A sports league (can’t remember which) tried to have a separate category for trans but the trans boycotted it claiming it was discriminatory

I'm applaud this bill. Our girls and women MUST be protected from the men/boys who "feel" they are a girl/woman.
You are wrong to say trans people in sports do not hurt other people. Tell that to the young lady that played volleyball and had a ball spiked in her face by a man and was knocked unconscious and still has paralysis and vision problems
Or the woman injured in Women's soccer that got an aggressive "shoulder check" by "transwoman" Riley J Dennis. Or the woman in Women's MMA that had her orbital bone fractured by "trans-woman" Fallon Fox.

If there are seperare competitons for men and women, then just have transgenders compete against each other only. So make it women competition, man compition and trans compition... IT IS CALLED COMMON SENSE.
I don't agree with that. There should'nt be trans category as trans is absolute non sense. The category doesn't exist since anything and anyone can declare themself trans.
Now imagine accepting that category as valid, next step will be monetary. They will want a salary same as other category. Now how much will it be? Imagine if a man could get the same salary in sport as another men but playing in a "b" division instead of the top division.
I guess what i am saying is it will open up doors to stuff that will creat even more controversy which will also result in a 2nd men division (but the bad men that could qualifily in the real men division)...

I am against creating a distinct category which is solely based on suggestive identity. Never in history have we had issues with the idea of men sports and women sports.
Creating a new category is like acknowledging that these folks are a different bread of human which is ridicule since they are, in the end, either men or women regardless of how they mutilate themself.

You indirectly stated otherwise in your response by responding with a question and not actually addressing your stance. In this situation having a category for trans athletes is appropriate instead of having biological men on biological women's sport teams. Having biological men on biological women's sports teams is acknowledging biological men as equivalent to women.

I think my stance is clear as day. Ill say again, never in history have we had issues defining men and women. Never have we had issues with men category and women category.
Those person (the one who self identify has trans) are biological men or women. Therefore they already have a category to align with REGARDLESS of how they self identify. The whole self identification concept is what makes this debate a whole lot of non sense.
To summarize, i did not mention any added solution other than using the current system that never failed us in the past which is play under your biological sex group. Thats it. Fair for everyone.

To the man who mentioned Caitlin Clark becoming the all time scoring leader for both men's and women's basketball. He forgot to mention that Pete accomplished it in 3 years, not 4 like Caitlin, also he didn't have the benefit of the 3 point line existing yet, and there was no shot clock at that time. Lastly Pete played in a much different era when it comes to how fouls are called. Back then you could foul more on defense and get away with it. Anybody that grew up watching the battles Michael Jordan had vs LeBron James knows the difference. Apples to oranges comparison. Nice try lib. The libs are in quite a conundrum. On one hand they say they care about women's rights and on the other hand they say they are inclusive. So which group do they support? You can't support both on this issue. You have to pick one. You literally have the average male, walking into women's competitive powerlifting. And breaking their records by leaps and bounds. Setting records that will not come close to being broken ever, or for a very very long time.

Have no Democratic congressman received physicals prior to athletic participation? Ours were mandated for the health of the athlete and the liability of the sponsoring school systems. They included a hands-on genital examination for inguinal hernia. Are we now pretending that this isn't fact?
