I remember you doing these on your live streams where you de-construct and learn new songs as soon as they launched and making the covers! It's so freaking impressive that you are able to do this on technical songs that get tricky at some parts + you actually showing us how you do it is just such a blessing for newbie/beginner/intermediate/non-professional guitarists/musicians like myself. I dont know anybody else that does these. Seriously man, I've learned the most from your tutorial videos because coincidently or not but they're exactly what I needed when I got stuck at some points (eg. Writing riffs in drop tuning, writing metal chorus/verse, writing metal intros, learning songs etc.) Your videos are so to the point and the most important thing that I felt was you genuinly wanted to impart these knowledge, tips and tricks; not everyone does this, a lot of these online tutorial guys hold so much back when teaching almost like they don't want us to learn these tricks xD. You're a true teacher man! I play some stuff heare and there and a lot has been thanks to you my guy! You're awesome! Looking forward to more of your content! \m/
I’ve always wondered how you learn these songs so quickly, so seeing the process was exciting! I hope to see more of these, especially when it comes to more complicated songs and how you go about learning/tabbing it :)
Really, really cool to watch someone learning a song by ear. I've always just relied on tabs other people have written, but I've wanted to learn how to figure music out myself. Having a video of someone just going through and doing exactly that is actually really helpful.
I love how he makes learning a new song seem as easy as taking your pen apart when you were bored in class. Really cool format, would love to see more!
I find it crazy how cover artists can hear over everything like vocals. Forr bands like dance gavin dance, who release instrumental versions of their songs, i can hear so much of what the guitars are doing that i didn't notice when vocals were laid over
Dude, this was fantastic. I legit thought you only did reaction vids & didn't even realize you played guitar. I build guitars but haven't played in months. I'm legit gonna learn this & write my own take on the solo now. Very inspiring, keep it up!

You have a very similar process as I do for figuring songs out. It's nice to see other people learning by ear. Who needs tabs??? Hope this format sticks..
This is super cool, it was fun to watch your learning process and then with the tabs I also just started learning it. Cool format and really enjoyed it.
