation with better, more aggressive tunes. Its really a matter of preference...Some tunes are more daily driver friendly (like the Steeda tune I have been running for almost 2 years), whereas others are for people who don't care about drivability and just want insanely sharp throttle response.
Where did you buy the bolts so the manifold can seat right? And when you mean by stock throttle body with blowfish do you mean off of regular stock 15 throttle body or gt350 throttle body? And do you prefer to port both manifold and TB? doing same set up. Thanks great vids

Hey I am installing the Paxton Supercharger as we speak changing out the OPG and crank sprocket going to put in the GT350 intake manifold it looks like there is a zip tie in the back but I am not sure how all that works not doing the MMR lockout can you help me with this please if you have a video link are some kind of instructions what I need to do where I need the zip tie I really appreciate it for your help thanks
Only if you use a Paxton or Vortex, centrifugal supercharger. The 'blower' type superchargers, Roush, Ford,TVM, etc. - replace the intake manifold. Meaning you would need to take off the GT350 manifold if you later want to install a supercharger.

Tyler Wallace it's the same block dimensions and same head except the 5.2 heads are much better flowing than out standard 5.0 heads. You have to adjust the wires a tad and reroute the vacuum lines but it's a straightforward install.
Yes stock injectors. 47LB injectors are suggested when using E85 with the 350 Intake Manifold when Cats are equipped in order to properly fuel the car when it goes into cat protection (dumps fuels to protect cats and cool them down).
my friend has an actual gt350r and just got it whipple supercharged. can i take his intake manifold literally off of his car and put it on mine? or are the "gt350 intake manifolds" that people put on their coyotes specially designed to fit coyotes? he'll give his intake manifold to me for free, so it would be a killer deal if i can just slap it on and get tuned.
When you mentioned in your vid that you needed to purchase different screws because the old one wouldnt work,.. Where do you get them. The best solution is to take the manifold to Ace hardware. If the manifold is already on the car then message @justthequadtip on IG he might know what you need
+Michell Lopez that's a tough question. The longtubes will add 5-15rwhp while the manifold is good for 10-30 rwhp depending on if it is paired with longtubes or not. If you want sound, power, and don't mind installing yourself I would say headers. If you need someone else to install the headers the manifold will be the cheaper way to go

I just ordered the gt350 throttle body, and I got the Blowfish adapter unit that’s used to install it to the stock manifold.. however, I’ve decided to get the 350 manifold and do it all at once.. so do I still need to use the blowfish adapter? If not, is it still an option for me to use it, and have it act as a spacer? Thank you so much.
Hey Guys, Hoping you could give me some insight. I have a 2017 GT with a Borla ATAK and am looking to do the PP3 from Ford Racing. (Throttle Body, Intake Manifold, Tune, CAI) Was wondering if you knew anything about how hard the splicing was or if its worth it. I want to keep my warranty and definitely want that pack question is can I do it myself with buddies or take it to a shop.
It is very easy to install. And no splicing required. The ford power pack is however very expensive for the gains. You can get the parts by themselves for less with a custom tune and make more power.

Believe it or not the Intake Manifold is actually not very hard to install. If you have every pulled a intake manifold on an engine it really isn't that bad. - unplug everything unbolt the intake and remove and then reinstall new manifold.
yea I've done all work on my car myself cai,headers/exhaust it was time consuming but simple. Main reason im scared with the manifold I heard you have to splice wires and re route some wires which im scared about tbh im scared ill fuck a wire up lol. Plus im not sure how much of a hp gain I would gain from it. Its either get gt350 mani or put that 1k+towards a VMP supercharger.

I'm confused to, I just installed mine, I hooked mine up the same way you have it with out knowing, but after looking at a stock gt350 they have it a different way so I tried switching and saw no difference in the running so I'm not sure which way is 100% but it seems to work either way
I'm not 100% sure but I think that you see no gains with the gt350 throttle body bolted on to a stock 5.0 manifold, but I don't that's the case with the gt350 manifold.
+Juan Ceja In testing the gain is almost not noticeable and the GT350 TB is actually quite difficult to tune at times too. Much easier to stick with the stock TB and use an adaptor plate to make the two compatible

No issues with my 350 Throttle Body at all. I've got the 350 Mani, 350 Throttle Body and JLT intake with Lund tune. Drivability is dope.....

You guys should really put a cobra jet on your s550s. I know you need to drop the motor a bit but it's apparently much better then the gt350
George Marris with the 350 I didn't lose any low end tq but gain quite a bit up top so for me it's a great compromise.
Even better gains on a GT350... Ford has the Voodoo Aluminator Motor with the CJ 575 HP 460 Torque

I believe you were supposed to to cap the top and ran the brake booster vacum hose to the bottom not the other way around.

GT_CoyoteS550 no wire splicing involved at all. You just do not reuse the clips on the back of the manifold to allow he wires to reach the Irmc.
that doesn't sound too bad I know I have to buy adapter for stock tb also then get a re tune I might just save my $ put it towards the Supercharger
compared to an old 5.0 where you had to deal with sealing coolant crossovers, this is cake.

The engine can rev higher afterwards and it makes more power.

The cover does not fit on but some have modified the cover and made studs to put it back on.

It does but the IMRCs are not functional. A Cobra Jet works well on 11-14.

The tuner is married to Brian's car. You simply send your serial number to lund and mods of your car and they will send a tune for your tuner and car.

It doesn't work as well in 14 down because they cannot operate the irmc's.
