Back in HS during the 90's. I built a stereo 1watt per ch amp out of two 555 timers in my electronics class. Made it the size of 2 AA batteries so it fit it in my cassette walkman battery compartment. I made a wire harness to power it with 2 9volts for the amps and 2 C batteries for the cassette player and it fit in my pocket. Funny thing is, the class project was just to make a blinking LED using the 555 timer IC chip.
I can see those being good for basic amp tutorials of how to set up a mm1 or any other tools to get a raw perseptive of amp function. These are dope and look fun
I'd love to have one of those little amps. I have a few kicking around, one I made from a gameboy advance powered speaker thing that was only mono but I made it stereo.
