I love how much Eve you're listening to! I'm still gonna recommend Dramaturgy since it's like his most classic song and the beginning does some cool stuff with the head phones. Also on the lyrics stuff, Eve's music tends to go pretty deep and dramaturgy is a good example of that. It's based off a philosophical principle called dramaturgy which states that there is no such thing as a static personality and that we are all actors putting on separate masks and acting out characters in the play of life.
I don't watch reaction videos, i watched this because I wanted to know what someone with music knowledge thought of this song, it's currently one of my favorite and most important to me. Glad you had so much good to say about it.

Totally agree about the importance of delivery and rhythm too, I enjoy a lot of music where the language is foreign to me because the instrumentation and vocals stand out enough on their own.

You should look at Eve’s most recent song “Fight Song”. It’s a continuation of How To Eat Life and a good song
If you didn't know, raison d'etre means "reason to be" in french. which ties into the visuals of the character fighting to be someone, to have a reason to live.
Definitely should do "as you like it" by eve but they also were on the ending of episode 12 of chainsaw man. I been listening to eve for 3 years and love it, they have a very distinct sound. It's like people live on different octaves and frequencies and it's the coolest stuff when you can pick up on it

I love how he’s reacting to eves old songs rather than the new (overrated imo) songs from eve, this is coming from an eve fan since 2018! Must recommend dramaturgy, last dance, Tokyo ghetto, sister and we are still underground!!
I prefer most of his older songs but his newest song that just came out is amazing in my opinion. on par with the quality of some of my other favourite older songs. I hope he keeps making songs like his most recent one Fight Song. I've been a fan since 2017 so I'm psyched to see him get back into (what is in my opinion) his old swing. (The MV might have made me a bit biased though, that was stunning 😭)
