This is an easy to follow tutorial on changing a JPG, PNG, or Other photo format into an SVG to use with your cutting machine

Totally agree! I've watched videos on this before but I still didn't know how to do it because the amount of time they took to get the info out and /or distractions in their videos, I just couldn't pay attention long enough or retain the important information.

Thank you so much for explaining this!!! My dog passed away two weeks ago and I wanted to take her paw print from when I had done in ink and turn into an svg so I can make a memorial. Other ways I tried to do it didn’t work this worked and came out exactly how I wanted it. This was so helpful, I appreciate it!

OMG! I love you SO MUCH. Thanks! I had been looking exactly about how to turn a more complex image, like a real picture into SVG. The overwhelming amount of tutorials used rather simple images such are drawings, or very simple pictures and left it at that.
This is the only channel which showed actually what I want. I went through many channels but all were so complicated. I searched in many ways to reach my goal but all were a failure. Then scrolling I got this tutorial and it's too good !!

Fantastic. I have learned so much from this video. Our Cricut machine hasn't been plugged in yet as my daughter and I were nervous. Today I got so far as downloading the design space to my laptop (I do everything else on my iPhone), then I watched the first bit of your video and was distracted by the website to make SVG files as I wanted to personalise a MINI logo due to the MINI owners club I run. Thankfully it was so very simple I won't need to buy any images, even the ones on Etsy I hoped to buy, I can just copy now. I have also sent 80+ fonts from my iPhone to an email address I only use on the laptop and so tomorrow I will install those into my design space and get creating.
I have subscribed to your channel and will now have a look what else I can do.

Added it to illustrator and added his name and best friend and a little bit more. And turned it into a laser engraving for her. You helped me turn an image into a great memorial gift for a dog we all loved 💙💙

I love this diy but I can honestly say that you make it look so easy with the weeding. I am absolutely horrible at weeding. I dont know why I have such a hard time. I dont give up though. I will definitely try this project. Thank you
It could be your material you are using not all vinyl is created equal. It also does take practice. You’ll notice that I fold my vinyl over at a sharp angle that makes a giant difference as well.
