I recently bought a Cricut and I'm still learning what it can do. This tutorial was fantastic! I would have never known I could do this. I am a hobby baker and use the Cricut to make cookie stencils. But now I realize I can do so much more with this machine!
Thank you so much for your video! I was driving myself crazy on my laptop trying to figure out where the SVG converter was! It's odd they rolled this out on the IOS first I thought. Thanks again!
Thanks Kayla. This is a game changer. I saw the update come through yesterday on my iPad but was not sure how to do it. Thanks for your detailed explanation.
Great tutorial! Like many others, looking forward to seeing it on CDS for desktop. Hoping the photo option is refined more, too, to have more a realistic svg but it is absolutely an amazing update for png print then cut to svg!
This feature is amazing! No more trying to do it in Inkscape. I signed up for the access membership in January. So glad I did! Create a sticker is awesome & now this! Thanks for the tutorial! ❤🎉🎊
As always, excellent video!! Wow!! That photo of Callie was fantastic!! Just the black outline would be great on a white T-Shirt!! I would like to see you actually layer that on a T-Shirt and see the finished product. Always my go to content creator for all things Cricut!! Thanks Kayla!
"Thank you very much. Is there a one-step method to create single-line drawings in Cricut? For instance, when trying to make a drawing in cricut, it produces a double line even when using a coloring book image. This happens instead of a single line, which is what I'm looking for. I'd like to know if there are any new updates on creating single-line drawings or for hot foiling similar to the Brother scanncut machine. This machine can produce a single line for things like foiling in our outlines, but Cricut, it's creating a double line instead." Do you have any videos regarding this issue?
Oh my gosh Kayla…such great instruction. I’m sad that if not a member of access I can’t use this new feature. Seems like they want to force you to pay as a lot of updates are only for paying members. Not very nice imo. But I do appreciate your great instructions. A lot of their program when you open up Cricut space is all about advertising… taking up space on my computer. Everything dealing with the designs cost money…❤️
Oh my goodness! First off fantastic tutorial! But more importantly … When your pup came up I immediately said CALLIE! I had a Sheltie named Callie too (RIP to my Callie ❤❤❤).
I just found your channel. I have a new Cricut Xtra. I want to be able to write sentiments for handmade cards but am having trouble with sizing and correct placement. Can you recommend help? Thank you
I can't afford access and when I bought my cricut maker years ago, there weren't so many restrictions and there were more and better free designs. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known what they were going to do 😕 But thanks for the great tutorial 😊
Ok this may be the one update that actually gets me to sign up for access. I think its finally worth it, this and the sticker maker. I better sign up before they raise the membership lol
Hi Kayla! I’m confused on a part of this process. When you download the butterfly, you mention it goes into your downloads folder. On your laptop right? I know about that part but when you go to your iPad & browse, should it be in the downloads folder on the iPad? Mine isn’t showing up. Thanks for your help!
Hi! I actually googled the image on my iPad and downloaded it onto my iPad. Then I pulled up the image in Cricut Design Space on my iPad, converted the image to the multiple layers, then saved my project in Design Space (all while still on my iPad). I went to my laptop after that. Sorry for the confusion! I hope that helps!
Wow! This is really so cool! Thanks so much for the clear explanation! Question: did you say I CAN'T do this with my laptop, which is Windows? Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
It is very cool!! Sorry I kept saying desktop and I meant desktop and laptop. You can only convert the images on your phone or iPad and not on the computer (desktop or laptop)
Why are they always behind? I’m happy about the update but really this is behind other programs and then they can’t even start it on a lap top or desk top. Oh Cricut….. 🤦🏻♀️
When I selected on the app it automatically asked me to update. If yours didn't, then I would go to your app store and search for Cricut. It should have a button to update.
This is an amazing update to Design Space. I hope it will be updated to the desk top version soon. Excellent directions as always.

This is a game changer!! I love that this function is finally available!!
womp womp
Thanks Kayla. This is a game changer. I saw the update come through yesterday on my iPad but was not sure how to do it. Thanks for your detailed explanation.
Great tutorial....great new feature in that sublimation on some substrates are not my favorite so this expands cut possibilities.
Very cool. I would not have noticed the update since i basically never use design space on my phone or iPad.
I usually don't either so I was glad I saw it!! :)

I would like you to learn more about SVG files. I am an access member and want you to get more involved
That is so easy-to-use, then another version. Thank you so so much.
So fantastic, what a wonderful tutorial ☺☺☺
Yes, I ONLY use desktop, lol.
Thanks so much for the update!
Just wish it was for desktop. I don't have an IPAD and the only thing I do on my phone is make calls🙁
I'm hoping they eventually will add it to desktop 🤞🏻
Great video . Thank you for sharing. Sure think they should have done that on the desktop.
Wow game changer. I’ve not been able to convert my cat. Will try this method.
Thanks for the awesome directions. I will try it soon!
This is great!! Can you make a video of layering of the butterfly?
Thanks for the tutorial. I’m going to try it today.

You're a life savior!!!❤
Awesome tutorial. I am so behind I don't know where to start. 😊

Hi! Love the video. It looks like you can make shadow boxes too using this method. Correct?

Wow amazing can’t wait to try this…thanks for the video ❤
WOWWWW. I can't wait til this option is for desktop.
Wow!!! I just got a cricut and!!! This update is gonna be life saver. But is this only for access members?
Oh my goodness! First off fantastic tutorial! But more importantly … When your pup came up I immediately said CALLIE! I had a Sheltie named Callie too (RIP to my Callie ❤❤❤).
Awww!!! 🥹 I can't believe they had the same name too!! Shelties are such great dogs! 🥰
Thank you! Your tutorials are so informative!!
I just found your channel. I have a new Cricut Xtra. I want to be able to write sentiments for handmade cards but am having trouble with sizing and correct placement.
Can you recommend help?
Thank you
Has this been updated to desk top yet?
I can't afford access and when I bought my cricut maker years ago, there weren't so many restrictions and there were more and better free designs. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known what they were going to do 😕
But thanks for the great tutorial 😊
I wish these updates were for all Cricut Users 😔
I agree I would have gone with the Silhouette. I’ve spent far too much on their Machines, Cartridges, Access now I need an IPad!!! 🤬
Fantastic demo! Thank you so much!
I Love it Thanks for sharing this
What if you don't pay for the circuit design space and only use the free one? How can you do the layers?
But I can no longer clean up images without access, I can’t get past the trial screen.
Ok this may be the one update that actually gets me to sign up for access. I think its finally worth it, this and the sticker maker. I better sign up before they raise the membership lol
haha seriously!!
So we can only do this on ipad, then save and open on computer correct?
Can be picture of people be done?
Thanks for this tutorial! ❤
My cricket would not let me upload an svg. Says it’s the wrong format

@@KaylasCricutCreations ok, thank you. That's a bit of a bummer. 😜
Looks great but is it worth the price of Access? Will you lose your SVGs if you stop paying? 😊
Would have like to see it cut
Great video. TY 😊Linda
I loved the tutorial!!
❤thank you for this video
It's amazing try it with you! Thank you for teaching now to use it! Liz 😊 PS Just Subscribed to you Channel!
Thank you for subscribing and watching! I"m glad it was helpful! 💗
That’s so cool ❤
Wished you’d showed best way to cut them out
Sorry! I wanted to get the video out and didn't have time. I will try to do an updated video showing cutting them out.
If I wasn’t confused before with png and svg I sure am more confused now 😢 GB those of you that understand this all ❤
Is this a pay feature? Like pay for access?
It is a pay feature, only for access members.
Why are they always behind? I’m happy about the update but really this is behind other programs and then they can’t even start it on a lap top or desk top. Oh Cricut….. 🤦🏻♀️
thank you
they need to make available for PC
I'm really hoping they will! 🤞🏻
thanks!
wow!
How to up date
When I selected on the app it automatically asked me to update. If yours didn't, then I would go to your app store and search for Cricut. It should have a button to update.
Hi new to your channel and liked it very much., but could you please slow down your speech so that itI69 years old and getting slower
✅ *promo sm*
This update is so annoying. She is making it seem so easy, but it is not easy. You also have to have cricut access. It is not a free option.
talking about dog
the vocal fry is obnoxious, stop talking like that people!!!
I mean Like.
