Would you be able to do a video on eves new song, and if you do it appears that the main person is fighting with killing himself and living. Being he tried to overdose and get in a washing machine, but his heart form saves him from his shadow, but he appears to have slight control over it as if he has lived with the shadow for a long time but I might be wrong.
As long as you explain it well any interpretation is valid! It seems like it. I already wrote my ideas for the new song and collected references. ^^

I am immensely surprised by how you can figure out so much interesting things and facts about these songs. Here I was thinking poem and image analysis from my spanish class would be utterly boring and uninteresting, you make it amazingly interesting! Keep up the good work!

though when you think Raison sees D'Etre only in dreams, you could say the last fight was illustrative of her rebuilding how she sees the world, so she had to destroy those grey sad buildings and when she breaks D'etre's mask it could be that she saw a repressed memory(backed up by the fact D'etre has a chain in her ankle, to be held back you could say)
I feel related most with the scene when Raison sees herself in the mirror and frightens of what she is becoming. I too felt that way, I was not well awared of what kind of person I was becoming. Now I can't even describe about myself, not knowing who I am and who I was anymore.
Great explaination anyway, your works should deserve more attention, hope everyone will be interested more in Eve's MV meanings.
I wouldn't stress about knowing who you are or who you were. We're always changing with a pile of fragments of what we do and what like and even that changes.

Hi!! Really loved the video- and I understand it might've been to refer to the two main characters of this MV as Raison and D'etre, I just wanna let people know that it's probably not their names but a whole word in French- meaning "Reason"

I’ve never realized until today they are kind of the same person
Yeah, I actually think they are the same person. I don't think any time they show D'etre she is actually "real". Raison sees herself as the hero struggling through the world until she starts to realize what she's becoming. D'etre is actually the feelings that are being locked away, and when the mask breaks Raison is forced to confront them and finally realizes she's fighting herself and has been the "bad guy" so to speak.
That's my theory anyway.
Girl gets lost in dream, instantly gets happy when i got the same dream(WHICH I DID RIGHT AFTER WATCHING THE MV)
