  • Christian has been putting in work on the truck to get things done! He is now at a point where he is waiting on parts to get any further. Next step will be getting the fuel cell mounted and the sway bar installed!

    Great video. I would really love to see as much as possible from the manufacturing tips & tricks like you did with the dimple die. Keep up the good work. On the personal side you guys make me miss being able to work on cars, bikes and pickup trucks during the weekend. School has been pretty demanding on my time.

    Eastwood makes some affordable dimple die cutters, under $100, they cut and dimple, work great on materials up too 1/8th inch.

    Hey man you can make those struts work so they lift and then when you pull it down it over centers then pushes down . So your not putting pressure on thee latch to hold it closed . The strut is holding it down

    You guys need to check out Swag offroad. They have punch and dimple dies for the harbor freight presses. The hole saw moves too much.

    What dou you guys use for bending chromoly tubes?
    I would really like a video of the machinery that you guys use for each task. Something like a small garage tour or like you did with the dimple die and press.

    • @WingsWorldChannel
      @WingsWorldChannel  5 лет назад +3

      I use a JD2 Model 32 bender with the electric over hydro setup and I built a little stand for it with casters to move around the garage, a video like that is definitely something we will consider! - christian

    Whats up with the rubber bump stops up front?

    • @WingsWorldChannel
      @WingsWorldChannel  5 лет назад +1

      Alot of center mounted prerunners and ive noticed on a few trophy trucks ive been able to get hands on with that they dont run a hydraulic bumpstop on the front of the trucks! Its almost unnecessary with the amount of wheel travel these front ends pull and with proper shock tuning! -Christian

      They are Autofab Urethane Bushing assemblies, you can order a set from Kartek Offroad! Part number for these in particular are AFBBA175 on Kartek's site.
