Very good summary on forensic accounting profession. I have more than 20 years experience and I can tell you that you never get bored. I have started by channel on similar topic that I hope will add more value to young professionals to understand various aspects of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examiner profession.

I’m in middle school and really want to pursue this career. I love forensics but the other jobs pay so little but forensics accounting pays so much! I really would like to study while I’m young. I always worry about what I’ll be in the future. At first I wanted to become an anesthesiologist as all my family is in the medical field but then I was studying about it and saw it took 12 years old stuff for it! Hell no.

learning accounting and mathematics is a PAIN, especially if you want to reach higher level positions because you need to continue your education. My advice is dont necessarily go into a career for the money. I have seen sooooo many ppl in college drop out or suffer through college because accounting is difficult. If it is something you truly like and want to learn it wont be as much of a drag to do it.

@@keylagarcia9609 interesting you say that, from what I heard, accounting is just arithmetic. Is this wrong?

Some people are less numerically inclined I think. I always sucked at math. Everything language based I was automatically good at. I think being bad at math will really hold you back from working in a lot of fields it's probably the most important subject of all tbh

Why are you literally me but in middle school rn. I literally started college wanting to be an anesthesiologist.. took a few nursing classes then I switched to a business degree and I would love to go back to forensics but they don’t make that much.

The thing is that the really good accountants work on the other side (the illegal side) MUCH MUCH MORE MONEY

Because working at the other side got the risk of not gonna be able to earn anymore money in the rest of the life? While forensic accountants can be a lifetime career.
