Been wanting to upgrade my 15 to DC AUDIO. Will need a whole new box setup with it. That DC AUDIO AMP would be a perfect compliment to the system setup. Although I'm not sure how hard it will be to get in Canada. I've watched your channel for many years now but 3 years ago I moved back to Ontario where I'm from. I would love to gift this to my Husband. He is always telling me he needs a new amp but he always puts me and his 3 daughters first. He has sacrificed so much and never gets to get anything for himself.
When my son (Who's name is Jackson, google him) was born with multiple birth defects, I put everything in storage at my parents house, including my car system which was a pair of 12" kickers in a sealed box on 1000W, and a pair of 12" kenwood Typhoons in a bandpass box on 600w (Town cars have HUGE trunks👍😁), and moved closer to the hospital we ended up in. Years passed, my father died in an accident, and my mother decided to sell the house. By the time I had my shit together enough to go get my stuff, my mother informed me that she had thrown everything out. All my car audio, all my DJ equipment. Everything. In a dumpster. That was 2 years ago and we haven't spoken since.
The pay around here is peanuts compared to what I was making, and I'm barely making my bills, nevermind building a system. A fresh amp would be awesome to start trying to build my system back.

I am currently building a truck with my daughter. This isn't just any truck. It's a 1995 Nissan Hardbody Kingcab that my mother bought new in 1996. This truck is truly my "first love" as a vehicle. I drove it anywhere she would let me. I even took my prom dates in this truck. I've begged her over and over for 20+ years to sell me this truck and she wouldn't let it go. The truck has basically been a farm truck for the last couple of years and one day she calls me and says she's giving me the truck. It's in rough shape but my daughter and I have been slowly bringing it back to it's former glory. What my daughter doesn't know is this will be her vehicle when she turns 16 and I believe this would go perfect with the system that I want to install in her truck.
I've been watching this channel since 2008. I would love to have this amp for my girl's car that she recently got. We both were going thru hard times before COVID-19 and even tho the obstacles were in our way we still managed to come out the mud with a new place and car. We both were in a bad car accident in march and she was trailing me in her old car and a old man ran the light and sideswiped my truck and her car. Both our rides were totaled. And we both lost our jobs behind it & covid hit. Fast forward to now we moved to a new state. Have just gotten a car and still trying to maintain thru this pandemic. I'd love to give her this amp and make her smile thru all this because it could've been worse. Forever grateful to be alive. Thanx.

I use to be big into car audio before I became a tattoo artist back in 2010 now I keep getting shutdown due to Covid and got back into it, I have a 02 Tahoe I’m working on and having this amp would be perfect just to say I have a SMD certified DC amp in my car being a huge fan of yours for years plus my initials are DC as well lol
I'm an Iraq Veteran and the pastor of a local church. I am rebuilding a 77 Nova from the ground up by myself. Due to the corona virus I haven't been able to do any services so I have been focused on my Nova since March. The build is going along just fine, but it would be nice to have some bump in the trunk. I have traditionally stuck to Rockford Fosgate, but I would like to try the DC audio brand for this build. I have stuck with Rockford only because I know what it can do and it has been around since I was a teenager. I see your videos and I think I might just take the leap regardless, but having a little help wouldn't hurt.

I was going to install a low-budget system in my GF's car to cheer her up a bit and do something nice for her during this difficult time. She recently lost her job due to Covid-19 and this amp would be an awesome addition at the right price.
My pops has been asking me to help him overhaul the audio system in his truck, this would be perfect for what he wants to run. Anyways it would help get the momentum going on our project, it would be badass to have a chunk of DC AUDIO & SMD history pumping bass in his daily!

First off, its always a pleasure watching your videos and seeing your family grow. I'd like to have this amp to put on my2 12 inch tropo subs. Right now they're underpowered with the CT Sounds T-1000.1d. It sounds good, but there is distortion when I crank it and I don't want to clip them to death. Every since I found our about your RUclips channel 4 years ago, my dormant bass life was awaken and I'm trying to improve so that one day I can enter competitions.

Honestly Steve I’ve been watching since I was 14 so now 9 years. Your videos are what got me into car audio in the first place, I just got a new car and I’m wanting to put a new system in it and it would be absolutely incredible to have an amp from the person that got me into car audio to begin with. Big fan, I had an amp just like that one driving my 2 dc m3 8's in Custom line under the rear seat of tundra. That was until my truck got broken into and my tools and amps were stolen. Still have my subs but that amp drives them effortlessly.
I'm retired and on Social Security currently building my dream truck , a 1966 F100 Restomod . I'd love to have that Amp as the center piece for my audio system although I'm probably a year away from that point in the truck having just finished off the frame mods for lowering it on bags . I have never owned a DC Audio product before and would show it proud when the seat is folded forward at car shows . Keep up the great videos !

Nice comparison Steve. I've just started my own Car Audio business in Toronto, Canada just a few days ago. I'm still in college but decided to get started on this since I have free time on my hands right now and am extremely passionate about Audio. I've been messing around with sound systems since I was 10 but really started to learn a lot and develop more of an interesting when I got into high school. I'm 22 right now and believe I have enough knowledge and experience to start my own business. My company is called Platinum Auto Lab, I have an Instagram page so far and will be getting myself out there more on social media with time. Now I would really like to have this amp so that I can use it as a Demo Amp on a test bench to test out different subwoofers or demonstrate to my customers without worrying about this amp or that amp not having enough output on whichever load resistance. I have a blown MTX TC8001 amp that I'm trying to repair right now so that I can throw it on my test bench but I haven't gotten far in the repair. It would be extremely helpful to me if I could get this amp, one for the reason above, two so that I can demonstrate quality amps and brands like DC audio to my customers. I usually never enter in contests and have never played a lottery ticket yet because I know I won't ever win. I've always been about working my own way up and not taking handouts, but this feels like support and less of a handout if I do end up winning.

My dad use to bump some old kenwood excelon amps he passed on to me about 6 years ago. Says he got em around 02. Anyway almost 18 years old they finally went out on a nice hot day. Be nice to get back in the game with a 1.2k my 12s are fiending for power to throw at em. Ain’t had bass in about a year and a half. Keep up the nice work🙏🏽

Back in January, on the icy roads out here in Minnesota, i lost control of my brand new car i bought the year prior. My first tax season after getting the car, I installed a 350
Amp alt, a D2400, a pair of XP3000's, a skar 4.5k, and bought and reconed a pair of used DC XL15 M2's. After i lost control of my car, i hit a snow bank on the side of the ditch. Both me and my son were perfectly fine aside from a single scratch on my head, but the car was a total loss... now i just want to get a little bump in my new to me 07 ram!

My name is Ethan I am 16 and recently started getting into car audio buying and selling flipping and helping other people out showing them what they are buying I have a setup in my dads car with a kenwood amp and it gets super hot and can’t put out the power I need I love car audio and this amp is a beauty I would be astound to have this and would use it to be able to test bigger and better subs and hopefully install it into my car one day on my subwoofer system. Car audio has had a huge impact on who I am as a person it keeps me happy and keeps me excited to see what’s next and watching your videos about car audio I have learnt a lot and I’m still so far off but I will make it there. The system I have been wanting is 2 sa 8s and this amp would be perfect for that system
I would love to have this.im currently running a little Kenwood amp that is 400 watts and 2 Kenwood 12s. In my 4runner.if i won this I would use it to upgrade my system so my daughter and I had better tunes to jam on our road trips we occasionally take,and then I would use my old amp to upgrade and power a couple door speakers.even if I don't win,I wanna congratulate the person who does or did.that looks like a great amp.

Id like to have it because i could say ive got some steve meade had and tested id hook it to my old skool dr. Crankenstein 15 i just want to hear that thing make some noise. Id keep it forever. When i do a permanant install id clear it where u signed off on it still making power. Box it in with plexiglass and put lights around it. Have never had a system ive ever keep goin that long. Cant afford nothing like that. I could pass it down through the generations of bassheads that would really appreciate it. Might make a future basshead out of someone that cant afford it just like me. All i have now is a set of 15 inch coustics with a dual powering them. And that crankenstein i just picked up for $25.
I would love to have the amp to put in my wifes car to thank her for helping me for the last 6 years since i broke my back every day and for a great mother to my kids through the whole thing shes my hero .She has never complained and just helps me with no questions asked .

Just bought a 18" CT sounds sub and made the box myself ported 4.75 cubic feet ported. Running a polk audio 2 channel bridged to 1 ohm its way under powered but planned on getting a bigger amplifier for it. That DC amp would be perfect. I’ve owned my 64 impala for over 20 years. It’s the car my wife and I dated in. I started restoring 13 years ago, since then we got married had to kids & moved to the country. We’re just now getting to wiring and audio part. This amp would be a cool start to stereo.

I believe i deserve the amp because im struggling right now with funds to push my subwoofers, I have been trying to get a good amp for 2 years now, but its been rough because i've been diagnosed with seizures now so its hard to find work
I used to have 2 12" subs in a custom box in my Charger. I let my son take my car to school in Dallas Texas and the car was broken into and everything is gone. I am planning on building a box for my truck and would use that amp to power my subs in the truck. I have been without bass for almost a year now and am having issues affording a new system and this will help with some of the costs. Thanks for the great content.

Currently have a second hand Audio Pipe setup, 2x TXX-DB1-12 (12" woofers) and a "1500" watt 4 channel but it only outs out 225 bridged. I've been wanting to upgrade to something more suited for subs. These woofer need more power.
Really appreciate the videos, they've helped me learn more about sound systems and how to properly set up everything. Hope to set myself up with some solid SMD goodies down the road when I do upgrade!
I had a 12 year old Crossfire 1000d on 2 15” BMF’s that when I went to a DB drag here in Toledo,Ohio hit 140db in the trunk of a Honda Accord in a sealed box! Quality is unwavering when the manufacturer holds itself to such high standards! Just like Crossfire,DC Audio holds itself to that same standard! I have a Version 1 SAE-1000D and I can’t blow it up if I tried,I can guarantee that amp would be well taken care of as an upgrade for my X-10! Best man wins in the end!
I have a 94 gmc jimmy I've been wanting to do a build in and hopefully pass it on to my son. I have 2 TDX 12s i would like to install in it and the DC amp would accommodate it perfect.

I love car audio, it makes me happy, i enjoy watching all of this stuff, that's related to car audio, from the tweeters to the subwoofers, it's hard for me, this amp will save me a lot of money, and will help me, to make my dream come true.
When I was little my dad had this really old boss 1200 w amp and now he gave it to me it’s been playing on 2 15 inch sumbwoofers for around 9 years and it works like new
I have always loved car audio. But never been able to afford real high quality amps. Between raising seven children and being a single income household I just had to put it to the side. I am currently running a Dual brand amp. It might put out 900 watts. It would be awesome to have some real high quality equipment.

I'd definitely like the amp. I've redone the wiring in my car probably six times now and finally feel like I know what I'm doing after watching many of your videos, from understanding polarity and how to set crossovers and gains to setting up an amp rack. I feel like I'm about to start a life of building and this would be a great landmark. I'm for sure gonna open the box with a steak knife too. Thanks for the videos Steve!

Steve, I got my Xterra towed and had to pay $500 because my parking permit expired by two days and the rental office was closed. I was about to buy a new amp from Crescendo and now I am deeper in the hole than I expected. I'd love that DC amp and could even pick it up!

Honestly don't know how long I've followed. I stumbled onto your channel a few years ago while searching for car audio pages. I found this page and I like it. If I had that amp, I'd use it to drive the pair of Sundown X.12s I have. My current amp is only a monoblock so I only run one sub. I'd like to run both. That and it would give me a good excuse to update the power feeding my amp as it is now.
Steve -- As much as I wouldn't mind a different AMP for my dual 10" subs in my 97' Jeep Wrangler, There are a few people more deserving then me on here.

If I win I'd be giving this amp to a younger co worker who is just getting into car audio. He keeps buying these cheap amps that are over rated from the factory. He has alot to learn. Id love for him to see what a real amp is that does its rated power plus some. Right now I cant even hook all his voicecoils up because the impedance would be to low. I have been into car audio all my life. I remember my dad had a couple 12s in his single cab f150 and I would jam out in my car seat. I have gone from Rockford p3, kicker cvr, up to sundown audio. Always installed my own systems and learned a lot from watching your videos. Now I am putting together a system composed of 2 custom built 12s built by Jeff Vue, only thing I'm missing now is an amp. I have always wanted to try DC audio just don't have the funds to make that leap just yet but its definitely my goal. If selected for this amp it will definitely be put to good use for a very long time. Shit in another 7 years we can throw it back on your Dyno to see how it's held up.
dc audio amps are amazing! I have the 2.0k and it is nothing short of incredible, though price to power isnt the best, theres a saying: buy cheap, buy twice!
Steve, I'd love to have this amp so I can build a bumpin ass system in my Ridgeline. I'm a 45 year old dad so grew up in the 90's when boomin systems were the shit! Hey Steve. I could really use this amp because after 4 months of waiting for a $700 high amp alternator along with a booster harness to pump up my voltage a little more with AGM batteries. I finally hooked up and after a week, somehow a power surge happened and I seen a 17 volt reading and all the sudden my brand new amp blew out. Needless to say I’m back to square one and with COVID I’m living as cheep as I can, but totally dying for my subs to come back :/. Thanks man
I would love that amp! I’ve been working on a build for my 2500 ram slowly getting equipment. I bought 2 lvl 2 dc audio 12” subs. Got pretty much everything I need for my system except my 4ch amp and my subs amp. Putting a piece of history like that In my truck would be bad a$$!! I even bought one of your big power/ground distribution blocks👍🏼

I would love that amp to power a pair of classic 12 inch Cerwin Vegas my dad had in his old car when i was young, he eventually sold the car but kept the subwoofers they have been sitting in the basement for almost 5 years and i finally got a car to put em in i think it would make a good match to pair them up together after laying dormant for so long. I always loved car audio. Started in the 90s. Then I lost love for the industry right around the "how many screens and neon lights can I fit in my car" era. Then finding your forum about 10 years ago made me rekindle my love. Now I have a small system in my car and my wife's (she loves her bass). But honestly I can use a little more power for my subs (im running a jl 250/1 on my sub side). Thanks for the quality content and for helping me love my hobby again.

Always a joy watching these videos. Now going thru this covid 19 pandemic and I'm still home waiting on work to restart. Eager tho to start building my system for my 2006 crv in the meantime to keep my head in the right place until work is a go. So far I had got some (before the lockdown) ds18 mids, pair of soundqubed 12s and also some 6inch audio pipes for the doors. Just amps to purchase now. That DC audio will be a gem to have. 🥺🥺 I have been an avid sound system enthusiast since forever, but never really had the time to do my own system. Pick me and I will definitely put it to good use.🙏
Ive been looking at your vids for years now i just heard my first windy system a couple months ago and im hooked now i used to only do daily systems now im building me a 4th order blow through for 2 sundown sa 12s i want the amp because i know its way better than the one i have now (the prime 750.1) its a budget build so it will take me some tome to come up with the cash for a good amp im working on getting me another sa 12 now since i only have 1 but may the best comment win! I could use that amp to get back in the game. Only reason i Stopped was because of I had 2 kids. Had to remove everything for the room. Now that they older I can have a system back there again n this amp will help alot.
My 20 plus year old Rockford fosgate amp still pushes hard it’s only 900 watts but runs my sub great
