Mushroom Liquid Culture Comparison: Difference in Physical Characteristics

One thing that i have learned in the past few years of growing mushrooms is that not all species of mushrooms produce a perfectly white color mycelium and most beginners in cultivation may think a culture is contaminated when it is actually normal. So i thought it would be a good idea to make a quick video showcasing some of the differences between a few species.
I have found it important to use the magnetic stir bar in the liquid culture and stir every couple days to prevent the thick pellicle from growing on the surface of the liquid culture because thick pieces of mycelium are more difficult to suck up into a syringe. Once the liquid culture jar is full, storing in the refrigerator will help slow down the thick growth but will still need to be stirred at least once a week.
