    Good video. When done, be sure to go through the throttle position sensor reset procedure, using the gas pedal and key.

      @@josearellano3670 Get in the car, close doors and have key in your hand.
      Press the throttle all the way to the floor and leave it there.
      Put the key in the ignition and start the car.
      It should idle, even though the gas pedal is to the floor.
      Release pedal fully with a smooth action, don't snap it up.
      Stop the car, and restart. See if that fixes the position.

    What tools did you use? I have a 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0t. I want to replace the throttle body but I don’t know what tools to use to remove the bolts and screws

    Thanks for posting this. I got a P1235 code for Pedal Position Sensor. Have you had that before?

    What throttle body did you put in it? I found one for 160$ but I’m not sure if it’s good enough quality

      I ended up putting in one from a newer model year donor vehicle. I think it was about $25 (used).

      I think it is a good brand. They also make parts for Mercedes.

    Do you need Tech2 to marry the new throttle Body?

    • @bpetertube
      @bpetertube  3 года назад

      I did not use Tech2 to make it work with the replacement throttle body. I just replaced the old one.

    But did it clear the code ? I got the same po638 code yesterday. Seems like you used a pre owned tb did this actually work ?

    • @bpetertube
      @bpetertube  3 года назад +2

      In my case the code did not come back after I replaced the throttle body. You are correct, I used and replaced it with a pre-owned part.

    You didn't show what you did to replace the acturator just a before and after, how lame?
