Assalamualaikum! I'm writing this because I want to clearify something: In the [Grey area] part, what I meant by 'shirk in fiction' was that if the fictional story depicts a jew or a christian praying, or if the fictional world has it's own religion that's only mentioned in passing, then yeah, whatever, but if the piece is totally based on mythical gods, and that's just what the story is about, something like 'God of war', then as a Muslim, you should definitely avoid that: "He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah’s revelations being denied or ridiculed, then do not sit in that company unless they engage in a different topic, or else you will be like them. Surely Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers all together in Hell." [4:140]

So if they make a book or movie about insulting your family, you wouldn't take it seriously? But is OK to read shirk and kufr where creatures are given the attributes of Allah? Just cuz is fiction right?
@@keephumble1 Smth like that won't happen bud. Stop seeing wet dreams...... And stop taking things way to seriously, go and pray 5 times a day and have your own life instead
@SuleimanTheMagnificent71618 I look at the devilish movies coming out nowadays. Literally practicing black magic in it. If you saw a Muslim watching this, and being entertained by this, would u tell him to stop or would u just say, "nah he ain't taking it serious"?
@@SuleimanTheMagnificent71618if a movie has shirk in it, would u be comfortable watching it, Don't forget what almost happened when the people first said "the most merciful has taken a son"
I respect your opinion. I personally feel like when being a believer, we should focus on the bigger picture, and not insignificant things like literature, because in the end, it has more benefit than things like Tiktok, dramas and social media, which is actually harming people's faith.
@@eternity1937 Literature can be a lot of fun. The opinion you hold now, while it is the correct opinion, is the kind of opinion one only has when they don’t read a lot of books and therefore don’t know what they’re missing

My heart pounds so hard at the start of the video. For me, reading is my personal hobby, and I'm having conflicted feelings regarding this. I'm afraid if I read too much might harm my iman. Though it is very true that reading helps me with my knowledge in language and other things. I'm so frustrated with myself. I'm not only into reading but also drawing. Please pray for me brothers and sisters, I want to get out of this insanity loop.
@@SaadtheMuzlim of course! I'd definitely recommend a novel called Letters to God series to anyone who's into reading. It's super comforting actually :)
@@LostShamenWhat on earth are you doing on an Islamic channel, learning about Islam? Are you trying to find people specifically to turn them away from the path of Allah?
I’d say read what you want, in moderation. I like to read Ancient Greek myths. A lot of them are wonderfully crafted. They can be some of the best stories to grace this world. I think “wow that’s cool. Sucks that it’s not real. Anyway back to reading the Words Of Allah”
But in my opinion, most fiction stories nowadays are filled with haram even if the main plot is not haram. For example, featuring women wearing haram clothing and violence or drugs maybe. We need to be careful when navigating the fiction world especially if it is the western companies. May Allah help you and me to be better muslim.
Yea, this video is strictly about fictional stories themselves, not about the medium in which they are presented. Music and showing awrah n' stuff is totally haram!
Yeah, this is a terrible epidemic that has infected our media. It makes me angry when I see a scene in a movie or a show in which two characters committing zina with eachother. I’m inclined to say that such scenes are never necessary to the plot. They can and must be cut out. And I cannot believe that it’s just acceptable to basically watch 🌽 with your family. Whenever I see that kind of scene, I want to turn of the show, turn off the TV, forget about the show, and never look back
@@imranmazzarulli5293 i agree.Wallahi it makes me a bit sad when i see scenes like that in movies that my family watches. This is why i dont usually watch movies from netflix. The western media are trying to normalise zina and watching haram. We muslims are being colonized through our mind. The kafir know they cant defeat us muslims in an actual war so they poison us from the inside out
Wow, ngl. Your presentation is well-thought. As a writer/author myself, I've been pondering about this exact topic. Thank you for your clarification!!!!!

The thing that REALLY scares the jinn out of me is this one verse from sura al Nisa 140 :"وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا" "He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah’s revelations being denied or ridiculed, then do not sit in that company unless they engage in a different topic, or else you will be like them.1 Surely Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers all together in Hell."
Great video brother Although i think the best course of action is to avoid something if its permissibility is debatable. Taking the strictest path may give good deeds for the effort and dedication
It's the legend himself! But yeah, I'm kinda regretting not shunning shirk more. I guess what I meant by 'shirk in fiction' was basically just small mentions christians worshipping jesus or something like that, not the full on God of war type stuff, but yeah, you're right, here the line gets blurry and it's best to stay safe! Jazakallah for the comment, and may Allah forgive us all
I agree with your explanation brother, thank you for the informative video 🎉 My muslim friends constantly tell me to read the Percy Jackson series in which a lot of Greek mythology and Gods (astaghfirullah) are involved, but I always tell them it may weaken my Iman and it may also be harmful for you. I'll send this exact video to them so they can understand my point of view. 👍🏽✨
Yeah It honestly doesn't affect ur iman, unless you feel like it is weakening your iman. Even if there's true God in fiction,it wouldn't matter honestly, and it isn't shirk either. Because True God by definition means true creator of that fictional universe, and it doesn't associate with Allah at all. Unless you create Gods in fiction with the intention to associate Allah,is definitely Haram and shirk.
Aoa! Thank you! You could also send them this verse: "He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah’s revelations being denied or ridiculed, then do not sit in that company unless they engage in a different topic, or else you will be like them. Thank you for Watching! GO LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE RIGHT NOW!!! What topic would you like to see a video on next? I tried to stuff as much as I could into the video, but there’s still a few things that I couldn't discuss for the sake of conciseness: Storytelling is powerful. And, its power can be harnessed for the way of Islam. Currently, the Muslim world is weak and in its weakness, it has lost its literature. Western literature, containing western values that completely go against Islam, has seeped into the Muslim world, be it through the school system, be it through the internet or through social media. This has weakened the average Muslim and has corrupted the Islamic world. Hence, now, more than ever, there is a need for Muslim writers, who create beautiful pieces of literature by combining modern story writing with Islamic values, fulfilling the need of entertainment for the Muslims while also promoting Islamic morals, to rival the western corruption and create a world for the Muslims. So, if you're thinking about becoming a writer, PLEASE DO. WE NEED YOU. STORYWRITING IN THE QURAN, For Muslim writers: On how to produce prose, Surat Yusuf sets an interesting example of how a writer should describe the events in prose. The story of Yusuf and Zulaykha, in which Zulaykha tries to seduce Yusuf, is a story of human weaknesses and the strength to overcome desires. Nevertheless, the Qur’an portrays these weaknesses but does not play and elaborate on them. Similarly, the Qur’an leaves out the details of Zulaykha’s seduction of Yusuf. Rather, the Qur’an relates the events that befell Yusuf that brought on this seduction. This contrasts with some writings of fiction, which dwell on such events so as to titillate the reader and satisfy the craving of the writer and the curiosity of the reader. Still on the story of Yusuf, the Qur’an avoids describing the beauty of Yusuf at length. Rather his beauty is portrayed indirectly through the incident of the women cutting their fingers out of admiration for his beauty, which they described as angelic and not human. This, too, is not to encourage admiration for another human and also to avoid arousing the sensual instincts of the reader. Similarly when describing how Yusuf’s brothers threw him into the well, the Qur’an avoids giving details of how they carried out this evil deed. Similarly, with the story of Adam’s sons, the Qur’an avoids details of how the brother murdered his brother. This example reminds us that we are not allowed and should avoid relating and elaborating on evil doings so as not to encourage others to behave similarly. Jazakallah for reading!
Thank you so much brother for explaining this!!!! I had always this in my mind whether this is haram or not but now with your explanation im clear! Im going to write to my fullest! @@SaadtheMuzlim For topic suggestion, could you explain the ruling on looking at an awrah that is drawn? Whether it is drawn cartoonish, anime-ish, or realistically. I'm still confused if it is a sin looking at art with the character showing her thigh, or a cute chibi anime girl with oversized clothes but with her hair shown. Jazakallāhu Khayran!
Solid video. I expected the usual close-mindedness but this is actually a very balanced and fair take. But, toady we have genres, if its genre is fiction it goes without saying that it's... well, fiction.
I hold the same views as you. Alhamdulillah. And I never knew there were poems or stories with talking animals by Muslim authors lol. That's insightful. Also, let's not forget that our beloved Prophet SAW loved many poems from pre-Islamic Arabia that weren't written by Muslims. So, it's not as if that consuming fiction is totally prohibited for us. Since it's possible those poems had many fictitious elements. But Allah knows best.
Such a great vid, in my spare time I write stories that I may use in my future projects, they're mainly grounded and draw elements from Islamic values and tell moral lessons behind it, this vid helped educate me on it, SubhanAllah. I was just thinking about the other time of anime such as Naruto where the characters do hand signs to do jutsu I used to do it as a kid but I stopped doing it since I found out it came from Buddhism in real life, cool fights and story but not something I would look up to 🤣.
May you become an amazing writer for the Ummah :D If deeds are but by intentions, then what is wrong with one who writes stories, intending thereby to highlight some issues, for the purpose of promoting good morals, and his intention was never to tell lies? Isn’t he, in that case, like a teacher who teaches good manners and guides people to the straight path? End quote from Maqaamaat al-Hareeri, p. 17, 18
Agreed and great video by the way.👍 But I will say that nowadays finding fictional movie, cartoon, anime and etc... is very difficult to find as majority of em contains some type of explicit content(not in form of full nakedness rather with suggestive looks), many many songs and stupid male characters but masculine female characters(I'm not joking, just look at the majority of any genres of fiction), we also tend to think that we are not falling for such fiction and "I don't take it seriously" but the matter of fact is we actually do(you see it's the brain tricking you always). But there's no point bringing such things up if I'm not educated enough but let's just say it's a note we at least must know. Allahumah barik and only Allah knows best.
Aoa! You're definitely right, the majority of stuff out there has that tiny bit of explicit content, just to appeal to that kinda audience. Its really annoying- great pieces of fiction are ruined by that tiny but of content...

everything we imagine is inspired by reality; humans are not capable of creating new concepts we are just merely capable of reimagining it and naming already existing concepts, for example think of a color you have never seen before or smell you have never smelled, taste that you have never tasted, surface you have never felt before, sound you have never heard before you cant do it this is our limitation as humans we are not creators , there is only one creator and he is Allah
Aoa kindly make a video on birthdays in Islam. If we just wish happy birthday to our loved ones, give them gifts just for making them feel special and just not do the blowing over the candles stuff would it be okay ? And how to react when kids tell us it's their birthday like we can't always explain them in detail but kids get upset and especially if their parents teach them that getting wished by people on birthdays is their right. How to handle such situations? People believe it's an element of kindness and a social etiquette that we must wish kids on their birthday.
In pagan times, candles during birthdays were blown out to worhsip the 'moon goddess', and since it's related to pagan tradition, people say that it should be avoided.
Hello there saad, Today I have 4 questions can you answer about, I really stopped doing them because I didn't know if they were haram or no, you can answer me either by reply or video: 1- what about sci-fi? (Science fiction) 2- is watching cartoons haram? 3- is using emojies halal or not, cuz they do have a face, sure drawing facial features are haram indeed, but it's not me who the drew the emojies? 4- Can I imagine humans or animals or fictional creatures in my mind?, I mean it's more like drawing as well but it's my brain? 5- If there was music being played in my mind, is it still haram? Thanks for making such videos with content, jazaka allahu khayran! It's okay, take your time I'm not going to speed up on you ok? Answering these questions will not only help me but help other brothers and sisters in islam inshallah! Also you can either reply me here or answer me in my reply on your comment, both are good!
Aoa! I'll answer the best I can based on my research: 1. Depends on the concepts found within sci-fi. If it's something like a human-cyborg doing something then it's chill. But, there's stuff like divination and raising the dead that would raise some alarms. This all fits into the grey area, some would say it's haram and some would say it's makruh. But, if it starts affecting you or you start believing in it, then it's a total no-go. 2. ruclips.net/video/DPARlBlX5HI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/hONVRZLSSlc/видео.html 3. ruclips.net/video/o3ajbbUkUq0/видео.html 4. NO. Even when you see stuff, it's being 'drawn' in your brain - but seeing isn't haram. A muslim is not held accountable for what he thinks in his mind. 5. Same answer as before. Hope this helps :)

As an indian i follow hanafi school of thought in which there is one really simple but effective ruling on fantasy. Any mythical elements that imitate the superpower type divine attributes of Allah such as ressuruction, and any mythical element that imitate black magic are seriously impermissible to write and disliked to read as long as you don't believe in them. However if it's a video game that contains the haram type of fantasy then both playing and creating it would become impermissable since now you are imitating that not merely reading it. (personal opinion on fiction inspired after getting various hanafi scholarly views it): Regarding fiction, i guess the ruling would apply on the message rather the content. If you show an evil character then it's conclusion or message should not be against Islamic teachings. Such as evil character should be shown as evil. Except don't use this ruling to justify nudity, abusive language and normalisation of shirk in it because these are sins which have same ruling regardless of they are fiction or real. Looking or even reading about nudity is impermissable. So shortly writing stuff that contains evil is impermissible and reading it (if it doens't have nudity and abusive language) is disliked. But would be impermissable to read if you fear you might get influenced from the Wrong doings. 🐋
Hope this video encourage more writers to create interesting stories. One of them includes "The 99" which pure entertainment. Can you make a video on that show separately from an Islamic pov.
I personally think that a world created by Allah is most realistic and sophisticated. Yes, I love fiction as well. But I don't think humans can't replicate the world as good as Allah does. As such there are always plotholes, inconsistensy, confusing and things not adding up in fiction. And the guidelines you mentioned for fiction, how many actually follow that? If we water it down, none.
Aoa! I believe that the guidelines are hard to follow because we mostly consume western entertainment, but if we as an Ummah can create and consume more 'Muslim' fiction, then I believe those guidelines will be really benificial! What do you think?
Storytelling has always been a way to share our lives, our hopes to the ones who will need them further, and will carry it on. I'm a proud muslim, and I'm a writer of fiction, an artist. I see no reason where Allah would forbid these things off his own sons and daughters, whom he himself has blessed to have such minds to evoke tales that can aspire people, and never let go off their hopes, and stay to the things that truly makes and keeps them human.
Go you! If deeds are but by intentions, then what is wrong with one who writes stories, intending thereby to highlight some issues, for the purpose of promoting good morals, and his intention was never to tell lies? @@SaadtheMuzlim thank you, this site looks great for some personal queries, and I do myself want to spread hope and love, as much as I can through storytelling and poetry. ❤️ I love how the verses of Quran, were presented by Allah and if he wanted he could have written it in simple lines, what he wants and what he dosen't, but he chose to reveal them as something of beauty, eloquence, and with a rhythmic structure. For us to keep understanding them, how much more they deeply mean.
I have been wondering this for weeks found this video and some of my doubts became clear, but I have one question can I write a fiction story containing magic and other systems or super beings etc
Bro most of scholars say if it weren't all of them that magic even it has nothing to do with real magic is haram. And for sure Polytheism and disbelief in these stories will affect faith, so it is forbidden.
Aoa! Yeah most scholars say that magic in these shows is haram, that's why I presented the argument in the video. If a scholar presents a better argument, then please follow that.
For Example, by reading Percy Jackson, I gathered the knowledge that A Pantheon of gods only leads to destruction and that if they represent different parts of the Universe, they aren't really gods, more like super-powered man children.
Any form of art is human ..... 0:39, this is the biggest bs I've heard... Art expresses emotions.... If i say im in pain and pain isnt a material, hence its a lie... And so haram.... Idk why the actual duk do muslims try to satisfy their egos going into the most stupid arguments... And it isnt a waste of time and b it isnt a lie.... We as humans need to consume art.. need to make art. That's what keeps us sane... Tf is this. Like go and make a video about Hitler's speeches and stuff relating to islam.. or a more common issue, arrange marriages, force marriages etc.... why love isnt given enough importance in the islamic world

Lying by definition is a statement intended to deceive. Storytelling is overall about sending a message. ( A bit off topic), if seen a Pixar movie you might notice how they write character emotions more subtly but still effectively.
Aoa! Idk😭 It kinda makes sense that the rulings of fiction would apply on games too, but don't quote me on this... I'll be making a video on games soon, after I've done my research, Inshallah!
i wonder the same thing there a many games where there is "gods" who are mortal or defeatable even or such things as Demons like the Persona games where the player fights them and gets them to fight for him against other demons. A clarification would be great because in such fantasy/fiction stories it mostly has some kind of made up faith or mystical beings.
Yeah and another thing is... If you ever see One True God in fictional stories and stuffs Don't worry, because it isn't shirk or whatsoever. You need to know the definition of shirk. Shirk will happen *IF YOUR BELIEF IS DIFFERENT THAN TAWHID* Tawhid is the belief of One and The Only True God,which is Allah. You will commit shirk *IF* 1.Associate our creator Allah with others And believing it. 2.Believing that other gods exists instead of Allah's existence 3.Comparing Allah with others And Shirk is mainly related to *Belief* And so on... If someone let's say, made a fiction and he started to associate Allah with others, making others stronger than Allah, and with all that intention. If he makes the fiction with the intention of shirk, that's purely haram and shirk. If he's mocking Islam in the story. That's purely haram. Hope you guys understand. I've seen many fictional characters having the name God,or True God,which translates to Allah is arabic, still isn't shirk. Because that's just the language btw.
Seriously? No fiction would check halal standards. Right.? Then where is the point to encourage "carefully watch fiction". Even if it contains just 1% haram, this is haram for us to watch.
Aoa! I'm sure there's alot of 'halal' fiction out there, especially the written by Muslim writers. But, even if there isn't, we can't just declare something that's inherently halal as haram: "O believers! Do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors." [Surah Maidah:87]
@@SaadtheMuzlim Brother be careful. what are you doing? Can you afford the consequence in the hereafter if people start watching those fictions you explicitly shown in thumbnail? "Lord of Rings/Harry Potter that contains music, magic is halal"? And now You're misusing ayah. Fear Allah. @@sakibulhasansojib8987 Ay, the novels I used in the thumbnail were just to make the thumbnail relatable, if a viewer watched the video then they'd realize that lord of the rings is totally haram, harry potter is in the grey area, better to not do it, and idk about 'the housemaid' as I haven't really read it.
Aoa! I'm gonna make a video on video games soon, Inshallah. But, I'll say this: Scholars say that it's haram to kill someone in a game because watching someone do haram is haram, and by that logic, it's true that killing in games would be haram. Others say that the rulings of fiction should be applied to games, then killing would be fine if it isn't glorified. The topic is more nuanced and I haven't done my research yet, so expect a better video within a few weeks!

Also, much of fiction is written by non-muslims which has philosophy and what not. Such things mis guide people. Like people read about manifestation do start to believe in it. Or say people read manga and they start behaving like those characters. Now do a background check on the writers of the books. They are not always good people.
Second point..... Most muslims ive met havent even read the Quran that they believe in..... The book was revealed to the world... It itself is art... Its the word of god.... Quran was not revealed to the scholars. It was to the world. It doesn't mention you needing a scholar to understand whats written in it... For that it would have not even revealed in the first place.... Lastly, Quran follows a very strict tone... This when read in arabic might be harsh or worse knowing the context of the words, where as the translations dont emphasize on that alot... The religion isn't 600AD arab culture.... No problem in trying to follow a 1400 year old culture.. but imposing the idea on an everyday mubashir, wait lets do, on an everyday Ali... Isn't.....

In the [Grey area] part, what I meant by 'shirk in fiction' was that if the fictional story depicts a jew or a christian praying, or if the fictional world has it's own religion that's only mentioned in passing, then yeah, whatever, but if the piece is totally based on mythical gods, and that's just what the story is about, something like 'God of war', then as a Muslim, you should definitely avoid that:

What topic would you like to see a video on next?
I tried to stuff as much as I could into the video, but there’s still a few things that I couldn't discuss for the sake of conciseness:
Storytelling is powerful.
STORYWRITING IN THE QURAN, For Muslim writers:
On how to produce prose, Surat Yusuf sets an interesting example of how a writer should describe the events in prose.

But, there's stuff like divination and raising the dead that would raise some alarms. This all fits into the grey area, some would say it's haram and some would say it's makruh. For me i use fiction as a positive mental aid station rather than a way to escape or distract from reality
(personal opinion on fiction inspired after getting various hanafi scholarly views it):
Regarding fiction, i guess the ruling would apply on the message rather the content.

Go you!

What do you mean by sons and daughters?
@@makmet3024 pretty sure they mean "sons and daughters'' like we're his creations
Great video mashahallah !!!!
Brother I will be very thankful if you made a video about polygamy 😊
I have been wondering this for weeks found this video and some of my doubts became clear, but I have one question can I write a fiction story containing magic and other systems or super beings etc
Aoa! Yup, go ahead, but don't name those 'super beings' 'gods', you could call them 'myths' or something else, whatever fits your story
@@SaadtheMuzlim JazakAllah khair
Bro most of scholars say if it weren't all of them that magic even it has nothing to do with real magic is haram. And for sure Polytheism and disbelief in these stories will affect faith, so it is forbidden.
Aoa! Yeah most scholars say that magic in these shows is haram, that's why I presented the argument in the video. If a scholar presents a better argument, then please follow that.
Yeah, playing games and watching movies improved my English skills.
For Example, by reading Percy Jackson, I gathered the knowledge that A Pantheon of gods only leads to destruction and that if they represent different parts of the Universe, they aren't really gods, more like super-powered man children.
For the magic point also is not allowed because the one who can controle the nature is Allah swt .
Tf is this.
Like go and make a video about Hitler's speeches and stuff relating to islam.. or a more common issue, arrange marriages, force marriages etc.... why love isnt given enough importance in the islamic world
But i said it's not haram😭
@@SaadtheMuzlim i should have said the it better... I was calling out the argument you quoted, not your argument... Sorry 😐
What about Game Development
What about 3D Modelling (what if u download )
What about Animating the Model plzzz
Aoa! I'll be making a video on video games soon, which'll answer all your questions inshallah.
@@SaadtheMuzlim alhamdulillah
Thank you brother i am so confused and i asked so many people but they made me even more confused
Some scholars say yes some no
Here are some of my questions :
1. About 3D Models
( can u download and use 3D Models ?
Can you make them ? )
2. Games :
Can i make killing Zombies Game
Can i use human like Characters
Can i make Realistic Environments
Asslamowalaikum! Are video games included in this? Jazakallah khair.
Aoa! Idk😭
I think that's a valid viewpoint, but don't quote me on this.
As a potter-head I was shivering when I was 'bout to click it but alhamdulilah allah huakbar
Personally, I like taking the opinion that is harshest upon me because it's better to be safe than sorry - in this case, fiction being haram
Fiction is fiction -_- it doesn't exist and has nothing to do with real life thats why its called fiction and second of all we are not doing it also its just for fun we shouldn't even take it seriously
May allah guide us and nay allah bless you 😁
@@SungJinWu_ that's what I think too dawg 😭
Lying by definition is a statement intended to deceive. Storytelling is overall about sending a message. ( A bit off topic), if seen a Pixar movie you might notice how they write character emotions more subtly but still effectively.
Does this apply to videogames also, where you play a fictional character that does magic, shirk etc?
Aoa! Idk😭
It kinda makes sense that the rulings of fiction would apply on games too, but don't quote me on this...
If you ever see One True God in fictional stories and stuffs
Don't worry, because it isn't shirk or whatsoever.
You need to know the definition of shirk.
Shirk will happen *IF YOUR BELIEF IS DIFFERENT THAN TAWHID*
Tawhid is the belief of One and The Only True God,which is Allah.
You will commit shirk *IF*
1.Associate our creator Allah with others
And believing it.
2.Believing that other gods exists instead of Allah's existence
3.Comparing Allah with others
And Shirk is mainly related to *Belief*
And so on...
But, even if there isn't, we can't just declare something that's inherently halal as haram:
"O believers!
Fear Allah. Our prophet told us as muslim we should not waste time at things that doesn't benefit us in life and hereafter. We need to understand our deen as our prophet and sahaba did. Little knowledge is dangerous.

This explanation is great and could u please make a video about is it haram to kill each other in video games
Seriously bro get off this device what are sayin
@@The_InfinityXBlade i have seen scholars and shiekhs say it is haram
Aoa! I'm gonna make a video on video games soon, Inshallah. But, I'll say this:
Scholars say that it's haram to kill someone in a game because watching someone do haram is haram, and by that logic, it's true that killing in games would be haram.
Others say that the rulings of fiction should be applied to games, then killing would be fine if it isn't glorified.
The topic is more nuanced and I haven't done my research yet, so expect a better video within a few weeks!
@daisy6139 be logical are u kiling a man or taking a life its is a fiction world with a fictional story

English - Sahih International
(41) O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief - of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you.[1] They distort words beyond their [proper] places [i.e., usages], saying, "If you are given this,[2] take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allāh intends fitnah[3] - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allāh. Those are the ones for whom Allāh does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
(42) [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful. So if they come to you, [O Muḥammad], judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them - never will they harm you at all. And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, Allāh loves those who act justly.
Looks like my question has be answered also does this ruling applies to writing too?
Yes brother, what seperates movies from writing, your brother from morocco 🇲🇦🇩🇿
Yup, in fact writers would be able to best apply this video and write really good 'Halal' novels, which would be great for the Ummah!

well made video
The Quran makes it clear that those who take articles of play , stop people from path of Allah and thier deeds will be nullified.
Also, much of fiction is written by non-muslims which has philosophy and what not. Such things mis guide people. Like people read about manifestation do start to believe in it. Or say people read manga and they start behaving like those characters.
Now do a background check on the writers of the books. They are not always good people.
@@BronzeAgeMan1350 one example is ken wakui
Isn't.....
what about making fiction? is it haram too?
Aoa! The same rulings as that of reading fiction apply to writing fiction, but If you're the writer then you should strive to not include mythology or stuff that generally goes against the Islamic world view.

Surely Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers all together in Hell." [4:140]

Some fiction are based of prophets stories
wait does that make fortnite haram?
Assalamualaikum akhi, what about standup comedy it contains lies but people know it's fictional.
There is a hadith regarding on lying jokes which forbids lying while joking
Aoa!
If the people know fully well that the story is fictional, then its alright, but if the people don't know, then that story falls under this hadith:
“Woe to the one who speaks and tells lies in order to make the people laugh; woe to him, woe to him.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud:4990)
