You ROCK!! I have been struggling with short rows forEVERRRRR! Thanks. And thanks for 1) no music (ooof why do people think music improves video??) and 2) speaking in a nice, calm, conversational voice so my ears didn't jump off my head.
Thanks for this video! I have been using shadow wrap for sock heels but was not sure whether to place it as wrap and turn when substituting. I find shadow wrap to be easier, faster and less noticeable. A great technique.
Looking for a way to replace a wrap and turn pattern (Purl Soho Bandana Cowl) with this shadow wrap. How do you convert w&t instructions to shadow wraps.Would you just make the extra stitch on one side, turn, then knit without picking up wraps? thanks!
Ruby Gray I agree. I came here looking for what the result was supposed to look like. I’m working a project that uses shadow wraps to make a heel. One side of my work looks great but the opposite side is always messy and i cant figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Why on earth would you speed it up during a wrap? It's also confusing when the needles are being moved around a lot yet doing nothing, it looks like you're teaching for something that isn't there... 🤯
Thank you very much! You’re a very good teacher, and on top of that, your voice is very pleasant!
Excellent close up camera work; the best I've seen to illustrate this technique. Thanks!

Awesome! I have been using this a lot. I found it when doing the Vanilla is the New Black sock.
The best video I have found on Shadow Wrap & Turn. Thank you so much!!! I used the technique for the Fish Hat # 42 by J. G. Miller on Ravelry!!!!

That's a very messy-looking result. What was it supposed to be?

What happens when you get to the part of the pattern that says, "pick up your wraps"?
Just knit (or purl) the twin stitches together as if they are one stitch. There are no actual wraps with this method, just the twin stitches.
really good explained and a perfect video !!!Thank you
Really easy to understand. Thanks.
The visual presentation is good, but the audio is difficult to understand at times.

Great video, very clear and close up. I just suggest you slow down when speaking, sometimes it was hard to understand what you were saying
Большое спасибо! Очень доступно
This is the klutziest video and the audio is very horrible
