    Made this shawl many times and gave them away as prayer shawls, but was never happy with the way the beginning and end parts looked. Watched your video and LOVE your tutorial much more. The beginning and end of the shawl look so much cleaner! Thank you for sharing!

    Not only is this a beautiful shawl, but your video is clearly done, in focus, and due to this, I FINALLY got the kfb stitch. I could get the knit in front, then knit in back, but so many videos by others didn't really show how to finish the stitch, as they were not working the stitch at the end of a row. Thank you! When I get my monthly retirement, I am SO going to buy you a Kofi!! Now, to get a shawl done to mail to daughter for Christmas ❤

      There is no decrease in this shawl, the cast off makes one side of the triangle.

    • @cherieuk4488
      @cherieuk4488 10 месяцев назад

      Every 2 rows you have increased 2 at one end and decreased 1 at the other end which gives an overall effect of asymmetry ( the whole thing leans to the right) whilst getting gradually wider. You increase and decrease on the one row and then just increase at the end of the second row. You just keep doing that until you cast off.

    • @SnufflebeanYarn
      @SnufflebeanYarn  Год назад

      Hi!
      Row 1 & 3 are identical, the only reason the written pattern is worded differently was to make the written explanation of the cast off work better.
      Essentially you do repeat rows 1 & 2, but in written form (written after I filmed) it made it more difficult for me to explain the cast off clearly so I tweaked the written pattern. I’m so sorry if it confused you.
