Thank you..I received a cricut maker and was Going to return It...my computers are too old..however phone is new .. fustrating that some tools don't work with phone....I see you half to pay for program..I'm ok with that but I make jewelry and have worked with photos for yrs...You did a VERY nice job in explaining....

Background remove is also avail online (web version), don’t necessarily need the app for that part. Also sending images through FB, they end up very condensed as FB compresses it and you can loose quality… but hey if it works, it works! :) You can use a png to SVG free website to covert it into an SVG. Even though you named your file SVG, it’s not an SVG, it’s a jpg or png depending how you saved it… then you don’t need to worry about Cricut making you pay.
As a Beginner I would like if you had a bigger cursor and explain where the button are located on the program so it is easier to see and follow your movements. thank you.

You don't need to mirror permanent vinyl before cutting it. The only time I would mirror this vinyl is if you are putting it on the INSIDE of the glass on a lantern.

The remove.bg app and the Adobe Capture app are both on the Google play store on an Android phone. I didn't make a stencil with etch cream. I cut the design with black Oracle 651 vinyl and applied it to the glass.

Can you show us how to draw a photo directly on to a canvas board using cricut?
I've never done that before, I'm sorry.
It mean you have to mirror it before cutting it

Illustrator is even better than Photoshop for editing svgs. With Illustrator you can bring the image in and use image trace to make an svg in one shot
