Absolutely. He controls perfectly in that game. The stages are just too small whereas the PC version feels like the stages are too big. LOL. Only Forces got the scaling right but the level design sucked!

I completed the entire game, all red rings and S ranks in all stages and missions in 20.1 hours on Steam, 06 had way better stages despite being... 06. Try the Sonic 06 remake on PC for a truly fun time, they fixed the physics, and made it look better than even Unleashed if I dare say so.
Y'know, where "3D" Sonic is actually 3D for more than 6 minutes in total throughout the game lol

I like how they upscale the 360 version on the Xbox One X Backwards Compatible port. Looks great! I got it with games with GOLD in March of last year if I’m not mistaken

My favorite is the PC version (as always), but... why didn't you use original PS3 and Xbox 360 hardware?
I saw the "Compiling shaders" notification of RPCS3 (minute 1:42) and the Xbox 360 stuttered a bit too much, so you were using Xenia.
If you want to make comparison videos, isn't it better to buy original consoles instead of using emulators?
(I'm not accusing you, I just want to know why you use emulators in a comparison video)
Likely easier to record.
Xbox 360 and PS3 needed a HDPVR or equivalent capture card software which is a ton of hassle, not to mention time consuming.
And sure you could use the Xbox Gamepass version instead of an emulator, but then the PS Now version runs like ass on even the best Internet speeds, so emulation is really the easiest route to take.

Sonic Generations is a fantastic game for what it is, but I wish that it just had more. More levels, more interesting side challenges, maybe some side missions where you play as other characters, longer levels, fully colorful backgrounds instead of the white void, more bosses, more cutscenes with characters interacting, a more fleshed out story and so forth. It just feels like Sonic Generations needed more to it to feel like a bigger, more complete game.
But because it’s short, it gives an excuse of saying “Well, Play it again if you so please”.
in 3ds it is more or less, I don't know if it was downgraded, the ps3 and Xbox 360 don't have many graphical changes and on the pc it is superior.
3ds it's similar than gamecube in cuestion of power, ps3 and 360 stay in a other league than 3ds in cuestion of power

PS3 title screen might creep because they didn't have that popping in animation instead we have the asset loads in which we can see how Character's have their mouth inside in case they opened the mouth
Actually the PS3 version DOES have the popping animation. This guys is most likely using poor emulation.

The color is very nice on the Xbox360 in my opinion, but Pc has an incredible frame rate.

I grew up with the 360 version i used to play it on my dad's xbox 360 and i recently picked up the 3ds version
Even if the 3DS version is watered down from the other ones, its still amazing. It looks actually better on a *New* Nintendo 3DS XL than on here btw. I started with the Xbox 360 version on the Series X and was really blown away!!! The 3DS version if you look at it for what it is, its good too. It surprised me. Xbox 360 version on a series S or X is the best way to play. Maybe the PC version is best but its so finnicky getting the right settings it maybe looks just a wee bit better. With the Xbox you can get started right away.
I like 3DS and PC versions more! And I said 3DS since it's also Way Past Cool, despite being so different!
3DS version isnt blurred on real 3DS since its rendered in 240p and showed on 240p screen so it doesnt blur
when you upscaled it to 1080p it got blurred
you should nearest neighbor scale it so its nice unblurred pixelated like on 3DS
Damn 🤯 I didn't know that was the difference. Since I play most 3ds games on my phone and they are default ×3 the resolution, I always thought "Oh this doesn't look half bad"

I have both the PS3 version and PC version and I use the ps3 version for TV console use, whereas the PC version I use on my gaming desktop.
PS3: 720p @30 fps with some fps drops and longer loads for stages and saving.
PC: 1080p+ @60 fps+ and Mod support
I can still play the ps3 version, but if you had to choose one to play, def play the PC version, as the 360 version is mostly the same as the ps3

I own this game on ps3, xbox and now pc version, I play it on the 360 normally because its not choppy like the ps3 verison is, also load time is better on the 360, i bought the pc version on ebay the other day i never had a pc powerful enough to run it back when it came out but I do now and absolutely stunned at how it looks and runs, 60fps and with all filters on max with the highest resolution the game looks incredible, it makes the console ports look dreadful, its great the 360 controller is available for pc makes playing it like your running it from a console.

Welp, after having completed both PC and 3DS versions, I'd say they're the best ones
PC is obvious the best version of the game, despite it being a broken, subpar, botched port. Mods can fix half the issues
3DS version is its own game. Comparing it to the console versions is purely personal preference

one of the things that 3ds does not have is the spind dash of Classic Sonic, you know the one that has a very strong impulse

@@Kurxxedhaha well you are about right, but at the same time that's how it use to have been for classic Sonic (though they should have just gave him the new spin dash like they did the homing attack).
Ok! To let you know a secret if you jump out of a roll while holding the direction you're flying off to you will accelerate faster than the initial speed limit. Not sure if this was intended by the developers but it's there to help you if you need it.

I had an Xbox 360 it’s in storage but when was little 10 or 11 I play sonic generations on a 4K ultra TV/ I think a roku tv so the quality probably looked like the PC Version

While pc runs better and looks better, i think xbox 360 is the best cuz of the the nostalgia. And while pc has better framerate, you don’t really notice that too much anyway on xbox 360 since you are focused on the lvl and not your framerate

First of all both ps3 and xbox were consoles and although the xboxes all run on a version of windows to an extent, both the 360 and ps3 use completely different architecture to that of any modern pc.
Second, steam runs on windows with the majority of steam games playable on windows so to that steam games are pc games but not all pc games are steam games.
I have the 3ds version but in my opinion is the Xbox 360 version is better if only I wish I own a Xbox 360
